It was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable but could be improved with a selection of yoghurts, provision of omelettes, some cold meats and cheeses. Then it would be better value for the cost of B and B.
The TV works in an extraordinary way - I had to obtain details from reception by going there myself as I am not au fait with using QR codes. The lighting in the room does not enable one to work at the desk in the winter months and could be easily remedied with a table light. There should be a glass in the bathroom for use when cleaning teeth or even having a glass of water.

loved the warm freindly staff and the hotel is in a very well placed location
the hotel looks very tired, and in some places the carpet is so threadbare that you actually have holes, but they are going through a revamp so I'm guessing they know it is due some money spent on it. Will say I don't think the work that has been done is to highest quality,as we had a refurbished room and the shower came away from the wall and hit me on the head. and as it was the weekend there was no maintenance people to fix, i actually asked for a set of allen keys as i would have happily fixed it myself but they didn't have any on site,, so on the Sunday we were unable to shower which wasn't great. but I did inform them that the room would not be fit to use until it had been sorted.

I thought the hotel was lovely. I stayed in a double room and other members of my family also had a large two double bed room. Both were very spacious. They were clean and had good facilities - great shower, fantastic size television. The bed was definitely the comfiest I have had at any hotel. The breakfast was very reasonable and had a wide variety of options to cater for all. We didn't use the leisure facilities but there were some on site. Also easy to park at.
Directions to the bedrooms. It can be a bit of a maze! I would have appreciated perhaps some conditioner and moisturiser in the bedroom/bathroom but the shampoo provided was lovely as was the hand wash and shower gel.

- loved self check in and out - staff at the gym were exceptionally friendly
We couldn’t get a drink at the bar when we arrived late after a flight and were advised last orders had been called, even though many other customers were still being given drinks Breakfast was okay. It was advertised as English and continental but we came from Germany and expected to find ham/ cheese and rolls under continental. Also we were not made aware that we could order eggs in a different way than scrambled on the first day and on the second day, it was too busy to ask because the chef was always from his post as the restaurant was busy so we just had to have what was available

Beautiful hotel, comfortable bed. Lovely staff
Only 2 double plug sockets on opposite side of room and one of them wasn't working. Not enough lighting that worked in the room (102) Having asking for disabled access as I am currently in a wheelchair due to my leg in plaster, I couldn't charge my phone easily and the tea coffee facilities were by the door, which was not easy for me to access in my wheelchair as its the opposite end of the room. Also the bath is not disabled access. Not that it ruined my stay, because I will be back once I'm not in my wheelchair! Just something to consider for elderly and disabled customers.

Very large bed. The room wasn't too hot - which makes a nice change from other hotels. Good facilities - with a nice restaurant, bar and leisure complex (though we did not have the time to use any of them as were had an all day wedding to attend).
Whilst our accommodation was apparently an 'Upgrade' (Rm323), the plumbing in the bathroom could do with some attention. The noise from the sink when emptying the water, was extremely loud and went on for several minutes every time it was used. Additionally, the toilet flush was very weak and required four or five hard pushes on the handle to activate the flushing process.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a large TV and modern decoration. The pub / restaurant was very convenient and the hotel itself was excellent value for money. All in all, apart from a couple of minor tweaks, it was very pleasant stay (I slept really well) and I will definitely try and go back there.
I went to the pub for dinner and the food was excellent, although on the pricey side, but it was really loud with noisy groups - this may have been particularly noticeable because I was very tired. I also had breakfast and the staff were friendly and professional, but were struggling to cope with the numbers and were flat out. In the room, the shower was a bit disappointing - low pressure and fluctuating temperatures.

Our room was amazing so spacious
We had prepaid for breakfast and everyone wanted eggs. My parents were there also as had stayed in a different room. We were told there were only 2 eggs left. I find this absolutely ridiculous. We were by no means last to breakfast it still had at least an hour to run. My children basically had a piece of toast and we paid full price. The staff in restaurant a rather loud lady wasn't at all bothered and told us just the way it is!! We were visiting from Scotland and were checking out to head to my grandads funeral. I was unable to bring up my dissatisfaction at reception due to another guest having a very loud argument with 3 members of staff about something he wasn't happy with. It's such a shame that breakfast and restaurant staff let this down as our room was amazing

It was a warm welcome straight through the door. The staff were absolutely lovely, they made the kids (9&6) feel so special with the little treats they left on their bed. The room was warm and cosy, the beds were mega comfy that we didn’t want to get out of them, the duvets were a nice weight and the pillows were so soft but firm. Breakfast was great value for money, so tasty, the kids loved it, so many options: fry up, fruit, cereals, yoghurts, toast, waffles and little packs of Nutella. The restaurant staff are attentive and have fabulous memory, first name basis, and egg order recall. The leisure team were again, amazing, I took the kids swimming, which they enjoyed and the fabulous lady gave them certificates for amazing swimming. It’s the little things that make the best memories, and they have made a lasting one.
They had a technical issue with some of the tvs, that wasn’t much of an issue but they could do with some more plugs in the room. Travelling 3hrs with a near dead phone battery and children’s devices plus getting ready with a hairdryer, 1 socket wasn’t enough.

Friendly staff, clean hotel, good choice at breakfast
My room was at the back of the hotel, the window wasn't very well soundproofed, so it was noisy from the passing traffic. I would have struggled to sleep if I wasn't wearing ear plugs. Room lighting was a bit dim on one side of the room as no lights on one side, which was where the mirror was, so was hard to see yourself. Needs clearer signs outside that parking is free over the weekend, as I paid without realising.
