Room is large and clean. Bathroon is wonderful with a very nice bathtub. Staff is friendly. Location is great. Overall it is a great hotel.

There was an event for around 3 days starting from the day of our arrival and the hotel did not inform us prior to arriving about that event, as too many people attending the event caused traffic infront of the hotel. As I travelled to Qatar by car, hotel parking was hard to access since the hotel mostly uses valet (Its hard for a guest to park his car by himself as you need to explain to valet workers every time upon arriving to open the gate for you to park yourself.) The hotel also wont give an access card for a guest to enter the parking easily. Another minor issue is that the food menu (in room) espicially for breakfast and overnight is somewhat limited, as only specific selections are avaliable.

Mandarin Oriental in Doha was arguably the best hotel we’ve stayed in (have stayed in several 5* hotels around the world). The service was exceptional across the board from check in to room service to breakfast to the concierge, all fantastically attentive. The room was luxurious as you’d expect with a Mandarin Oriental, extremely clean and spacious. The room was cleaned on request and to an excellent standard. Breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, not too busy either. Additionally, we had room service, which again tasted great. The location is very good in the downtown area of Doha, plenty of restaurants nearby and walking distance to Souq Waqif. I would however note, there is a valet service outside and therefore, large congregations of locals do tend to the gather in the evening times - not an issue for us but you may want a quieter entrance to the hotel.. I don’t often write reviews but I had to for Mandarin. I would highly highly recommend it and we will absolutely use this hotel again in a heartbeat. I am now inclined to always stay at the Mandarin chain wherever I go. Thank you again to the staff for their great hospitality.

almost everything .... fantastic breakfast, good length of the swimming pool, decent French food at Izu Team members are going the extra mile to meet guest requirements - this compensates when they don't always fully master the product knowledge.

1. rooms facing the street are surprisingly noisy; the noise is amplified by the fact that the streets feature paving stones; not ideal for noise-sensitive guests. Would expect noise-proof windows that isolates street noise. 2. Loud ventilation and AC at in swimming pool area - feels like being close to machinery room - topped up by pop-music, undermining the chill out and relax experience in that area. So good for a swim, not good to relax and try to be in peace... 3. The way the baguette bread is cut (very fine slices...) at the Izu restaurant - quite "un-french"....

I have stayed in many luxurious hotels before, but I haven't encountered such high level of customer service that you offer your guests. I'm very much impressed.. Special thanks goes to the concierge team that were exceptionally attentive to every request & whenever I needed assistance of any kind. They responded via WhatsApp & mobile texting; meaning they were always available around the clock even if I wasn't at the hotel. I have previously stayed in other branches of the Mandarin & they weren't this attentive.. You have truly made my stay more enjoyable.. Thank you & Bravo Doha branch..!!

I really liked the location of the hotel. It was close (walking distance) to two points of interest Souq Waqif (lots of shops to see) and The Pearl. The heat aside, the location is pretty great if you're up for exploring on foot. The bed was very comfortable and there was a lot of nice closet space. The room also had what's called a valet closet. Belongings can be placed in the closet and staff can retrieve them without entering your room. Pretty cool!! The full length windows/doors actually opened so you get an inside outside feel. The hotel facade is covered in a metal laticce for privacy as well, given the hotel is surrounded by buildings. The Concierge and staff were very warm and courteous. Customer service in the hotel, I would say is top knotch. It made me fell like a really valued guest. I spent my layover exploring on foot and going to the museum. I'm really satisfied with my stay at MO.

My bathroom was a little unclean but the staff responded promptly to clean it after I advised them.

The breakfast wasn't excellent, but I was satisfied. The bed's were so comfortable and the bathrooms were cleaned very well. The best part was the service. Hotel Staff, especially room cleaners are SO KIND. A special shoutout to Henry that served our food, and Shafik that cleaned our room.

When we checked in, Booking.com canceled our reservation because we hadn't arrived yet. However, check out isn't until 12 I believe, and we arrived before it would have marked a missed day. We think the hotel called booking.com. But this isn't necessarily a complaint, just a question.

Everything was amazing - staff were excellent from the moment you walk into hotel. Breakfast lunch and dinners were excellent - room was beautiful and facilities overall were incredible. The hotel is in a great location near the souk and is a very easy area to walk around with plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy to get to the museums too. The concierge was very helpful in organising what to do and made excellent recommendations and organised a brilliant desert trip which we all loved.

It had been very loud with car noise. Some of us could hear the car noise through the windows and couldn’t get enough sleep. Maintain a good sleeping environment is important.

Impeccable service. Full stop. Special thanks to the senior concierge, Kynn, and the bartenders at Ambar, Jurgen and Gleb, for making our stay hassle free and fun. But the whole team at MO Doha were truly fantastic. Everything you need or want is there or they will find it or make it happen for you. No hiccups, no issues. Facilities were top notch. Thanks again for making our visit as comfortable and convenient as possible.
