everything was great and fair according to the price we pay. Very clean, tidy and a charming place.

We arrived at 11:00pm, 1 hour later after our expected arrival time we added on Booking as we were booking. The receptionist told us that there's a "23 euros late fee" because we didn't arrive on time. We didn't pay at the end and the receptionist let us go with it, but it was a bit uncomfortable for us to pay a "late fee" and we are guests - isn't very accomodating. Hope that makes sense.

Friendly welcome from Rita, who was very helpful and spoke excellent English! Lovely breakfast. We stayed in the apartment across the street which had good, clean facilities. Access to Garmisch centre excellent due to adjacent bus stop and the guest card the hotel gave us which made travel on it free.

Our room in the Apartment was quite close to the road (the hotel was set back from the road) so we did get quite a bit of road noise and the curtains didn't keep the light out very well.

Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The breakfast was superb, offering a wide variety of delicious options that exceeded our expectations every morning. The rooms were warm, comfortable, and remarkably quiet, making it easy to relax and unwind. Everything was spotlessly clean, with housekeeping ensuring our room was refreshed daily. Additionally, the hotel offers an impressive selection of saunas, adding a wonderful touch of relaxation to our stay. This is such a wonderful hotel and I’m so pleased I chose it! The spa was amazing and completely surpassed my expectations. Four different saunas (including a herbal sauna with real cedar foliage covering the floor), steam room, cold plunge and a lovely pool. The staff spoke excellent English and were so helpful. They can arrange trips, dinner reservations and even post your postcards for you. The whole place was spotlessly clean throughout, absolutely immaculate. I loved the self-service area for limitless coffee, juice and vending machines for if you want a little snack. Lots of little extra touches, like sweets, a daily travel guide and interactive information screen in-room. There’s a bike hire shop about three doors down and an ATM and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The cable cars and town centre are all within a few minutes’ drive.

The car park can get a bit busy but there is plenty of space to park on the road directly outside (just make sure you park facing the same direction as traffic or you will get a ticket). Whilst the road is quite busy with traffic noise during the day, it goes completely silent at night, so you’ll still get a good night’s sleep.

Good evening! Initially, we were assigned a room in the quiet area of ​​the hotel as we requested by email. But it was in the attic and having V-shaped beams, in many places in the room I should have been careful and walked bent over so as not to I hit the head. The lady who was at the reception that afternoon (September 22, 2024) was very kind and assigned us another room (although she told us that she still doesn't understand why we don't like the attic room... it's true the view was gorgeous)... the newly assigned room (apartment) was facing the street, in the location across the road, but there was no problem... the night was quite quiet. The apartment was spacious, clean and we felt very comfortable in it... we stayed in the afternoon after coming from a walk, with great pleasure in the balcony, you could see the mountains... The breakfast was excellent...and when I say that, it really was. Congratulations to the hotel management, as well as the entire staff! Everything was very good, including the fact that the parking lot was in the hotel yard. We liked the location, we liked the city, the surroundings...everything was wonderful.

Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal by loading up on pancakes to kickstart your day or something light and healthy, the breakfast spread is designed to satisfy your morning appetite. The location of Hotel Rheinischer Hof is ideally suited for winter sports enthusiasts. The hotel is conveniently situated near a ski shop, making it incredibly easy to rent ski or snowboard equipment. Moreover, its proximity to delicious restaurants means you're never far from enjoying a sumptuous meal after a day on the slopes. The hotel is also surrounded by multiple mountains, offering a range of slopes for skiing and snowboarding, catering to both beginners and experienced adventurers. Whether you're there to hit the slopes or simply to relax and take in the stunning scenery, this hotel is sure to enhance your experience. My only complaint is that I didn’t take photos of the building.

I was lucky to get recently renovated rooms. Extra touches like daily weather / travel information, free drinks all day with a good selection of juice / soft drinks from the dispenser, little rubber duck in shower, sewing kit etc. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good range of facilities provided (swimming pool, sauna, gym etc.) although I did not use them during my short stay.

Difficult to find parking space (had to park on the street). Not really a criticism but I'm not sure why the bathroom needs so many power sockets (there's 7 power sockets beside the basin)

This was a very nice hotel in a safe and quiet area. A couple of good restaurants within walking distance. The bus stop is quite literally in front of the hotel. The room was very nice and clean. Even had a section where you could drop your boots and heavy jackets. Fantastic view with a very large balcony. And was given a free bus pass for the entirety of my stay which was nice! Would definitely stay again!!

None. Not a thing about the hotel but the bus it only runs once every hour. So make sure to check maps when planning unless you would want to walk 15-20 minutes to the closest activity area. Which honestly I didn't find the walk to be difficult and quite enjoyed it.

Very comfortable, spacious room for family with 2 kids. Good breakfast, freshly-squeezed orange juice, pancakes, fruits. A very good bonus - coffee-bar is available from afternoon till 22:30. If you have snacks or ordered pizza, you can spend time there. A lot of variety of cold and hot drinks through the day. Good spa, heated pool, saunas. We had a car, there is free parking lot. It was convinient to reach Zugspitsebahn, it takes 15 min drive.
