The hotel was situated next to the Yumbo and about 20 mins from the beach. The rooms were clean, a little dated but very comfortable. Blackout curtains and a comfortable bed gave me the best sleep. Pool was very good loads of beds and beds in the pool as well. Restaurant bar has lunch and drinks. This hotel was probably one of the best I have stayed in Gran Canaria, staff were friendly and even let me check in a bit early as the room was ready. I recommend a pool view as you get the sun late in the evening on the balcony and it’s nice to be able to see if the beds are filling up before you come down. Will be coming back here on my next solo GC trip

My room was at the far end of this massive hotel and it was a long walk from the main entrance and reception. I didn’t find a shortcut to the pool although there may have been one. I guess if you have mobility issues then request a closer room

The property is set In an excellent place, close to all amenities. Its stylish, very welcoming. It’s very clean too and I felt safe, especially when this my first solo holiday as a women. All the staff are friendly and always greet you with a smile. It is a very big complex and took a while to get to my room, but I didn’t mind that. The room was big and spacious and I had a view onto the road. The road noise didn’t affect my sleeping at all. Furniture in room is dated but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Fridge wasn’t very cold, this is just a minor. All in all I was very impressed with the hotel and glad I choose to stay here. I would definitely be back. The food was amazing, great variety and selection. I’m addicted to papaya now. There was always plenty beds available at poolside and also umbrellas too.

Maybe just needing a upgrade in the rooms but nothing else really. Only thing I didn’t like was the bacon, wasn’t quite what I’m used to, was sometimes too crispy too. All in all I was very happy with my choice and value for money location and my safety

The breakfast was OK. Sometimes big queue for toast. No chance for omelette or anything specific apart from the food set out. The staff were super friendly and couldn’’t work harder. Reception staff brilliant too. Room service very efficient and I love the flexibility and informality of this hotel.

I would like to be able to make charges to the room and settle at the end of the stay. The reception area is rather basic and not so comfortable. The evening music is extremely loud. The safe charge is a bit mean. I would prefer soap and proper shampoo in the bedrooms rather than containers.

The food at this hotel was nothing short of spectacular, with an extensive range of dishes that catered to every taste. I must extend a heartfelt thank you to the talented chef who clearly takes great pride in their work and served up some truly amazing meals. The hotel's location is simply perfect, providing easy access to all the nearby attractions. The pool and bar were also exceptional, providing a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for guests to unwind and soak up the sun. I recommend this hotel to anyone, whether you're traveling for business or pleasure.

Localization of this hotel is just perfect - very close to Yumbo CC but also in second row, so you can't hear the noises from parties. Breakfast were amazing, very various dishes, always very fresh and constantly replenished, lot of fruits and sweets as well. Room was very spacious, with bath and balcony. Far and air condition was available. Cleaning was every day in time comfortable for you. Employers were super helpful, always smiling and speaking very good English. Hope to back there very soon!

Don Miguel hotel was beautiful, the room was excellent so comfortable. Restaurant is very good so much variety and quality food always so beautiful my meals were amazing and dessert well I was so impressed some real tasty desserts Reception great always greeted and acknowledged you as a guest Cleaning just amazing spotless a bathroom perfect bath tub shower so clean I loved the hotel and would return again with no hesitation perfect hotel

Having to leave to come home I regret not staying longer but had to return home for personal commitments

The pool area and food and drink provision were very good and good value. Charming staff. Spacious and nice customers. The breakfasts are very good and suitable for all nationalities.

Illogical arrangement of breakfast items. You had to walk a long way to find items or cutlery. Eg cold milk a long way from tea and coffee, no bowls near yoghurt, only plates, a struggle to find cutlery. Many diners milling around also walking a long way. Perhaps reorganisation could help here. Very nice waiters however!

proximity to the yumbo centre. the hotel was clean and facilities were good. food was also good. bar food was reasonably priced. the pool area was lovely and very relaxing.

my do not disturb sign kept getting blown off the door so would been woken up by a knock on the door every morning around 8.30. I don’t need to be awake that early on holiday! the rooms are a bit dated, but still clean and functional. the pool was a bit too cold for my liking.

Great value for money. Breakfast was perfect - everything available. Pool lovely and quiet. No 'reserving of sun-beds. We had a lovely and spacious two bedroom stay. The cleaning staff were meticulous. Lots of towels provided. All of the staff were so courteous and friendly - genuinely wanting you to enjoy your time there. Yeah, I'd go back to Don Miguel

The only minor point was no tea-making facilities in the room

Breakfast was really and it is located near to Yumbo center, staff was super friendly, we asked for a late check out that was possible until 17:00 for a small extra payment. Maybe the room is a bit old fashioned but the price value with the room was perfect, if you want a luxury room you can book another hotel but the prices are double, at the end you only need the room to rest :-)

Maybe good for the organisation that if you send a question true booking website that they come back or reply on that question but as mentioned above at the end it was solved at arrival.
