Breakfast at €25 per pop is too much. Didn’t go for it.

This is the second time we vacation at Esplendido. This hotel comes we our best recommendation. The staff is amazing and very helpfull. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The placement of the hotel is perfect and located slightly away from the tourist stores, and just in front of the beach, less crowded than the others. The pool area feels private, as its location behind the hotel, placed along the mountain side surrounded with a garden where the sun beds are placed privately between small olive trees and big pine trees. First time we stayed here was as a couple and second time was with our kids - both worked very well.

We originally booked a one night stay but after half an hour at the hotel decided to extend. Beautiful rooms and decor, views, extremely professional yet warm and welcoming staff, smiles all around. Pristine pools, gardens, yoga room, gym, spa and a lovely library with a selection of vinyl records that can be played. Excellent à la carte breakfast at the roadside café and little details like homemade cookies delivered to your room or the fresh fruit and complimentary water and drinks. Thank you for a very relaxing stay and for not speaking German to us the moment we walked into the hotel, as it happened to us in the other 3 hotels we stayed at prior to visiting with you. Very refreshing to finally find out we were in Spain!

This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the room was absolutely gorgeous and there were so many hidden gems throughout the hotel and with service. A couple examples are the free treats in the room and left at turndown every night, the little bright library located near the terraced pools, the little balconies scattered throughout that gave you privacy and a view. And I'll never be satisfied with a breakfast at another hotel. The breakfast was free but with actual wait staff and tables and tables of freshly baked goods and fruit every morning. It was just glorious and something I would gladly travel half way around the world to experience again.

There is absolutely nothing I didn't like. The hotel beyond exceeded my expectations. It was worth every penny and then some. Don't bother staying anywhere else.

Since our last stay the new council implemented beach chairs were hard and uncomfortable compared to the hotel's own. Also had to be paid for. Not Esplendido's fault obviously. Would love if there was a swimming pool better suited to teenagers as my child of 14 was way too old for the "kids" pool and too young for the adults pool...

Incredible location - the best in the port. Amazing option to have either a buffet breakfast or menu (we opted for this to sit outside). Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was comfy and a wonderful touch of having little treats left at night and two complimentary beers and cola’s in the fridge. The pool area was wonderful and a great touch to have an adults-only and kids pool. The yoga studio was great and a wonderful, clean and fully stocked changing room for those checking out later etc.

The bathroom whilst clean was a little tired

Wonderful location and a beautiful understated hotel full of charm and an old school feel. Could not be a better location for the beach. Lovely details like baskets for the pool and beach and little treats delivered to the room daily. The staff are all brilliant across all departments, I cannot state enough how helpful and lovely they are. Special thank you and praise for Samantha from Cordoba in the Bistro who went above and beyond to provide us with excellent service.

I stress that we had a wonderful stay at the Esplendido, but just mention the following as would have improved it: Wifi could have been better - we frequently lost connection in the room, it also would be a bonus if it stretched to the garden/pool area of the hotel which could be achieved. The shower was over the bath rather than walk-in - we managed fine with this but could have a been an issue for anyone older/less able and a walk in would be easier and more comfortable to use.

Breakfast was the usual help yourself buffet, which was excellent - or sit outside on the ground floor for waitress service with a slightly different menu. Location lovely - waterfront, close to all Port Soller cafes, and lovely Prom walks. Lunch/evening menu simple uncomplicated menu. quiet lounge for reading with a lovely "Swap" library on the top floor.

Toilet rolls!!!! poor quality - no further explanation needed. The "beach" immediately opposite the hotel was stoney and uncomfortable to sit/walk. Either side you will find sandy beaches. (Not really a criticism of Esplendido!)

the location and view of this hotel really makes it. its so nice to walk around the port and come back for. a quick dip in the lovely pool to cool off. the rooms were big but the views are really what the hotel is about! we decided to upgrade our room and honestly it wasn't worth it because the hotel bar is so lovely to sit in and relax and watch the world go by.

we ate at the hotel restaurant and it was terrible, i am not typically the person to send food back but it was so salty i had to. everything we ate was over salted and way over priced....
