Breakfast buffet is relatively simple compared to hotels in other countries, but in addition, there are some Korean specific food that can be attractive to some people. The location is great. When you come from airports, you can go out of Exit 9 of Gongdeok station as there is an escalator going up directly to the backdoor of hotel. Exit 8 is just 20 meters away from the front door of the hotel but you will need an umbrella if there is heavy rain, and no escalator at Exit 8. Whereas there are some coffee shops and a Paris Baguette with some choices of salades down Exit 8 if you have a rush morning or want a light dinner.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. The restaurant on site is pretty good as far as food and value (sushi). For me the bar on property was legit, especially after a long day of exploring, it was nice to chill at a bar with friendly staff and good libations. Me? I have worked in the hospitality industry in both Las Vegas and Southern California. Also, the location was pretty central for me. It was my first time, so I ventured out a lot to the various neighborhoods of Seoul. I used the subway system a lot, and when I used the taxi, it was not that expensive (not more than $20). The hotel is situated in more of a business section of town. There are 'local' restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs in the area, Very rare that they speak English, so get your Korean language going.

yes,I like it it’s close up Gongdeok station exit 9 50m. you come here by AREX it’s connect Gongdeok station. but I choose a Limousine bus 6015. it will stop at Gongdeok station at bus stop between Shilla stay and Glad Mapo. it’s safety, cleaness, the staff service mind.

first I think the toilet have a bathtub. just a shower in my room type.

The location could not be better as it sits right above a central subway stop, one of which connects directly to the airport. The gym facility was clean and I would have used it more often if I had the time.

The only small downside is the elevator situation. With the lobby being on the 9th floor, rooms going up to almost 30 and the building containing companies as well 4 elevators just are not enough, especially since two of them only go up to the lobby. Sharing two elevators with almost 20 floors of people can take a lot of time during peak times.

Fantastic location, with the subway station immediately in front of the hotel entrance. Even before arrival, the front desk staff were very helpful with phone enquiries. The 7-11 located in the lobby was ideal for picking up any snacks and drinks. Room was clean and comfortable.

The bed only had one pillow per person.

there were guests in the next room that literally screaming and banging the walls and doors for more than an hour around midnight. we were very worried if anything has happened and for our safety too. we called the front desk 2 times without getting much of a reassurance or proper explanation/ resolve about the issue. this was a bit disappointing and worrisome

The hotel is in a great location next to the subway, there are lot of eateries around. The room was very spacious as we were in a suite. The room was very well designed and lot of storage, the bed was comfortable. The views were great. The ironing cupboard / steamer and sanitiser was a added plus. The housekeeping staff were amazing, it was great to come back to a clean room with nothing missed. The concierge was friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage before and after checkout.

There were only 1 tea bag ( Mint and Camomile) although there were two people in the room, there was no black tea. The front office staff were not very friendly or helpful just spoke from a script.

The hotel is in a good location as it is right beside a metro station and there are numerous restaurants located in close vicinity of the hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was not worth the cost.

We wanted to stay in that area, so the location was perfect for us. There is a metro station entrance right by the hotel, but be aware that for the really early train to the airport, that entrance remains locked, while other entrances to the station are open. It’s one of the taller buildings in that area, so you get fascinating views. Well appointed rooms. Ours even included an iron and ironing board. For those who want to get away from touristy restaurants, there are some terrific Korean restaurants in the back streets nearby,. The better ones do a good trade with locals, which is usually a good sign.

There are plenty of mains sockets in the room, but most are of a non-standard universal design which seem to work unreliably when using standard two or three pin plugs as used all over Korea and Europe. We plugged in items to recharge and they started changing, but in the morning had not charged. It became obvious what was wrong when we tried using the kettle. We couldn’t get it to work and then discovered that jiggling the mains plug got it working, but not for long. On a related topic, mains sockets were only on one side of the bed, no sockets at all anywhere near the other side. Not so good for couple who each have phones and iPads etc. Fortunately we use a multi-charger, but were let down by the intermittent mains sockets.

Perfect location, right by the airport train and subway. Beautiful modern and spacious rooms with really good amenities (we even had a dyson hair drier, humidifier and electric clothes drier in our room). Did I also mention the two separate and Japanese style luxury toilets in the room?

The only thing which I didn’t like but can be easily modified are the elevators. There are 5-6 elevators and for calling them, you have to press each of them separately which is just bothering. It’s not a big deal for most people but if you use them frequently over a few days it will bother you. Otherwise everything else was excellent!
