Lovely room ,comfortable and great location for access to Grsn Via, Sol, Palace and metro.

Disappointed that pool small ,not relaxing area at all.Cramped converted into bar in evening with movable floor.

The rooftop pool was nice , and the terrace above with great views over Madrid central was an added bonus and nice to sunbathe for an hour or so. The hotel was clean and reception staff attentive and very helpful. They allowed us to check in early which was much appreciated at the expense of adjoining rooms but we did not mind that at all. The hotel is in the middle of all the action in central Madrid (it seems) with good shopping, bars, plenty of restaurants and access via multiple metro stations very close by. Very quck and easy to walk to the major attractions in central Madrid.

The access to the terrace in the evenings was conditional on buying drinks from the hotel.

I like being in the middle of the action and watching people rushing in the square in front of the Hotel and going to the El Día supermarked. I had a good view from my room and enjoyed watching life outside. The room has nice furnitures, the two comfortable chairs and a small table at the big window was just perferct to sit and sip a coffee and enjoy the view over the Santo Domingo square. But, strangely they don´t offer milk in small units with the coffee or coffee creamer powder as in ALL hotels I have stayed in for the last 20 years I think. And when I rang to the front desk to ask for it I was told that the milk was finished!? Strange. But in the end, after several calls a nice staff member just brought me a whole liter of whole milk to keep in my refrigerator. That was the milk I used the next 3 days as the small units milk or the creamer powder never was supplied. I did not use the pool on the top floor as I forgot bathing suit and was just to busy, but I went up there and had one beer outside and saw that there was a lot of people enjoying sunbathing on the rooftop or cooling down in the swimming pool. Enjoying. The breakfast was nothing special so I only had breakfast once at the hotel. The breakfast room does not offer a view to the street which is something I like and the variety of food was not so good. I liked the mega-shower. You can choose between variety of currents and choose between different lights coming from the shower head.

The breakfast buffet was nothing special and rather dark breakfast room. Not very attractive. No milk or coffee creamer powder for the coffee which is no problem for most people I suppose but I am the coffee creamer woman I can´t drink black coffee.

The hotel is very central and you will reach the main street for tourists in a few steps. There is a subway-station just next to it, so it's easy to travel from it. The beds are very comfortable. The rooftop has a great view and the pool on top is really nice. A very comfortable hotel and the prize is low for the standard that you get. I'll recommend it, especially for being very central in Madrid.

I would have liked to get a bathrobe, which is comfortable when you walk to the pool and after. I find it strange that a luxury hotel doesn't have any?

The hotel's location was perfect- right in the centre of the city, but away from all major tourist traps. Right next to a metro station and one of the 'main roads' of shops/ attractions. All common tourist attractions were in a short walk/ train ride away which was perfect. The hotel even had a pool and rooftop bar which was great to use.

The walls were very thin- I could hear people walking past the room at night (even though they were only talking at a normal volume). One side of the hotel is also noticeably older/ more run down than the other; our other guests were in this side of the hotel and it didnt feel as welcoming as the other half I was staying in

Nice basic room with comfortable bed. Located in the very city center just 1min walk from Gran Via (main street) and Callao. The hotel building is located just next to a metro entrance which was super convenient. A grocery store was located just on the other side of the street. I did not use breakfast options so cannot judge here.

Hair dryer in my room (213) was so loud that I am sure it could wake up all neighbours (simple device but needs replacing!). Wifi was slow.

Central location to everywhere... Great rooftop area to relax and take in the views . Staff were very friendly and were helpful to us. Good breakfast every day... Very good cleaning staff, room always done well when we had breakfast or when we had been out.

Slightly dark room, but obviously quieter being near the gardens. 420... The only annoying bit but not worth changing rooms really was the shower kept falling as not firm enough ...it had been sort of repaired.. And one unclean area needs a clean is by the other side of the shower screen on the bath ..

The hotel was very comfortable, nice views friendly and helpful staff. Lovely spacious room and very comfortable bed and not noisy at all. Our room had a balcony with a good view. Great location with plenty of restaurants and cafe/bars to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of Madrid. There's a roof terrace with a restaurant and also a small swimming pool.

Just a small quibble the self service coffee in the lobby is a Starbucks machine. Pity it's not a Spanish coffee or a better quality. I would expect a better name than Starbucks for this class hotel

The location was very central around the corner to Gran Via, which is main shopping / Tourist area, and just a few mins walk off that to all the squares. The hotel itself is very nice to look at. The staff were were amazing and could not do enough for us. Reception amazing and had a little cafe. There is a rooftop bar with a pool, but pool were not open when we were there. Drink a bit expensive, but I suppose it is 4 stars, and that's what you pay.. room was clean and had ensuite a mini fridge and hairdryer but was very small and dark as we were looking out at their hanging garden. There was a supermarket just beside hotel which had a lovely bakery which you could get pastries in morning if you were room only basis. There was a few cafes also across the road that did breakfasts

Although nothing wrong with room they are very dark and the ones in the back are very small. would advise to pick a room with a view and pay a bit more. There was no kettle in the room which I would of liked as we went room only basis. Also I would bring my own hairdryer as the one in bathroom not great

Great location for sightseeing, almost in the center. Nice and wide variety of breakfast. The sky bar was always full but for a drink there is always have a chance.

Actually the pool is under the ground of the sky bar so out of order. It wasn’t so clear to me when I made my booking. The photos showed me a nice possibility to swim with a great view. This was disappointing to me.
