The hotel is a block a way from the beach. In front of the hotel there is a bus stop from/to airport and Palma. The Palma Aquarium is 400m from the hotel. Clean and comfortable room. The balcony overlooked the beach and pool area. The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were descent with a huge variety of meals. The highlight in the restaurant was Esther, who look after the grill. The staff was very kind, friendly and helpful. Here I would like to highlight Carmen, the room maid. We got 2 bottles of water every day.

Overall very happy, but would have preferred a room with a walk-in shower, as in previous years. rather than a bath with a panel which was not flush to the lip. Thus, when taking a shower, water flowed onto floor. Stepping in and out of the bath with such a wide panel was also in my opinion, somewhat awkward. Room Number was 601. I would also mention that the wash hand basin was slow to drain water away. May need unblocked.

The chef preparing the eggs fresh is the best part of the hotel experience and the most iconic symbol in Java hotel. She works hard and deserve the best! The breakfast was good, dinner I didn't have much choice for meats. Hotel bar is reasonable ok and location is near the airport.

AC wasn't working, not much water pressure in the shower and pillows are too flat and thin. Overall the staff is excellent but the night shift reception is a bit mood.

really lovely views from the 8th floor sea view rooms. The staff were attentive and lovely and every day the cleaner always said hello to us. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had anywhere, from continental to fried eggs everything was high quality. Really great to see non dairy milk options, as a lactose intolerant it’s hard abroad to find dairy free products. The ‘egg’ lady was the best and made us smile every morning, and the free cava well that set us up for the day.

no night food options sadly, not even a vending machine and the shops in the local area didn’t stay open that late, a small thing but when you can’t drink tap water would been nice to grab a bottle of water at night when we ran out but we could have prepared better.

Proximity of the airport and the beach. Friendly and attentive staff, nice and very comfortable bed. A good looking swimming pool, which we didn't try out, as it was late october. Very convenient for early departures from the airport. I wish we could stay longer.

Poor breakfast choice (a toast and some salami, tea/coffee), nobody was in the kitchen at 5am, which is obvious, and we understand, as we had to leave very early before the official breakfast hours. This is just a remark, not a complaint, it would simply be nice to be able to use at least a toaster... At least we could grab something to eat.

The breakfast was great! The reception, breakfast and pool bar staff were very helpful and very nice. Loved the live music by the pool. The other guests were respectful. I had a wonderful and relaxing time.

I've visited this hotel four times now, as a couple, a group of friends and with my daughter and it remains consistently excellent. Spotlessly clean, felt very safe, staff are friendly but professional. Food is delicious. Location is perfect.

The pool is smaller than some hotels. The sun loungers tend to get quite busy and people do reserve their lounger despite signs but this is no fault of the hotel. The restaurant can get a little busy on an evening but we adjusted the time we went to avoid the busy times. To be fair it's a excellent hotel and these points are all minor and certainly wouldn't put me off recommending or visiting against.

This was our second time staying in the BG Java, we enjoyed our stay both times. Rooms were clean, breakfast was varied and good, the bar has a nice variety of drinks, there is live music shows in the evenings, many sun-beds by the pool. It was very quiet to sleep at night. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, to get around easily.

The smell of the cigarette smoke in the room, was disgusting and constant. Neighboring guests smoked cigarettes (a lot!) so the smell carried into our room (and to the corridor). I opened the balcony door to ventilate the room. The air conditioning would have helped to change the air in the room but they couldn't be used (I asked the staff).

Quick and efficient check in at reception. We requested a lower floor room and had one of the premium rooms with a terrace which was lovely. Pool area and the upper desk was great - pool bar great for chilling and having a glass of something or even a snack at lunchtime. Great day beds for relaxing!

An observation rather than a dislike, it would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room; Surprised that you had to pay for the use of a safe, most hotels usually supply this as standard - also security deposit for pool towels, again most 4 star hotels supply them - not a show stopper though!

- The cleaning ladies took a white t-shirt from the room (by mistake, it probably got mixed with the sheets), and we asked for it but they never found it - There was no drink included at dinner, not even water
