The location was great. 10 minutes walk to the centre of Burgos. The room was good and clean with everything we needed and the bed was very big. But the best thing were the staff, really friendly and helpful. They looked after our luggage when we had checked out so that we could have a final walk around the city. I know that every hotel does that but they were so nice and a credit to the hotel. I would absolutely stay here again next time we come to Burgos.

The only negative thing was nothing to do with the hotel. We had a room looking onto the street and the rubbish bins there were emptied in the early hours with quite a lot of noise!

The check in staff member was excellent. He was very welcoming, and wet over and above to meet our needs, and those of our dogs, as did the check out lady too. The room was very comfortable, and the bed was massive and comfortable. There was even a dog bed, and treats for them in the room on arrival, which went down well! The parking was close by and we could unload by the door before parking.

We stayed for new year, and as it is a city there was a lot of noise outside, but that is to be expected on that particular night.! The hotel it self was great and we will be going back!

The hotel is located very close to the cathedral and the old town, it's good for sightseeing. The continental breakfast was very buffet style and there is a good choice. All staff members were very nice and helpful.

The pillows! It was like laying my head down on a rock. We stayed for two nights and when we left I had a very stiff neck. We could hear what sounded like furniture being moved around in the middle of he night so not a restful sleep.

Reception staff were excellent, the Room was a Junior Suite and was as expected, parking arrangements were good and secure.

The breakfast Buffet at 9 euros each was very disappointing, it was supposed to finish at 1000 and we arrived at 0930 to find that most of the Buffet contents were depleted to minimal levels and no-one looked as if they were going to replenish them., The Staff member in the Buffet area seemed more intent on clearing the remaining crockery, extremely noisily, the crashing and clattering was very intrusive. The coffee from the machine was frankly undrinkable, and we stopped later at a filling station for a decent cup.

We have stayed at Hotel Maria Luisa many times when in Burgos. Location is good and about a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral/Plaza Mayor area with many bars and restaurants. Best of all, the hotel has parking available (for a fee) in the car park across the street. A modest breakfast buffet is served at a reasonable price. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

There is nothing that occurs to me. It is a comfortable and familiar hotel to us.

we were on motorcycles. the hotel has parking under the street outside which is very secure snd free. if you come here be sure to walk down to the Cathedral and to the nearby street full of tapas bars. very cheap and excellent. a great stopover off the Santander ferry if heading to south of Spain

it hadn’t been refurbished for a few years but was still very nice, well-equipped and had atmosphere.

The breakfast was nice, good quality items and very nice breakfast room. However the experience was a bit ruined when the breakfast hostess went for a smoke outside and filled the room with cigarette stench. Otherwise it was a genuine smoke free hotel which is rare in Spain! Good parking facilities in the street outside, no need to pay 13 euros a day for the underground parking. Great location, walking distance to the tourist center but still a calm area. Good air conditioning but very noisy.

The hotel was lovely and our room very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We pre-booked parking for the motorbike and this was located very near to the hotel.

It was a good 15 minute walk to the cathedral and cafes / restaurants but there are plenty of shops along the way to look at.

The hotel was easy to find and we managed to park on the street, which was free due to a bank holiday. We only used the room for one night, but it would have been a good place to stay a little longer. The hotel rooms are pleasantly decorated and comfortable. The old city is a short walk away. We enjoyed a great buffet breakfast.

good central location. staff were fantastic. junior suite was huge. secure parking.
