We´ve been there for the third time because we really like it a lot! Everything from the villa to the restaurant is very good. Perfect room-service and very friendly staff - in particular the waitress of the "Serenata" restaurant named "Chariane Wruck" was super attentive and kind.

Once again I have to point to the fact that the Spa is rather hell on earth than a Spa! Again the Whirlpool was overcrowded with little children ALTHOUGH a sign indicated that 16 years are the required minimum of age. The parents were either not there or did not pay any attention and for that reason the children also screamed, dived into the pool and so on... The (good) rules of the Spa have to be enforced by some authority (staff) or they are worthless! I left after 10 minutes in a rather angry mood than being relaxed - which is quite the contrary of what should happen to (paying) guests of my age (62). Only for that reason I had to give a 9 and not a 10 as my rating!

Staff were very friendly and helpful and very patient with small children running around. The breakfast was delicious and so much choice. Facilities were excellent, 2 main pools, 1 heated. Plus a toddler pool which our kids loved. Bar at the poolside with everything brought down to your seat for your comfort. Lovely bar snack menu and pizzas. Evening restaurant had the most delicious food 🥰 it is a set menu so limited choice but the taste was just fantastic. The villa itself had everything you need, like a luxury home from home. Washing machine and dishwasher came in so handy having small children. The air conditioning was fabulous. I loved our balcony from our bedroom, we could sit out and have wine or drinks after the kids went to bed. We could see the pool area and bar and hear the live music. But once we shut the doors it was silence. Also the shutter held out the early morning sunlight so we didn't wake at 4am with the sunrise. Also gave a sense of security. All in all we loved it and we will definitely return.

The only issue we had was no fault of the resorts and it was that the water was off for 24hours due to a burst main water pipe to the resort. We have two small children who are potty training, accidents happen and they get sticky and dirty. It was a bit distressing for us and them that they couldn't have a shower or wash their hands etc. Also no toilets could be flushed. Some water was supplied in a 5 gallon drum but at 6pm, when the water had been off since 6am and wasn't really enough for a family of four.

Comfortable and excellent service! Perfect for a family. Before our stay they arranged child seats for us (for our rental car) for a good price. Also installed children's safety gates on the stairs upon request. Spacious home with all amenities such as a washing machine and cooking equipment. The pools are great, one for little ones, a larger one for everyone and another heated pool which is indoors. You can relax and order drinks / food at the pool. Dinner here also great. Contact with the staff was truly excellent, they are so helpful! We had an amazing stay. Thank you!

All good, but if we are being critical, probably I'd update the couches which were quite worn. Freezer made a beep which was loud every now and then. Beds are fine but a bit on the hard side.

The resort has all of the benefits of a hotel without any disturbance from other guests. The villas are quiet, very spacious, have good quality appliances and air conditioning, and electric shutters which makes the rooms pitch black - ideal when you have a baby or toddler. The hotel provided us with both a cot and a highchair free of charge which is rare and was much appreciated. We tried breakfast once on the first day which was buffet style. We also had lunch and cocktails around the pool, both of which were very nice. The baby pool is lovely as is the main and indoor pool which is heated. The outdoor pools have a slightly rough floor so pool shoes may be a good investment for little ones if you don’t have them already. Not essential though. My daughter enjoyed the park and whilst she wasn’t old enough for the kids club, she was still able to use it under our supervision. We went into Carvoeiro on a few evenings and would agree that a car was useful, but there are a few restaurants within walking distance if you didn’t have one. We went to Luisa’s and the Pizzeria, both of which were lovely. We didn’t eat at the hotel in the evening but other guests we met spoke highly of the food.

Nothing!

The property is beautiful and well maintained, of a good size. The pools are quite good, so are the saunas, which are quite modern, even if a bit small. Breakfast was very good, with lots of variety and good quality. The rooms (or houses, rather) were news. super well maintained and extremely comfortable - quiet, good linen and towel, water temperature and pressure, modern and decently equipped kitchen, etc.

I don't know if I'd pick on these as much of the hotel brand wasn't called Details but, well, só me details were missing: - No paper towels or napkins in the kitchen - The saunas and spa close at 7pm - The property is obviously oriented towsrds families, but the scales of things (especially bathrooms) isn't friendly to small kids - Room service delivery is 15 euros (!) if the order is below 50 euros total - Its easy to get lost inside the property, for lack of clear walking paths, signage or house numbers facing the garden areas No deal breakers, but definitely details they could pay more attention to.

Really great villa with all facilities and service in a nicely decorated resort. Living room was tasteful and luxurious decorated, great terrace and balcony, kitchen with all supplies, kingsize bed was superb, rooms great, all with own bathrooms - a real 5-star treatment. Personnel friendly and service great. And a gym, tiny but perfect. Kids loved the swimming pool and the kids club. All in all a great stay!!

A perfect blend of your own self catering ( and huge!) Villa but with hotel services making it feel like a truly relaxing break. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful making it one of the best family holiday experiences we have had for a long time. It was great to have the tourist train and options for food on site too and the heated pool was a bonus. We found it easier having a car to explore nearby areas but taxis were easy enough to use too. Villa has towels for use at beach and pool as well as fully equipped kitchen and washing machine - everything we needed for a great trip.

The property is fantastic. The grounds are very nice, The pool is great and the rooms are perfect for families. The staff were excellent. Breakfast was great also

We have young kids which limited our ability to go to the restaurant in the evening. The quality of the food to takeaway was very good but the menu was a little limited. We also feel the activities for young kids was a little limited.

The villas were spacious and well equipped. The swimming pool was great. We ate in the restaurant twice and the food was lovely both times. The staff were lovely and friendly, especially the cleaning staff who were super efficient and did a great job. The place had a free shuttle train that went down to the town which was really handy. Overall very happy with our stay.

I don't think there was anything that was bad really apart from the showers being a little bit temperamental.

Good choice of breakfast and provided gluten free bread, croissant and cake. Staff all exceptionally helpful. No fighting for sunbeds in the morning. Drinks and food reasonably priced in the bar. Good storage space within wardrobes and villas large inside. Villas cleaned daily. Coffee machine good.

Coffee from machine at breakfast and UHT milk in cappuccino which wasn’t great, but very common around here just not to my liking. Fencing around football/basketball court could do with some repair. Would have eaten in restaurant if wasn’t a set menu.
