Great location - pedestrianised street so no road noise, but easy walk from the taxi that dropped us off. Perfect for exploring the joys of central Palma. Cool decor and trendy rooms.

The bathrooms are part of the bedrooms, so no privacy for noise or smell (!!!). Going to the toilet was awkward with my husband in the room and vice versa. No restaurant (it appeared to have one, but not open in August?!) and breakfast is provided by a restaurant down the street, which was ok, but not fantastic.

I always stay here it's a great property and staff are fabulous and rooms are cleaned daily to an excellent condition.

my only gripe was that I asked for a cocktail each evening and they hadn't any tomato juice. consideration may be if a customer continually asks for something then maybe grab a carton of Tomato juice and even mention to the customer they could grab one and you would be happy to make the cocktail since all the other ingredients is available

The hotel is located just a short walk from all that Puerto de Pollenca has to offer. We were welcomed by a most friendly hotel receptionist. We asked for additional pillows and they were supplied within a matter of minutes. Our room was bijou but big enough for our needs with excellent air conditioning. My wife was happy with the full length mirror in the bedroom and particularly with the nearby electric sockets which allowed her to use hair straighteners. I, on the other hand, was happy to use the surprisingly spacious en-suite bathroom to polish my pate. The hotel was quiet and we enjoyed a good night's sleep (one night stay).

We did not come across anything we disliked.

Superb location, within easy walking distance ( 2 minutes) of the marina, port, ferry, beach and all bars & restaurants. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed on 4th floor with our own roof terrace which was great and VERY hot! There is also a large jacuzzi on the roof area for all guests. The room was nice, with a very comfortable bed, and kept very clean. The room (401) was smaller than expected and would benefit from some extra power sockets in convenient locations and more clothes storage. We took the ferry to Formentor (30 mins) which was a lovely way to spend half a day. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel ( small buffet ) as there are many other places (within 100 metres) to choose from with a wide selection available. This is a really great hotel in a prefect location for a short stay in the beautiful Port de Pollenca.

on arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady called Maria who informed us she has only been working there 4 days. Maria was superb and recommended places to eat and wash our clothes. she was very helpful and an asset to the hotel. Maria was very bubbly and friendly. beds were very comfortable and rooms were big enough for us to keep our bikes in the room. hotel was very cycling friendly. a good breakfast on offer that you can purchase every day for 9€ each.

we were on the 1st floor just above the reception where sound travelled.

The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The room was kept in pristine cleanliness. They very generously replenish the mini bar each day - for no charge - which means you are never without water and in 38degrees of heat(average) this is brilliant. The cocktails were exceptional and the welcome glass of Cava was an added bonus.

Two slight downside for me. Pillows - I just couldn't use them, I guess we just get used to our own pillows and it is a reminder to me to take my own next time I travel. Noisy - My room overlooked the street with the bars and it was really quite noisy - however it was just people having fun and a fellow resident gave me a pair of earplugs which worked a treat - so another note - bring earplugs next time!!

The reception smelled exquisite when you went through the doors and the Aircon that greeted you was so welcoming... speaking of welcoming - the reception staff were super friendly and couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. The hotel it's self has just 20 guest rooms which makes it feel so personable. There is a media room on one of the floors which is cool - although we never used it but had a look round. There was a hottu /jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace with some seating, a cpl of sun loungers and a shower (which you must use before getting in the jacuzzi), then the hotel has a bar which is used for breakfast in the morning and open to anyone in the evening. I believe the bar prices to be some of the most reasonable around. The location is excellent. If you are aware of Puerto Pollenca and are aware of the Hotel Daina - Mar Calma is of the row of buildings behind there - so literally one street away from the main front of bars and restaurants but without that hussle and bustle. The side of the hote - the bar entrance, is on the little street that leads to the square which had literally finished being refurbished whilst we were there, and is looking fine. We hired a car for the week and literally used it twice, as there was really no need to. We thought we'd have driven about a little more than we did, but we stayed in such a great location with excellent choices of restaurants, bars and if you felt that way inclined, SPAR ships for a fresh baguette - there was no need to hire. If course we drove to the airport and back, visited nearby Cala St. Vincent, and went to Alcudia one evening - but we could easily have not done those things to make it a much cheaper time! Car hire is horrendously expensive these days. Back to the hotel and the rooms were really quiet - were soundproofed, and only a few rooms per floor - maybe 5 rooms. So only those on your floor would walk outside your room because there was a lift to each floor.

Just a minor minor point... I suffer with joint aches and fibromyalgia so the bed was a little harder than mine at home (for me) - my husband was fine! I used the duvet/comforter that was in the wardrobe as a mattress topper which helped a little.

Clean, well maintained with all usual features (TV, fridge, safe). Welcoming and helpful staff. Super central location - right next to the beach and all cafes, 5 min walk from the bus stop. Price was very competitive.

The room was facing in the space between the buildings and all the roofs and in the evening there was some mild humming noise (AC or extraction fans on the roof probably). But while noticeable it was not a massive problem and did not affect my sleep!

The hotel was spotlessly clean. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, efficient and effective. The room service and maid facility was carried out with minimum intrusion and attended to every day. The reception staff both day and night could not have been more helpful and the assistance given us was par excellence .

There was nothing to dislike !

great location in the middle of port de pollensa, beautiful modern rooms, lovely roof terrace with little pool, staff wonderful and helpful, very friendly and welcoming.

the beds were a bit uncomfortable, and because of the central location our room overlooked some busy and loud bars - so sleep wasn’t the greatest. but the bars nearby are great for cocktails etc really couldn’t be better location if you like a bit of nightlife.
