Location was good specially for female and male. A thanks to Bayan , Faisal and Asaliah for the warm welcoming and assisting. I considered that all staff from bottom to top are cheerful and helpful and fast responding this what conflict that their is a proper management going. The room size and bathroom was good and clean. Good quality amenities. Sahoor was good , with variety and the staff was helpfull and their manger in the 12th Floor restaurant was great.

It would be greater if the window could be more cleaner and with out fence so I can see Haram properly.

I like the room and the beds comfort. The ambience and the location. The food was good too and they have excellent selection of breakfast. I further, like the hard working restaurant staff who are also very helpful..

The reception staff. There is a question about one of the staff members integrity and honesty yet when brought this to the attention of the fellow staff at the reception no action was taken. When i also complained the staff did not react or take any action regarding the staff member in question. This could jeopardise the reputation of the hotel. Some staff at the reception lack some common customer services basics. This needs to be rectified.

regarding for the room i was lived for 27m the room was very clean and cool in the fridge have 2 juice and 2 water and breakfast very good but the price for breakfast was very high for 1 person 150 SAR and the location very neeuear in haaram

The staff were amazing, the rooms were very spacious and clean. We got to our room and were just about to unpack when we were unexpectedly but pleasantly surprised when we were told we're being upgraded to the prestige suite with a Haram and city view. Wow! It was really huge and extremely spacious, it was like having an apartment in a top hotel. The staff were very courteous and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The reception would answer the phone immediately without any delay and any requests would be dealt with instantly. The location to Masjid e Nabwi was unbelievable, you come out of the hotel turn left and within 5 mins you're at gate number 21, what more could you want. Would highly recommend it to those looking for a top hotel in prime location for an affordable price.

Nothing to dislike

It was third time staying in the hotel. As before location and facilities were exceptional. We got full board for whole family. I would like to state the quality of food was great even better than before. Any request made was completed promptly by staff. Will definitely recommend for anyone coming to Madinah Munawara to chose this place for stay. Overall how Sofitel has managed the hotel is Exceptional

Had a rude encounter once with one chef staying with bread warmer section during breakfast. Spoke rudely with my mom which was not acceptable. I did speak with him there. The chefs need to be courteous with guests. Also one supervisor in restaurant who was in his fifties by age wore suit most of time was always difficulty with staff working on floor. It made us uncomfortable how he treated them. Once he had us wait longer to check when we come to restaurant even seeing us everyday and knew we had full board with multiple rooms. One thing that was a bit annoying that out key cards gave us problems almost every other day. We had to go to reception to get that sorted.

Super rooms, very clean and maintained. Friendly staff. Very helpful and kind. Love the availability of lifts all over the floor. Reception was very courteous. We took breakfast only, but that too was excellent. It was a very pleasant stay.

There is a private corridor outside our room door before entering the main corridor. This corridor is shared by two rooms, and it can be quite disturbing and inconvenient when the neighbours start talking loud in the corridor right outside our door at night.

We had booked a suite for 3 adults. The suite had a large well furnished room, a spacious living room and a massive L shaped bathroom with a bidet. The location was very near Masjid e Nabwi and opposite the Hilton so a busy vibrant area. A variety of food was served at breakfast plus the restaurant in the hotel served lunch if required. Despite having a short stay we really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The staff were excellent, especially Anwar. The shortcomings were power cuts and leaking shower area. A relative said they didn’t have these issues on their floor or room so it must be a problem on our floor. Otherwise a very clean modern hotel. Amazing views of Masjid e Nabwi. Really enjoyed our stay and will visit again Insha’allah. Highly recommend staying here.

Management of power cuts and the shower needs an extended shower screen to prevent water leaking from shower area.A relative staying on the floor below said they didn’t have these issues on their floor or room so it must be a problem on our floor.

2nd time staying at the Sofitel and it didn't disappoint. Free upgrade offered at check in, which was appreciated. Quick, easy and professional check in with Mr. Ahmed Fadhi. Very polite and professional. Location of the hotel to the mosque is 100m away and there are so many lifts available so there was never any queuing for me and the family. Room sizes were very big, clean, modern and nicely decorated. Housekeeping teams were always available and active. didn't use the hotel restaurants this time. The staff were amazing again, from Ahmed Fadhi to the security guards always smiling and willing to help and the helpers always opening a door for you. Parking was available on site and very cheap for Madinah central.

Location is excellent Room it self is excellent, but Location of the rooms in case I requested for suite wasn't OK, as I got 2 rooms without inner connection, and privacy of outwards connection wasn't preserved because of presence of housekeeping store room included with my 2 rooms in the same entry door to the connection, in case the reception employee ( Female)managed this well when I announced and informed housekeeping not to disturb us and not using this store room, in case the common Door for the connection wasn't allowed to be closed.

Breakfast restaurant was overcrowded in case of presence of trip big groups and families with children in the same time , so not suitable for sensitive children, So the whole floor must be used for setting, not to be closing half of the floor( cafee side) and need permission to use it , it wasn't practical from my point of view.
