Location, views, penthouse we stayed in was amazing, beautiful views, amazing location. Staff is England, check in was flawless, the establishment is honestly one of a kind aesthetically and was just a beautiful, breathtaking experience.

The in-house dining severed us a chicken wing meal that made both me and my partner violently ill caused us to have food poisoning and was not a good last night at all. We could not use the jacuzzi/hot tub was not clean enough when we complained they simply just added chlorine which was hardly solved the problem..so that was disappointing.

Modern and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds and beautiful bathroom. Maintenance of the room and cleanliness is up to standard. Room service executed quickly. You won’t be disappointed with your stay.

Parties are hosted by some guests which becomes noisy and rowdy during the early hours of the morning. This was reported and attended to immediately by front desk and security. Mismatching glassware should be corrected. We couldn’t find a pair of champagne glasses which is odd for 5 star and considering we booked the stay for a couple/2 guests.

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast although portions were too big for me. Loved the spa and infinity pool and the friendly staff and all the amenities. Bongo and his staff were especially helpful in organizing airport shuttles and drives to specific locations ard Joburg

I noticed toilet floor in spa could have been cleaner. Also the steep steps into the Infinity Pool are REALLY dangerous. The steps were also very slippery so I fell in and wet my hair. If I had been taller I could have really injured myself. Someone came and saw I was alright later when I was hvg treatment in spa. I told them there sd be a sign as in US and Europe pool steps are much shorter. So you slip and can hurt yourself.

The room was nice and spacious, with a nice ambiance to it. The location is safe and convenient, with Masjid Furqaan a mere 5 minutes walk away. The breakfast was solid - a buffet, with the ability to order extra items like the type of eggs you want, which is included in the normal breakfast charge. Turndown was quite cool as - having someone come through and get your room ready for the nice.

In the room we stayed, the hot water was not working properyly in all of the taps. With this, the hot water was not extremely hot (as my wife likes). The fridge in the room also did not really keep the as cold as expected. For the type of hotel, the heating options in the room were limited with the aircon only allowing temperatures up until 26 degrees celcius - an additional heater or electric blanket would be appreciated.

We absolutely loved the place. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful and clean. We got a rose and a glass of champers upon arrive and were ushered to our room in style. Ate at the Nova restaurant and had the Asian Thai ribs are to die for, try them! Did I mention how helpful the staff was??! There is a generator for all the power cuts we are having (Free from eishkom). We are definitely coming back, we felt right at home. It gives off class & is very aesthetically pleasing. 😁 I mentioned it was my partners birthday and they made sure to decorate the room without me opting for the birthday turn down package! Wow, talk them customer centric. 😍

The water was Luke warm but load shedding might have played a part in that, either that that everything was perfect.

I loved everything! From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, and everything else in between. I was celebrating my 30th and I was surprised by a “Happy birthday” made with flowers on the bed and some rose petals. Absolutely loved and appreciated that. The luxury penthouse that we booked is unbelievably beautiful and huge! It was like walking into paradise. My sisters and I were treated like Queens. The food was out of this world. If I could rate the entire experience 11/10 I would! I could go on about this hotel but I just won’t finish.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Love design of premises and spacious rooms. Real five star service. Room service was excellent and staff was very attentive. For me the Luxury Spa was just great esp the Infinity Pool. I spent the day thereafter a 9 day safari in Botswana (also wondeful) as mobile camping can be physically trying. So the day before my flight back to the US it was great to spend a day at the spa and the staff are also super friendly.

I thought the floor of the toilet in the spa could have been cleaner. Better swept.

Hotel Is beautiful interior and exterior , the neighbourhood is safe but no shops around which is not a big deal. The rooms are large. I stayed in a junior suite and this can fit a whole family and more. I was concerned about the toilet glass been see through but honestly it’s so frosted no one can see you when in the bathroom so you still have privacy .The hotel smells nice the service of the staff is 100/10 . Gym is big and nice , hotel is beautiful . it’s so big that i wasn’t able to explore all amenities.Please do not hesitate to book.

not enough plug sockets in the room, so bring a extension cord that is long in length. Load shedding happens but sometimes it takes like 2 minutes before the light get picks up by the generator . So sometimes you will be in the dark for 3 mins or less. nothing to worry about but that was the only shock

The staff was accommodating with special diet requests and early breakfast requests. The room was cleaned and the housekeeper was accommodating with last minute cleaning requests. The establishment exceeded expectations as compared to the pictures online.

Everything went well. There was nothing to complain about or not to like. The facility must be popular because I couldn’t get an upgrade because it was fully booked.

The staff and the room. Hotel facilities were good. The welcome anniversary message and bed set up was lovely and appreciated. Sejour was a lovely restaurant.

1. Guest Bathroom had fish moths 2. The tea/coffee facility in room was poor. The coffee machine didnt work. There were no sachets of coffee or even hot chocolate as an alternative. There were no cookies which is extremely common to have in hotel tea/coffee station within hotel room. For the pricing scheme compared with Fairlawns boutique hotel the hotel room facilities could be improved. 3. The shower water ran out of the shower. 4. he spa/sauna and steam room were not easy to access from the hotel. One would have liked a path that did not include walking past the restaurant.
