Very pretty place with lovely trees and really tastefully appointed. Very spacious and clean. It is situated two roads back from the main road so is quiet. It is close to all the restaurants and shops. Plenty of off road parking for cars and trailers. Self catering. perfect for a family of 4

It would be unfair to say that I did not like anything as the hosts have really thought of every detail. The cottage is ideal for a family and maybe 2 couples. 2 bedrooms. One with 2 single beds. Bathrooms separate

Lovely Location - so easy to walk to the cafes and shops and a pretty quaint street for an evening stroll.

We noticed that the window ledges above the main bed and in the bathroom had not been cleaned or dusted due to the number of dead insects up there, We only know this as we were in the process of swatting a fly. Also please can you supply a few more coffee mugs :)

I can’t actually put into words how perfect this gem of a place is. I have put off writing a review for weeks because I still feel a little speechless. We can’t WAIT to return, and to stay for longer than our original one night stay…I would love to spend a week here, just shutting off from the outside world and enjoying the serenity and calm that envelops you as soon as you arrive. Exquisitely decorated, with everyone one might need for a bit of ‘breathing space’. Prince Albert is magical, but the reason I want to come back so soon is to visit Elfen House again…thank you for a stunning stay.

From the moment we stepped into the property and i saw the Freda Khalo pics on the wall, it was clear that this property is going to be balm to all soul, emotion and all senses. Superbly decorated, superior linen, the closest to perfection in every respect. Our stay at this house, set a very high standard for all future s/catering selection.

Perfect for 2 couples on holiday. Spacious and well set up. Very comfy beds & super hot water. Battery backup worked well. Safe parking off street.

We felt like we were living on a building site. Very Dusty and the contractors starting work on 2 adj properties at 7h30am to 5h30pm. The house is very cold - thank goodness for the indoor aircon and fireplace.

Arriving in temperatures of 38 degrees C, we were looking forward to cooling off in the pool, but this was not possible as the pool pump were not working, and the water was full of leaves and insects.

Absolutely charming two bed-roomed cottage very close to town and all amenities. Nice and clean, very tastefully decorated, well designed, spacious, indoor log burner, lovely kitchen with everything you would need for self catering, fabulous little entertainment area with splash pool, barbecue, deck chairs and outdoor dining table. We really enjoyed our stay at Elfen house and would highly recommend this property to any tourists visiting Prince Albert!

Beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Very private. Would be delightful in the Summer.

More wood because it was freezing and there was absolutely none to be got in Prince Albert. Provide 1 bag and then charge for extra that is used. Dishwasher refused to work.

This place was absolutely perfect for our stopover on our way from Cape Town to Joburg but I actually wish we had a couple more nights there! It was so beautifully appointed, loved the pool and braai area and the beds were very comfortable. We cannot wait for our stay there in December!
