Beautifully designed hotel. Loved the heated pool and spa facilities. Buffet was extensive for breakfast especially. Staff around the pool exceptionally friendly and helpful

The cost of food and drink here was so prohibitive that we went without during the day between breakfast and dinner. We understood alcohol would be expensive so £25 for a cocktail wasn’t too much of a shock but £6.85 for a can of coke and £9 for an iced coffee seemed utterly ridiculous!

The team seems very friendly and kind. I lived in Doha 7 years ago and Sharq village was one of my spa place. Love Arabic style room and decoration. Was excited to visit again and my kids were first time in Qatar. I was traveling with two kids alone and it wasn't easy. However, The hotel team was very hospitality. From check-in to Check-out, everything made my life easier. Was so perfect break. House keeping was amazing and the cleaner name Swath(sorry for the wrong spelling) was very helpful. I love to back to stay in the hotel again. Thank you for everything. Hope your team get happier and more success.

The very high ratings and 5 star speak for themselves. I had a great time, felt absolutely spoiled and loved our stay. Rooms - super large comfortable bed, furniture was beautiful and solid quality. Facilities - amazing pools, plenty of space, lovely clean beach. Beautiful interiors of hotel, great buffet with plenty of choice. Staff - everyone smiles and is helpful. Final top tip, I thought this place was great for kids. Our 3 year old loved the pool, fountains, beach, bouncy castle, racket and ball games. Happy to recommend to parents.

The natural splendour of this location astounded me. They have perfectly blended the old and new while preserving their heritage. I could not have stayed at a more picturesque hotel. The photos on numerous websites do not do this place any justice; wait till you experience it for yourself. The staff are fantastic; they are extremely friendly, speak good English, and constantly go above and above their responsibilities. A special mention to Shujib and Dewan (Pool Side/Beach) for making our experience even more enjoyable. The rooms are very spacious, well decorated and clean, well the establishment has a whole is spotless.

During my visit, the fire alarm was tested twice in the morning on two separate days, which was inconvenient but understandable.

Absolutely 5* stunning resort in every way. Private beach & amazing pools with comfortable sun loungers. Boys at the pool are so helpful & always there for you. Our room was wonderful, large balcony with sea view, comfortable cozy 4 poster bed 😍fabulous shower with complementary amenities, bathrobes & slippers, complementary water, coffee maker & tea, also fridge in room, really good AC unit Buffet breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had, all restaurant food was amazing. Staff are so kind, thoughtful & helpful. We celebrated our wedding anniversary & they arranged a fabulous table at the Parisa Souq Waqif ( which should not be missed) decorated our bed & gave us cake, thanks again you lovely people. Also, whilst there my husbands gout raised it’s nasty head again & they supplied a wheelchair & could not do enough for us. We would highly recommend this 5* resort & we will most definitely be staying here again on our next visit

Everything was just wonderful except the wind. It was windy for most of our stay but at the pool you were able to sit out without any problem. Great staff starting from the pool ones, our housekeeper, breakfast, concierge etc. Immaculate gardens thanks to the gardeners. Our room was nice, a bit dark but that's the Arabic style, nice balcony, very clean, lovely swimming pool with lots of sun beds. Thick towels. Breakfast was good, fresh orange juice, different types of breads, fruit, pancakes, eggs and of course some Arabic dishes. Espresso machine in our room, kettle and water. Lovely beach, it was too cold to use the beach but we did take a walk and I must say there is enough space for everyone to enjoy it.

From arrival to departure we felt like royalty! The staff were so incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even sent a cake and balloons to the room for my sons birthday. The room was beautiful and very big, just the lead in room. The hotel itself is exactly what you’d expect from a 5 star Ritz Carlton property, the pool was stunning and the facilities were great, something for everyone. Lovely location on the beach! A great place to holiday and relax, not just stopover.

My 15J old son and I stayed in the hotel for three nights in August. It was my son's birthday and the houskeeping ( Hermanth) and the restaurant ( Badr Errasfi ) did an amazing job at surprising my teenager ( cake, balloons,etc.) Everybody from the personell was extremely kind and helpful. The last night we had an incident with very loud, smoking neighbors during the whole night ( had a connecting room). The issue was solved very delicately and professionally by Mr. Pedro.

Do not accept a connecting room if you are a non-smoker or a family. Since we needed a twin bed room, it could mean you get very loud smoking neighbors, who do not let you sleep the whole night.

The epitome of Qatari hospitality, Sharq exceeded all expectations. The ambiance of the resort is elevated by its pristine surroundings and relaxing atmosphere. The authentic decor lends a grandiose charm. Breakfast was a lavish spread full of delectable food with an unbelievable range of choices. The bar at El Cedro was a classy speakeasy with a welcoming vibe. But it is the staff which elevates the resort above its peer. The staff were courteous and cooperative beyond their call of duty. Mejdat allowed early check-in, while Joven at front desk was always willing to help at all times, Nishrine and Koutare at dining were welcoming and friendly.
