The location couldn’t be better! Staff were attentive and efficient. It’s the perfect place to be at in order to enjoy the spectacular old town and all the nearby restaurants and bars but away enough to not be in the hustle and noise of the late nights. There is no other hotel that has this beautiful position, by the river and 2 minutes walk from all the amazing things to see and do.

The common parts are a bit dead! Needs a great bar in the basement area where u can sit comfortably. Lightning all a bit bright in the evening so it lacks atmosphere. No ‘cool’ bar, as such, to sit at inside, if u don’t want to sit in the heat. The online pictures of the bar (in the breakfast/dining area)make it look attractive to hang out in but it’s not! Beds are a bit hard, and no options on pillows. Rooms are fine, if a bit bland.

The front of the hotel opens onto an avenue of banana trees whose branches have been painstakingly interwoven over many years. This provides a cooling shady walk beside the river to explore this delightful city. This is indeed a special place and well worth a visit. The hotel is right in the centre and there are bars and restaurants to suit all tastes within easy reach.

The bend in the ramp down to the car park will haunt you and ensure you stay regular! Fear not - having got down to the car park, the journey out is much less daunting.

The location is the best, 5 mins to every attraction and the cathedral. The room is nice, clean, spacious. The bathroom is well equipped and designed, with places to hang my laundry. The view overlooking the river is amazing.

The reception on the day we arrived was not quite helpful. He looked not quite friendly nor helpful. Only 1 staff was there and it might be that it was 26 Dec., so the service was not from 4 star hotel (no people to help with the luggage. Only 1 staff was there when we arrived). The parking was quite difficult to access. If you need a parking, make sure you could drive in a very narrow and wining path in the garage.

The loction of this hotel is amazing, a couple of minutes walk away from the cathedral and the main squares. We had a wonderful room, with views towards the historic centre. the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Hope to stay here again.

The car park, whilst spacious is not a lot of fun to drive in and out of. The staff did warn us about this but it did mean that, the tight turns in and out of the car park required a great deal of concentration to not damage the rental car.

Enjoyed our stay. Room comfortable though situated above the garage on the back. Disappointed advised car too large for parking though similar vehicles were parking. 5 minutes to other secure parking was manageable however. Location excellent. Staff very friendly. The lounge bar also very pleasant and staff good. Food was good too.

Nicely decorated, great location and pleasant staff. Didn't get to try the breakfast. Room service was prompt and nicely presented. All round I really enjoyed by stay.

The parking is a bit of an ordeal particularly in a big car. Getting back up is somewhat easier than getting down but this should be flagged. The aircon was questionable. Very weak and took a long time to cool ther room down.

The parking was not suitable for our large 4x4. Fortunately they had protected a lot of the walls with foam rubber so we did not scratch our car but it was very, very tight. There was no hand rail to aid entry & exit into bath/shower unit. A bit of maintenance in the shower area as shower head connection falling off. The bedside lamps need to be looked at as bulb falls out when you try to move them.

Very central location. Hotel is a little on the expensive side compared with others, but for the location and the facilities, still good value for money. A really large room, and bathroom, with lots of toiletries. Appreciated having conditioner, so many places only give you shampoo. Very clean. Fairly quiet - no street noise despite being so central (might be different at weekends!). Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is very expensive if not included in the room rate - 15 euros. There is a lot of choice, but I doubt anyone eats 15 euros worth. Local cafes do breakfast for 3-5 euros, but don't open until 9. I was there for work, so didn't have much choice but to eat breakfast in the hotel. Layout of the hotel, with all rooms opening on to one central area means you do hear if people come in talking late at night. It wasn't too bad on a week night, but weekends might be different.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Burgos. Lat year, we stayed in an apartment on the main square, which was also lovely, however I find it better to be near to the river: it's airier, you're still at the heart of the city, and somehow the layout of the city seems easier to understand from this end. I opted for a River View room and am very glad I did. The hotel itself is of the quality you'd expect. The room is immaculate, and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed having the large table, which we pushed closer to the window, so we could sit drinking coffee (there are good coffee machines), with the windows open and a nice breeze, enjoying that lovely view. Little touches like having a bath, robes and slippers, plus an excellent hairdryer, were very much appreciated. The staff were helpful and friendly. Thank you!

Clean and large room, housekeeping faultless. Bathroom very comfortable, a la italienne. Breakfast very good with freshly pressed juices, local tasty foods, broad range of pastry, bakery, and fresh fruit. Location unique: 200 m from the cathedral, patio of the lounge in front of the elegant paseo riverside. Fitness area at the5th floor, meeting area in a comfortable area at -1. Enjoyable and quiet hotel.
