Teresa was excellent - cleaning tables and preparing tables. Very alert. Excellent customer service.

Notice of events at the bar was poor. Also, communication of your 10% food offer which didn't apply to bar downstairs or the Lemon Bar. Poor, very poor.

The pool was fab. And breakfast was good. Lovely comfy bed and nice room once I moved from the other building

I had to spend 2 nights in the other building and room very small and not nearly as good as hotel room. Not enough staff around pool and no restrictions on non guests using facilities

On arrival we was greeted by the reception team who were wonderful and very friendly and welcoming ,arrived early but only had to wait 20 minutes for our room,we had a drink while we waited at the terrace bar and have to say how beautifully decorated and clean the hotel was,the bar staff were very attentive and friendly,We collected our keys and went to our room which was tastefully decorated very clean and lovely neutral pastel colour with mouldings on the walls and a lovely wooden white ceiling with beams across the length of the room,bathroom with big glass shower and white moulded sink with plenty of space,wardrobe space was sufficient for all our clothes with ironing board and iron. The breakfast lounge was out of this world with wonderful views across the bay and the calm sea views and inside seating area was of a high standard with a wide and wonderful choice of breakfast from hot to cold and a great selection of fresh fruit and tasteful yogurt selections and fresh juices ,wide healthy nut and dried fruits selections and array of sweet pastries,fantastic selection of cold meats and cheeses and fantastic fresh cooked breakfast. The Staff from the cleaners to the reception team to the waiting staff mornings/afternoon/and evening were all very welcoming ,attentive and nothing was to much trouble always smiling and were extremely hardworking. The ambiance of the hotel was one of calming and welcoming and joyful. The Swimming pool was excellent and unique jutting out into the sea was unbelievable with fantastic views across the whole of the bay with the mountains framing the backdrop from the pine walk to the boats in the bay.

The only complaint which is not the hotel fault but we were in room 412 at the back of the hotel 4th floor and me and my wife don’t like sleeping with the air conditioning on and much rather the fresh night air circulating in the room ,but for some unknown reason the local council seems to think it’s a great idea for bin and glass collection should be at 4am in the morning,surely being a tourist resort you would think the between 7-8 am would be much more appropriate.

Hard to fault

Location was great - right on the seafront. Room was small but the bed was large and the big window overlooking the patio was great - made up for the small room. The bathroom was lovely, the shower could have been more powerful if I'm being picky. The breakfast was very varied and new things each day. Lovely to sit on the balcony for breakfast. The pool and the bar were fantastic - what a location.

The hot tub wasn't easy to use with the taps being trapped in by the neighbour screen and you had to stand in the hot tub to get to the controls! The tap at the bottom was also a bit broken so all the water escaped the first night! But it was a nice touch to have that on the patio. The front desk team weren't that welcoming when we arrived but one of the women was very friendly throughout the stay as were the bar team. We didn't drink in the outdoor bar as the jumbrellas were so dark it was like sitting with the lights off - and other places were more welcoming. The pool bar was great though

I really enjoyed this hotel. The building itself is quite old but well maintained. It’s right on the promenade and some rooms come with the seaview. The rooms are clean, have a kettle, TV. Breakfast is really good with a live cooking station. Very helpful and kind staff. I would defo book with them again.

No dedicated parking. Need to find a place in the street. It’s free but it’s difficult to find a free spot. It’s a problem in general in Mallorca.

The Hotel is in a fantastic location overlooking the sea and harbour. The art deco decor was stunning especially in the lounge bar and restaurant areas. The lemon bar around the pool is a wonderful area to relax especially at night when the live music is playing there’s a great atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a penthouse room with spa pool and as it was the corner room not only were the views amazing the balcony was huge.

On our first night we had a double room on the first floor the room had high ceilings and was spacious with plenty of storage , however for the remainder of our stay we moved to the penthouse room where the room was tiny with very little storage compared to the basic double room. The spa pool was great and as we used it every evening, however be aware there are no chemicals in the water and it doesn’t keep the water hot like a normal hot tub. We just filled it with the hot tap used it that evening and emptied it the following morning and so on. It takes over an hour to fill so it was a little annoying but definitely worth having.

Breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of variety. Loved the omelettes made fresh in front. Our room was a penthouse with the biggest and best balcony in Mallorca - with the best view I have ever seen! I chose this hotel and this room with this view as this was where I wanted to propose to my (now) fiancé! And the staff were so accommodating, helpful, supportive and congratulatory once we shared with them our news! They honestly could not have done more for us - especially Joaquin who went above and beyond to ensure everything was right for me. Thank you Joaquin and the rest of the team.

The website stated dinner with a la carte menu which does not appear to still be the case. Which is a shame as the dining area with the terrace where breakfast is served would be a perfect setting for this.

The Daina is nearly perfect for cycling or other leisure groups. We stayed here with our bike team and everyone loved it. Clean, elegant, lovely, friendly staff, and an incredible spread for breakfast. It is central and on the sea, near the harbor, in Port de Pollença. This is a great location to access great cycling and sightseeing. It is the jewel of the hotels in the area, yet there are reasonable prices on most rooms. We paid for a side sea room and were upgraded for free to a huge, side sea view suite! We loved it. Our friend had a single room in the converted apartments across the street and it was huge and had a kitchen! The cycling garage is across the street from the main hotel, but is secure and easy to access. In the bike garage is a washing machine, a bottled water dispenser, hooks/locks for hanging bikes, and a little hose to spray off bikes after rides.

I deducted one star for beds and pillows that are a bit too firm (although you can get different pillows, according to your taste, at the front desk—I kept forgetting). If the bed was super comfy, it would literally be 10/10!!

Staff - so courteous, attentive and friendly.

Shower. The shower door failed to stop water leaking out onto the bathroom floor which was always to wet for the foot towel to cope with. A drip strip was needed at the bottom of the glass door. Also, the shower included a waterfall over head shower along with a wall strip mounted removable handheld device. The handheld one kept slipping out and dropping onto the floor. It failed to stay in place and on more than one occasion almost landed on our feet which would have been terribly painful. And needless to say puts the shower head and tiles at risk of damage.
