it was clean, well fitted out, the room was big as well. the rooftop bar was a highlight as it overlooks the wetlands and the staff were friendly and helpful. we even dipped in the outdoor pool although the temperature of the water wasn’t quite enough to keep us warm in January. the breakfast was excellent, with something to pick for everyone - many sweet and savoury options.

we didn’t get a double bed but rather two twins put together. the soundproofing was non-existent and we had a group of lads right next to us coming back late and making a lot of noise which had a huge impact on our quality of sleep.

The room was large and clean. Location was good for the bars and restaurants in the old town.

The hotel name is misleading...the beach club was a 15 minute mini bus ride (max 8 people). The pool on the roof was a plunge pool too close to the bar/restaurant area. There was no outside space around the hotel eg beach/pool to sit around. The tea/coffee facilities were not refilled on a daily basis and we were charged when requested.

Absolutely everything, great location, wonderful staff, brilliant choices for breakfast, bed was so comfortable, we could not fault this hotel in anyway, would highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again, thank you for wonderful 5 night stay.

We liked everything, nothing to dislike.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very clean, well maintained and had great services, as 2 women traveling together safety is a concern and we really loved the safety of the hotel including the way the contactless cards worked for secure floor access to rooms. The roof top pool and bar was amazing for relaxing during the day and the restaurant had a great selection of food, especially for breakfast we were spoiled for choice for the week and bit we stayed. The staff here also made sure to inform people of when the kitchen was closing so if we needing anything else, the staff were very attentive to any requests and such nice people. We would definitely recommend getting breakfast as part of stay as we found it super value. As for the room it was well looked after, room service looked after the room well and overall the facilities were great. This review is from my wife and her friend who were staying at the hotel.

The only negative i could say was not having a kettle or coffee/tea machine in our room.

We were greeted from the start to check out from lovely staff. I had an issue trying to have a shower as I have hip and back problems so trying to climb into the bath was difficult and slippy for me(room 106) but we very very promptly got changed rooms(120)by I think Catherine (sorry if I got your name wrong) . She gave us another room with walk in shower which was more suited and very comfortable. Also Mathaus/Mathew helped us greatly with our check in on line flight going home as we are not very tech savy and could not upload files that was required. He was so patient and so helpful to us. The breakfast on the rooftop was so lovely. And so great to have that view to go out and sit with over your coffee. Turn right out of hotel to go to side streets to restaurants and bars and turn left go straight and through the arch to the many streets of the Old town. Keep trying all the old streets there even if you think theirs nothing down them as we came across a lovely sea view restaurant that we got a cheese board for 2 and wine and it was very tasty. Train station to the right about 5mns walk. We paid €7 return to Tavaria which was quiet but we went from the 18th-22nd March but I was there before and it's a buzzing town. You have to try Pipers pub if you like music. It starts 10-11 and can go on till very late. It's a good mix of age groups and fantastic music and brilliant cocktails 🍸

If I had to say anything it was that there was no sliced bread for breakfast only bread rolls and the hand sanitisers at the lifts didn't work but still very hygiene friendly.

- STAIRS to get to the lobby !!! very difficult to carry up the suitcase. - AUNTS in the bathroom - NOISE : NO CARPET on the first floor corridor, so people think they still are in the lobby, and continue to speak very loudly, and lough, and run, and you can ear it from the room.

We stayed here for one night due to both of our flights back to the UK being cancelled, because of the travel chaos that occurred on the bank holiday. We booked at 1pm and arrived at 5pm. The hotel itself, is nothing exceptional, the carpets/decor are a bit tired for example, amenities are just OK - however, what made this stay worth every single penny and more - and even surprised us, was the service from the front desk staff. I couldn’t believe how kind and thoughtful they were. Nothing was too much, they were honestly just so lovely, in particular Fernando, Matilde and Hugo. The staff themselves saved a pretty dire situation in my opinion, staying in a fine hotel for an unexpected night, rather than getting home, without them I’d have been pretty miserable!

Location is in the hub of Faro for a great price. Free access to the rooftop pool and gym were a bonus. Access to the sauna and steam room was only an additional £7 each for the whole day. Staff were exceptionally friendly and extremely accommodating, offering advice on good places to eat, drink and explore. Standard room was a perfect size for two people and the breakfast was great too. Staff also provided a mini takeaway breakfast the next day as our flight departed before breakfast buffet hours. Thank you so much! Would definitely recommend if anyone is staying in the Faro area.

Nothing to really complain about. Friendly, pleasant and well mannered staff. All of the hotel is extremely clean, rooms are a good size and beds very comfortable, always warm water. The breakfast is amazing, if you go out hungry it would be your own fault as there is plenty to choose from!! REAL freshly squeezed orange juice. The rooftop pool area is adequate and the water temp is just right. View from the restaurant area is of the marina. We were there on a B&B basis but the town is not short of eating places and a wide range of different cuisines. The bus station is a 5 min walk from the hotel and good value and a regular service. The area would be more for couples looking for a quiet holiday or short break away as not geared for children. A beach is a 20 min journey on a water taxi, there’s not a lot on that stretch so you would need to be a sun worshipper, although cheap to get there so worth a visit.

I’m not complaining but I love my tea and you do get a wee machine which looks like an espresso machine with pods, which are quite expensive as you’re charged for them, but I would prefer a kettle and ‘ordinary’ teabags. A balcony would also have been nice, although you could open one of the windows fully like a door, but you could really only see to the opposite side of the street.

I liked the location to all the shops, restaurants, bars. Transportation links boat, train and bus easy. Loads of taxis around too. Property was nice rooms were comfortable. We loved Tiago at reception, so helpful and friendly.

Being embarrassed at breakfast by a slim woman with straight black hair. Our rooms had already been checked, we were sitting down eating and she interrupted us to ask a second time. She never asked any other people. I felt we were singled out on purpose. She needs training and could’ve approached us after. Pool was small
