The facilities were second to none. We stayed in the Royal Level and it was worth it if you want a quieter holiday with adults/older children. Also, the restaurants were quieter in Royal. The food was fairly similar in both, being excellent and fresh with a good choice. The Royal restaurants had more table service for drinks and felt more like a proper restaurant than buffet. The staff were excellent; very friendly, efficient and professional. The management were very good at dealing with issues and sorted them without hesitation and then kept checking in to see everything was ok with our stay. The pool areas were very comfortable; the Royal level area has cabanas and day beds and nicer loungers than other parts but the infinity pool in the main part was beautiful.

Really can’t fault it.

Well we had an exceptional time in the Royal Level. From the moment we arrived we were given a warm welcome at reception. Charleen and Diago (the Guest experience Managers) went way and above their requirements to ensure we had a lovely stay. I have travelled the world and stayed in many 5 star hotels but this has been, by far, my best experience in terms of the warmth, friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Even the restaurant staff in Royal Level, in particular Ray and Nayade, were so attentive and eager to ensure our needs were met. Making us feel almost part of their Barcelo family. Plus, Deivis at the pool side who was so thoughtful and attentive, bringing little treats and drinks throughout our days sunbathing! I truly cannot compliment the hotel enough. Whilst they had just reopened only a week before, everything worked well and the staff are a true asset to the company of the Barcelo group. It is rare to see so many smiling staff members who so clearly love what they do, and this creates an enjoyable and relaxing environment for all to be in. After moving from a previous hotel early (after poor quality of food and unfriendly staff), we were so touched by the generosity and warmth shown by all the staff we encountered from our first step into the hotel to our departure. Even the chefs in the Royal Level restaurant were engaging and catered to our dietary requirements without batting an eyelid, and produced exceptional, fresh and flavoursome dishes at both dinner and breakfast. (David’s coffees are a must have too!) If I had to mention anything it would be I hope they get round to putting air conditioning and water into the gym, and upgrading the equipment. I look forward to coming back again in October and meet these wonderful people yet again. Highly recommend if you want a warm, happy and engaging place to stay.

It’s hard to say as liked it all but it would be nice if gym was updated and the metal fencing updated around Royal Level for more privacy.

The Royal Level is connected with the Barceló Hotel and the feeling to walk around was incredibly peaceful and pleasant. All the staff were very professional and friendly. The welcoming was excellent and Charleen had organised my staying very special with details for my birthday weekend in the hotel. I highly recommend it 🤩

The location is perfect for those wishing to be away from the busier resorts. The hotel is very large but you soon get your bearings. All staff are very professional, helpful and welcoming.

There are currently building works going on next to the hotel which is a total eyesore, unfortunately our balcony faced these building works. The service in the Royal Level Restaurant was excellent, however, the buffet food was, in our opinion, not hot enough and plates were not heated which didn’t help. Also, the dress code in the Restaurant was not adhered to or enforced which was disappointing.

Everything was perfect! Gorgeous staff, clean room, absolutely nice service! Big hug to all from Royal Level. MUCHAS GRACIAS!

The staff is very helpful and positive, always careful about your needs. The dinner buffet in the royal level is excellent and has a theme every evening. The breakfast has plenty of different choices and always very tasy. The royal level area and pool side service was excellent. The bar with music and great drinks in the evening

The only negative thing is our room was located just above the buffet (on ground floor) and there was a lot of noise and smell starting 5 o'clock in the morning when people started working. It became a nuisance later in our stay so we did not communicate this to the staff.

comfy beds and pillows clean rooms the location - plenty of places to wander: 10 minute walk to the cute seaside town of Los Abrigos - the restaurants do amazing paella, Canarian potatoes and bruschetta - a must! The nature park, and the little town with bars and the restaurant called Old Fashioned. Then another harbour about 40 mins walk away.

we paid extra for Royal level but the view from the room was of a building site, there wasn’t the fizz welcome reception as advertised. the royal level restaurant on all inclusive was nice but I actually preferred the main buffet anyway in the evening. given there’s the cute fishing town within walking distance we would probably not stay all inclusive if we were to come again. we ate out for dinner and lunch twice and the restaurants outside the hotel far exceed a buffet experience (as is always the case with all inclusive food). the mini bar wasn’t replenished once, we had to call daily to be given some cartons of water.

The bed was amazingly comfortable! The staff were really nice, specially Soraya and Pilar at breakfast and dinner. The food was great both at the buffet and at the restaurant. We arrived late and they had left a bottle of champagne and some food for us in our room, which was really nice as we didn't request it.

For a hotel that has recently been refurbished, I didn't expect that there were some faucets not working correctly (shower head) although it wasn't a huge issue. There were also construction works going on right in front of our room which meant not being able to enjoy the balcony (of course the hotel has nothing to do with it), but inside you cound't hear the noise so that was also not a big deal. Being our first time at the hotel, we felt a bit lost the first day but we asked for help in the reception and that made everything clear.

We had half-board at the Royal level and both the breakfast and dinner were outstanding. The breakfast, dinner, and pool staff were incredible. The location was great for us, much quieter than other locations on Tenerife.

The air conditioning had to be run all day to keep the room comfortable. The hand held shower was broken and the mount to hold it to the wall was broken as well.

Friendly staff all around from reception, restaurants, activity team and cleaning team; amazing food and various activities and shows to participate; The team provided beyond expectational surprises for my birthday which was highly appreciated!

Sadly we didn’t use massage as most of the time was been booked during our 4 day stays which was such unfortunate giving the fact we much want to have a relaxing treatment. Highly recommend hotel to ask the spa store to hire more people to ensure royal level can have the priority to book massage.
