The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. We liked the little balcony, but not the view from it. Breakfast was okay.

We couldn't get into the room at the time provided on the site used to authorize payment (it says 14h). When we checked in, we almost immediately called the reception desk to ask to stay for another night, and the gentleman who answered told us that the hotel was full. I checked their website, and what he told us was not true. I don't know if he was ending his shift, or what happened to tell us that lie, so double check everything. Same thing happened the day after, when we asked for an iron; we got the information that there was no iron available, but we heard someone ask for two irons, and that person got one. Breakfast was okay, but there could be more diversity and at least two salads.

This was a great hotel. Super clean, great staff, and it was quiet. It’s in walking distance to many parts of Porto, but we also like to do a lot of walking. On the days we got tired (walked 12 miles, we totally took an Uber back) otherwise, it’s not bad location wise at all! There is a rooftop bar that you can enjoy some of the scenery from. We would totally stay here again.

The chef was not there so we couldn’t actually do much for room service- BUT the charcuterie board that we did get was actually pretty fantastic.

Hotel is new and modern, location is 20min walk to city center, 5min to metro station and bus stop is in front of the hotel. There are 2 stores in vicinity, which is great. The hotel has open rooftop bar with cozy seats and view of a city that is beautiful. Neighborhood is not very touristy but it's safe. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, but are numerous eateries on the avenue. Even the Estadio do Dragao is 25 min walk uphill if you're up to it. Room and bathroom were clean except one day.

We had to wait for an hour to enter our room because it wasn't clean and at the end, receptionist changed the room, they did give us complimentary drinks but it was tiresome. Also, one day our room wasn't clean, they said it wasn't a priority to clean it, but our trash was full.

Beautiful and modern hotel with spacious room and bathroom. The roof top bar got some tasty drinks and a nice view over Porto. Really friendly and helpful staff. Located near some bus stops and in near walking distance to a metro station. Pubs/Bars and restaurants are also located nearby the hotel. Parking is available, but no for free, the price is okay, if you compare it to the surrounding opportunies. I highly recommend this accomodation in Porto!

Just a small issue at the breakfast. I personally don't like the capsuled coffee, those pads produce so much waste which could be easily be replaced by a different coffee machine. Would be amazing if the hotel could change this.

Awesome hotel - modern, huge rooms and bed and very clean. Location is a little bit on the outskirt of the city centre but easily accessible by metro and bus, jus at few stops to Bolhao. Local neighborhood includes huge supermarket, bakery and coffee shops were locals buy meaning not tourist prices. The staff are extremely helpful, respectful and patient with us.

coffee! Exorbitant for the €4 a cup of cappucino, no taste just like coffe from a vending machine. Found much better coffee from the cafeteria near the statio.

Beautiful hotel located not far from the city center. We were offered an early check in, which was much appreciated.

- Check in was a bit weak, no information were given and no concierge service was offered. - I was very surprised and disappointed to find 2 dirty towels in my bathroom when I checked in. Thankfully the FO staff reacted quickly and provided clean ones. - Breakfast was okay, but not so many options. Not as good as shown on the pictures. - Rooms were really not soundproof.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble. They also helped us research information about an event, which we were struggling to find ourselves. It really made our stay so much more enjoyable. The room was lovely. It was clean, comfortable and a good size.

If we had to make a constructive comment, our coffee pods weren't always refilled, but we were able to work around that.

The staff was super friendly. They helped me to call a local restaurant that could only speak Portuguese. I loved the location, in a local neighborhood where we could eat local in a local ambience, but not far from the center. 20 min walking distance to Ponte Luis I, about 4EUR in Uber which is convenient at night. The room was very spacious, modern and clean. I will defiiniltey come back to this hotel.

The rooftop was not open when we were there, end of March.

Our stay at Acta The Avenue was a really pleasant one. The location was pretty good, as the metro station was at walking distance, but the city centre is also close by foot. The room was spacious, with a comfy bed, and it was really clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, offering us directions and tips for visiting Porto. We decided to have breakfast there and it was really good, and at great value for money. Would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was great, staff was exceptionally nice and helpful, room was very clean, spacious and had everything guests would need. I requested for 2 more pillows as the ones they had were kinda thin so I got what I needed. Also, the only person working at the reception desk after midnight was very kind and helpful as he helped bring our luggages down for a 3:30 a.m. pick-up by our taxi.

I think they might have been understaffed because they have a beautiful rooftop terrace with a bar but there was no one to attend to it. We had to order from the bar on the ground floor and bring our drinks to the rooftop terrace.
