Novotel Suites Ambassador Seoul Yongsan

3 years ago you had a special lounge service for your guests in the Junior suites with free access and some drinks and snacks free of charge; I expected to get this service also this time, but it is not offered anymore; for that I was disappointed.

The room layout was a bit cramped but I love that we had a small pantry which came in handy. No cooking but there was a microwave to heat up food. It is connected by sheltered walkway to yongsan station where there are plenty of food choices plus shopping at ipark mall. It serves our needs well since we never had to get far for anything. Service staff at front desk and concierge were helpful with everything we need.

Housekeeping could be improved. there was tissue on the floor welcoming us as we enter our room. the next day an extra pillow cover was left on the sofa. A used towel was thrown into the laundry basket as well.

The room was relatively big and well designed. The bed and pillow were comfy. Two metro stations are walkable distance so that pretty easy to go to any places in Seoul and other cities by using trains.

It was my third stay. The condition of my room was disappointing this time. The curtain rail needs to be fixed as it was bent and the curtain was dragging on the floor. The sink in the bathroom was nearly clogged. Also I didn't satisfied with the room cleaning.

The deluxe suite was very large and clean. The deluxe suites are also on the top floors, so you'll get a nice view. I was on the 34th floor. The hotel also has a lot of restaurants and places to relax in the lobby area. They also have a video game area (PlayStation) and a casino on the lower level. The staff was very professional, and the room service food tasted great. This was my first time going to South Korea and they made me feel welcome. I will go to this hotel again.

Only the TV in the living room is allowed to connect to your smart phone to watch Netflix and other streaming apps. The TV in the bedroom area isn't allowed to connect to your phone. So you can only watch TV in Korean in the bedroom area.

the environment, convenience, cleanliness and staff. We utilized the gym and sauna. it was relaxing and the staff was so friendly. I don’t think the members were happy we were utilizing their sauna. They were very rude and unfriendly. We had breakfast every morning and even though there was a wait the staff was friendly, professional and worked quickly to accommodate all of us. I was super impressed with their process. We ate at the 25 restaurant and the food was superb and our waiter was professional and helpful! We ate on the first floor cafe and again the staff was friendly. My mom purchased jewelry and wanted something that wasn’t available at the store. The owners went out of their way to find what my mom was looking for and called her the next day. she purchased the item and became friends with the owners. They were so kind and even helped us figure out what bus to take on our trip. The check in and concierge staff, was professionalism, enthusiasm spoke multiple languages and provided top service. I was impressed! I have stayed in many hotels but this hotel has set their standards so high it will be tough for others to compare. I love Korea and when I come back Novotel is where we will stay. I can’t forget about my room! The view was amazing and the staff who clean our rooms were excellent.

My only recommendation would be to provide larger coffee cups or recyclable large cups. During breakfast we went back 3 times to fill up. That was an inconvenience to us. we had to wait in line each time. If our waiter took our plates, cups, we would get a new cup. This also requires your staff to clean more. Providing larger coffee cups would reduce the amount of time for both staff and guests.

A fantastic hotel with spacious rooms, great interior and nice beds. It was great that the room had a washing machine we could use. We absolutely loved the fitness center and the breakfast buffet. The hotel is next to Yongsan station which made navigating to other areas very easy. I recommend booking a room with city view, as it is very beautiful and better looking than the Han-river view from where the hotel is located. Inside Dragon City there's a CU convenience store, and the hotel has many more services and features such as an arcade and a casino. Very much recommend!

Nothing! The CU convenience store is somewhat difficult to find, so ask the staff to guide you to the correct place.

Not only was there a stunning view, but the room was comfortable, well arranged, and felt like a home away from home. But more luxurious. The kitchen was the best addition and the bathroom/closet was amazing as well. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the sofa. Connecting my own Prime and Netflix to the TV was easy

I loved this hotel and the suite was amazing. Extremely spacious, clean with great facilities. There was a lovely view and very close to a train station and huge shopping centre. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. A definite place I would stay again when back in South Korea!

The view from my room was just amazing, absolutely amazing. The room is also quite big I liked that.

The room was not very clean at all. The shower and sink were not very clean but also the furniture had many questionable stains on it

I wish the hotel guests obey the rules about nonsmoking rooms. And also I hope the hotel seeks the fundamental solution for other many nonsmoking guests. Spraying some air freshener is literally a mere temporary expedient.
