Our room No4 was clean well presented was at the side/rear and quiet, comfy bed. I had the full english breakfast, this was large and very good. Skeptical about parking, but found a space both nights.
We stayed 2 nights, was disappointed that the room was not serviced after 1st night, so came back in the evening too damp towels, unmade bed and tea & coffee not topped up. Tried to pre-order a meal in the restaurant for the 1st night as arriving late, to be told on the phone that they no longer serve food.

The room was large and very clean. Very comfy bed and fan which was a bonus on a very hot day! Train station is right across the road which is very convenient. Breakfast was huge and good quality ingredients. Staff were very friendly and the pub manager was lovely. We loved the 2 resident dogs too! I asked for a quieter room if possible (which I know is hard in a pub!) and we were given one at the back of the property. It was quiet with no road noise. Brilliant selection of cider and ales in the pub. Love the original features of the pub and would definitely stay again next time I am visiting family and friends in the Black Country.

We are Brits living in America visiting family in the area and I wanted our 19 year old son to experience a proper pub. I chose The Seven Stars because it is an Edwardian grade II listed building, serving local real ales and ciders on tap. Owners and staff were super friendly and the huge cooked breakfast was AMAZING.
The check in was a little delayed, but that was because the pub was full of patrons. Maybe tell guests in advance that if they can't see a parking spot out front to go to the train station over the road.

All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Hotel room very clean and comfortable. Complementary bottles of water, with bottle of fresh water for the kettle, fan in room if needed, little bottles of shampoo/ conditioner etc and tea/ coffee with extras all in hotel room. Didn't use it but thought the coffee machine in room was a great touch. Bar its self, good prices and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast worth the price. Would 100% visit à gain. Rollo and Eric are also great hosts at breakfast time :-).

The bed was v comfortable, the room was decorated to a high standard, the shower was great, everything was spotless. The breakfast was very good quality. Loved all the original Victorian fixtures.
The WiFi password was not in the room so had to go down and ask for it. There was a green light in the ceiling that was on all night which was a bit bright and I could hear the traffic too so I didn't sleep so well unfortunately, but my husband slept fine.

It was easy to find and parking was available outside. Rooms were newly decorated, clean and had all the things you need in it. Shower was hot and powerful and the room was lovely and warm. We booked breakfast and that was delicious, well worth the money and had a great chat with the landlord and landlady after. What a lovely couple. We felt very welcome.
For rooms over a pub it was very quiet in the bars. However, my room was to the front over looking the main road which was a busy road with a lot of traffic noise. I live in the country so not used to so much noise but it wouldn’t put me off staying again. Beautiful pub.

Breakfast was exceptional, 10 mins walk to Stourbridge town centre with a choice of places to eat. Room very comfortable with everything you could need. Location great next to railway station. Easy access to major road network if travelling by car. Although the Seven Stars is in a busy residential area we were not disturbed by any noise and slept well (we stayed in room 4) Well stocked bar friendly staff and locals

Want to stay in a pub that really does feel like a pub and not a restaurant with rooms? This is the one for you! The room was big and had, with thoughtful attention to detail and a comfortable bed. The staff were fantastic, even when I arrived late due to a delayed flight. Breakfast was full-English and was excellent.
This is a pub rather than a hotel. I liked everything, but it might not suit everyone. No lift - of course, because it’s an old building, but there were a lot of stairs to climb with a heavy bag.

My son and I travelled to Stourbridge for a family funeral. We 'accidentally' fell upon the Seven Stars on the internet and were completely delighted that we did. From the moment we arrived we were met by a charmingly friendly staff who were beyond helpful in making the stay as comfortable and as easy as possible. This is a fantastic old pub, 1907 I believe and is fitted with most of its period fittings which make the stay extra special. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgable and easy to get along with. I would recommend the 'Stars' to anyone without thinking twice about it. The Stars has one of the most comprehensive selection of beers and cider that I've seen with loads of guest ales for the discerning drinker to tackle. I leave until last a word on the breakfasts. Look out! Is all I can say. I have never in my lifetime been confronted with such a huge selection of the most delicious ingredients one could wish for. All beautifully cooked by a darling of a lady who again was so pleasant and helpful. Seriously, be hungry for this breakfast - Red Rum couldn't have jumped across this - massive! Well done, The Seven Stars, keep it up. We WILL be back. John and Robin O'Donnell.
The only thing that could have made our stay better was if we had been able to stay even longer. A gem of place. Please don't change, what you have here is brilliant.

The period features of the pub are outstanding. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. All was kept very clean and tidy. The accommodation is very handy for the railway station and little train to the town. The breakfast was fantastic. The real ales on offer were exceptional in variety and quality.
Our room overlooked the garden which was a smoking area but luckily on a Sunday this did not prove problematic for us
