The facilities, location, amazing staff, cleanliness of the hotel, comfortable beds & pillows and half-board buffets, made it and enjoyable and happy stay.

Some suggestions to make it an exceptional stay for families: 1) allow families with young children to dine at meal times 30 mins to an hour earlier. For example dinner at 6 or 6:30pm. I noticed many tired and upset young children at dinner time, incl. my own. 2) the variety of food/meals are good but there could be more. Include berries in your fruit offering, I was surprised to only see strawberries when used as a garnish for dessert dishes. Provide courtesy water at dinner like at breakfast. 3) A natural wood playground in the corner of the garden in the shade would be an amazing addition.

Almost all.. the staff was fantastic. Always with a smile and always trying to attend all our requests. Food was great, with different things all days. The room was spacious clean and specially comfortable. It's not a front line hotel but very close to the beach. The swimming pool and pool bar is also good.

just minor details: - no kids club and no activities for kids.. no animation after dinner.. - mosquitos everywhere!!! (not so much in the hotel but be careful. do not open your windows and be prepared if you stay at the pool on the sunset... )

Firstly, I have to sum up, that - after changing the room after one night - I had a perfect experience that left nothing to be desired. Staff at reception, room cleaning, restaurant, are all very motivated, are multilingual, very helpful and diligent. Excellent! Food in restaurant, both for breakfast and for dinner, had lots of variation and the quality was good. Pools are clean and big, there was always the possibility to find a vacant deck chair and the audience of this hotel was a mix of families and couples, many Germans, French, Swedish, but also a few British and spanish-speaking groups. Everyone was in a good mood, you saw many smiling faces. Restaurant atmosphere is rather busy and loud. Families will enjoy it. Couples who want a romantic and quiet candlelight dinner should look elsewhere though. The location near the pier at Playa de Muro is nothing but perfect. You can be at the beach in 3 Minutes on foot in order to watch the sunrise and then go back to bed. Parking situation is not optimal but is manageable Two more pieces of advice: The floor can be quite slippery between semiolympic pool and lobby as well as near the "Lifeguard" and the shower at the family pool. Be careful to keep your bones intact! Nobody wants to spend his holiday in the hospital. Pool Hours are 8-20h, so if you are the type who wants to have a 6:30 swim before breakfast, you might be disappointed.

We had booked a Standard Suite and got room 107, which was on ground floor, looking at a strip of grass and a wall. The AC was noisy and the room had seen its best days in the distant past. The Room had some weird smell which I guess comes from the Semi Olympic Pool Maintenance Hatch just in front of the room. Both me and the friendly danish lady from room 108 went to the reception in order to change the room and we both upgraded to a Premium Suite. Best decision ever. The Premium Suites are flawless, have a spectacular view and from this moment on, my holiday was perfect. Room Number recommendations: 521-529, 421-429 view to the west, overlooking the family pool and the island.

My family had a wonderful stay at Hotel Gaviotas! The staff were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure guests had a great experience. The room was modern, clean, comfortable, and I loved the huge balcony! The food (breakfast and dinner buffet) were delicious. Actually, we did not really find tasty or enjoyable restaurants nearby, so the hotel food was the best experience we had. The pools were gorgeous, the family pool was great for kids, and the water temperature was refreshing and comfortable. The location, just 3 minutes walking to the beach, was perfect! I would definitely stay here again!

We used the small gym there and I would have expected a fancier and more equipped gym, but it was still enough.

A fantastic option for a relaxing stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to the beach, there's a number of pool options on site, a couple of bars, great breakfast included and dinner available - which is better than many of the nearby restaurants! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and include a balcony. We wanted a relaxing family break and it was perfect.

No complaint of ours but perhaps a word of caution for certain travelers: if you are young and looking to party, you might want to consider a different part of the island.

The rooms were quite large and well equipped. The pool area was very pleasant - enough sunbeds and a nice bar/bistro by the pool. Roughly 5 minutes walk to the beach. Overall very clean and tidy. Good location. Breakfast and dinner buffet was within expectations - good local and international mix of meals.

The dining room is cafeteria-like and quite noisy - the meat at dinner was mostly tough and over cooked - seafood and fish was OK. The lobby is pale and uninviting. The air conditioning in the room was not very efficient and the gym was poorly equipped. Barely any entertainment in the evening. The staff wasn't really helpful in managing our transportation request to the airport - they weren't able to book a taxi on time.

Great hotel , the food was very good and the pool areas were perfect , a lane swimming pool was a real bonus. The Spa and gym were a welcome addition but needed updating and perhaps a little more equipment but overall apart from a few areas needing a refurb in the rooms and certain areas the hotel was very good. The staff were all brilliant and very friendly . the location is perfect for getting to the beach or straight out to the restaurants and bars

Some rooms need updating and there are some areas needing paint and maintenance, a little more gym equipment would be good and the spa wasn't all functioning but still good overall.

The food was great! The staff was very accommodating, and so nice. The rooms are great (we stayed at both suites and family rooms) although they would benefit for wider blackout curtains. family rooms a very comfortable but would benefit from a better distribution of air conditioning as one of the rooms, doesn’t get cold at all from the air conditioning. The spa services were 5 stars. Even though it’s not a family hotel, it is a very family friendly hotel.

One of the rooms was not easily cool by the air conditioning. Curtains can be wider.

Amazing hotel with spacious rooms, 2 swimming pools, abundant breakfasts and very welcoming staff. We tried dinner once and it was also excellent . On-site bar has good selection of wine and perfectly made cocktails and other drinks.

The only thing that spoiled the impression a little is that they refuse to provide water bottles in the room and insist on bying them. Given the price and overall very hospitable experience this was a bit weird.
