We are extremely impressed by the hotel. The location is excellent and we had an amazingly beautiful view of the sea from the terrace. We parked our car very easily every day no matter what time we got back home. The hotel itself is a lovely building that transports you to a different time, in an authentic Spanish atmosphere - everything is beautifully decorated and arranged, attention to detail has been paid. There is lovely landscaping all around. The hotel also has a pool, which we didn't use, but it was a very nice view in the morning from the terrace while having breakfast. Breakfast was modest and the same every morning but filling enough, however I would recommend varying it and especially including fruit and yogurts. There was no air conditioning in the room, but it was never needed because the hotel is right on the beach and at no moment we felt the heat. The host is an extremely pleasant and kind gentleman and we enjoyed our entire stay. We will be back at the earliest opportunity and will recommend to all our friends.

everything was excellent and close to excellent, I would only recommend to diversify the breakfast and make it a little richer; if done on a buffet, the host would not be so involved in serving each table individually - which of course shows a personal attitude and was nice for us.

The owner is very kind, he is so caring and patient. Our room is also very large, with view to the beach directly. It has swimming pool, so you can swim whole time. Beach is just 3 mins away. Breakfast is also good with basic stuffs: Juice, breads, cheese, sausage, jam. Self-bar service (there is a litle fridge you can take beer, water,... just make a note of what you take, can pay when check out). And it offers 2 BBQ cooking plates, with table and chair. How nice!

No AC - in summer days would be a bit inconvinient. Breakfast could have been more varied per day, but as mentioned, with the price we paid, cant demand more :) Maybe could rennovate the room and facility once a year/two years to keep things in good shape. Several things already needs to be replaced (eg. shower tube..)

I was traveling alone, so I got a room with a bed, wardrobe, table and chair, and a ventilator (since there's no AC, which I didn't mind at all). The room was always at a comfortable temperature. There was also a private bathroom with a toilet. The view was of nature and the sea. There's no balcony, but there's a rope on the window in the bathroom where you can hang your wet clothes/towel. I didn't get the washing utilities, but towels and bed sheets are provided. There's no fridge in the room, but if you need to cool something small down, you can ask for it and they'll put your things in a fridge. In the lobby area, there's also a bar where you can choose what you'd like to drink; it's self-service. From the large balcony where you also have breakfast, there's a beautiful view of the city and the sea. Hostel also has a pool. Everything is very vintage but well kept, and I liked it very much. I felt safe. The first beach is a 2-minute walk down. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the room, but I'll post some of the hotel pictures.. I would recommend that everyone visit this small city and the four amazing beaches that it has to offer. You can walk to every beach; you don't need a car. Just be prepared for a lot of stairs and ups and downs. 😄 Bring your snorkeling equipment and water shoes, as there are also rocky beaches. The staff is very, very friendly and relaxed. I had a great time and would definitely come again.

Everything was perfect!

Hostal Los Pinos is a big nice house charm and cosy, that has only a few rooms. Our room was well decorated, with amazing views to the see and very confortable. Price was really good for what we got...breakfast was good and swimming pool and garden is perfectly mantained. Free parking was in front of the house It's up to you: can choose staying in the impersonal 150 rooms hotel that you can see at the other side of the bay and share swimming pool with 200 guests...or you can enjoy the authenticity of this Hostal Los Pinos with his excellent attentive host. We took the second one and we spent 3 memorable days there! can't wait to get there again in the future!!! Thank you so much to our host!

Would be still better if an UFO went to Mallorca and absorved the damn big hotel at the other part of the bay...so Hostal Los Pinos would have still a better view.

The location of the was perfect and the breakfast was really good done but it was the same everyday (we didn't go last few days as we took of already before the breakfast). Would be good if there was a little bit more choices. And the PRIVATE SWIMMING pool, nice touch! Would recommend!

The only thing that was really a problem for us was there was no Kitchen. Also there was no refrigerator in the room, but the owner actually brought it from another place for FREE (as it is included in the Family rooms only - THUMBS UP FOR THAT!). I cannot say that this is a big minus as probably when we booked we overlooked that. We were only sleeping in the Hostel so usually took of at around 6-7am and came back at 9-10pm but worth mentioning is (we were not in the peak season) if it is really hot without the AC can probably be very unpleasant. Maybe note for the owner to consider AC.

We had a wonderful stay at Los Pinos. The location and the hotel itself is beautiful, very close to the beach and with supermarkets nearby. It is quite easy to get everywhere by car. The room was a bit outdated but was big and had a lot of charm and we really felt at home. We really appreciated the possibility to use the BBQ’s on the property and the view from the pool and from the breakfast spot is amazing!

It was a bit difficult to use the shower without getting the whole bathroom wet (but this was not a really big problem for us and we also liked to use the outdoor showers)

Ramon as a host and his team was very good, hospitality on a high level. Property very good, localization close to everything you need. If you rent a car you have access to many interesting places. By walking to 3 beaches. The hostel has its own swimming pool, nice sun beds under the grapes tree, which helps with sun dimming. Very good Mediterranean staying..

Weather in Mid July is hard to manage if you are from more northern counties like Poland, humidity is tough up to 90% during night and 24stC isn't so nice. Would be better with air conditioning. Also some diversity during breakfast would be valuable.

I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Hostal Los Pinos. From the moment I arrived, the manager was exceptionally gracious and helpful. He showed me to my room, accommodated my request for a hot water kettle, and was very pleasant overall. Throughout my stay he was always so friendly and gave me wonderful recommendations for my time in Northern Mallorca. My room had a wonderful balcony overlooking a grove of pine trees. I also loved how every evening from the hotel's patio, you could listen to the live music from the resort across the way. The location was beautiful and I also greatly enjoyed the free and secure parking on site.

Extremely affordably yet charismatic in a scenic yet reachable location, friendly service. For the price there is nothing to really complain about - and while the place is called 'hostal' it's location and architecture and the grounds are more like a normal hotel. The room (called 'room with a shower') was basic - but clean with nice hot shower and had all I needed for a cycling holiday (bar the washing machine and some cloth drying implements - but I should've gone for apartments or a cycling hotel for that!). The views from the room and even the bathroom were breath-taking (into the Cala and over the town) which gave it a feel of living in a fancy rustic villa. Room temperature with some natural ventilation was good (but it was May with 15-20C outside, so not sure how it will be in August without an AC). Sleep was good - good bed, a choice of blankets, no noise inside the hotel or outside, just a subtle calming sound of waves.

For the price nothing really. Of course you can find places with more modern designs, AC, in-room kitchenettes, WiFi and other 'nice-to-have' features - but not at his price.

Location was absolutely exceptional and staff were very friendly. Much appreciating that is one of the very few standing family run businesses in the island. Happy to support small & local businesses:)

Not many vegan options for breakfast. It would help to have some toiletries in the bathroom. Note to bring anti-mosquitoes devices
