Hotel Corona de Castilla Burgos

2nd vist here front office staff really lovely and pleasant rooms very nice Hotel walls are covered in amazing art,worth taking some time to walk the corridors !!We like this hotel so we will be back again thanks to all.

Breakfast was poor enough,we were an hour before breakfast closing,and there was no eggs,no bread for toast ,1 man spent most of his time setting up tables and clearing away,even though the food was running out,staff may be the issue here what we had was adequate. No parking was available at hotel as it was full up but were directed to Catheral public parking under ground which is close by and cheaper than hotel parking by €5!!!

Traditional style hotel, comfy room. Last visited it 20years ago. Modernised, clean, underground parking onsite. Only 12€, well worth it. Excellent breakfasts. Very convenient for a short walk to the cathedral and main restaurant and bar area. The cathedral is amazing, including many impressive features, including the tombstone of El Cid and Doña Ximena. If you want olive oil and various local food and wine products there's a great shop a few yards away

Only thing was the water pressure was so powerful that the shower flipped off the wall and and snaked about, causing great mirth.

Only there one night heading for Bilbao no complaints.Had to use the municipal car park as there was no spaces in the hotels car park. Been to Burgos before,love the place has a good vibe and much cooler than southern Spain where we had just left,the hotel is very central and close to the cathedral.

The air conditioning in the bedroom for us was too warm. The system provides either heating or cooling but not both at the same time. The system for the heating or cooling mode is central. i.e. at temperature change over periods in the spring or autumn the system for providing either cooling or heating is dictated by the hotel. At the time of our visit many guests wanted heating but we wanted a cooler bedroom. The solution was to turn off the air conditioning (which was only providing heating) and to open the bedroom window. Apart from that small problem all was good for our stay.

Efficient and friendly staff. Nice room. Secure parking. Very good quality and good value dinner and lots of choice for breakfast.

Busy road outside means stopping car to unload cases is a bit tricky. A small lay-by would be ideal but not really feasible in that location

The hotel is central with bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has underground parking but thought it a little pricey at €15 a night. Dinner was available at €20 but I declined this offer. Breakfast was really good with bacon, eggs from the hot plate their was also a lot of selection of breads, cakes fresh fruit and yogurts and fruit juice coffee and tea.

The location was perfect to all attractions and walking distance to restaurants and bars.Buffet breakfast was great value and lots of choice.Staff were lovely and car parking was underground and not expensive but safe and secure.recommend pulling in in front of hotel check in and then park car! Rooms very clean and comfortable

The property was in a good location. close to the cathedral, restaurants, shopping.

The breakfast service was not good. They combined a tour group with the regular gusset so you could not get near the coffee machine, and they ran out of food. I don’t like lining up for breakfast.

Location was brilliant short walk to the main town. Room was very clean & comfortable. Parking was excellent. The lady on reception was extremely friendly & helpful she’s a credit to the hotel .

This hotel is as much an art gallery as a hotel. A oaks of art deck. Rooms are of comfortable size and quality. I'd call this a tourist hotel in quality 3 stars. It is the location that is 4 stars.. our room looked nothing like the photo.
