Very friendly staff, pretty good location and good cleanliness. The bathroom had a small bottle of shampoo, a small bottle of shower gel, soap, toilet paper (obviously ;) ), and one set of tooth brushing supplies (which was a bit surprising since we were a couple, but was a non-issue), with the washing supplies replenished daily. There was also a bidet and a hair dryer in addition to the ubiquitous bathroom appliances. The wifi was good. I want to specifically highlight the buffet breakfast which in my opinion was amazing since I expected coffee/tea and some pastry, but in addition to great pastry selection there were fruit and some veggies (~3 varieties), jamón and some other meaty stuff, different kinds of yoghurt, cheese, granola as well as several kinds of juice.

It was possible to hear what was happening in the hall outside the room, but it didn't bother us too much.

Everything was perfect. The staff was just amazing and so helpful. They were smiling all the time. The breakfast they serve is delicious and there is a variety of things you can eat. Cleaning ladies were in our room every day and everything was spotless. The location is also great - you have a bus stop literally 2 minutes from the hotel and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff knows english so there's no problem if you don't know spanish. We totally recommend this place!!

We loved the great location between the city and the beaches. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was lovely,plenty of choice to suit all tastes. Food items were replinished as needed.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Pillows were a bit flat but the staff kindly gave us extra.

This hotel is very good regardin a Value for mony, Is too reach my bus, the room was clean and enought for me wo stay 3 nights, Interent was very good, Berkfast also was very good regaridng Value for mony. the bathroom wass equipied with abathtub, bide, and hair drayer,

Complete hotel need investment, It would be better if there is a key card instead the classic key. the bathroom should be renewed, it is on the border to be acceptable. If one want to go tothe beach must use the bus, the station is near to the entrannce of hotel I prefer harder beds,

While the bathroom is tired, it was clean and had plenty of hot water, towels and toiletries. Room large with comfy bed & a little fridge. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff very friendly. Convenient parking. Would certainly stay there again. Special mention for French/Spanish front desk young man. Was very kind with parking instructions and check in.

We stayed at villacarlos for 3 nights in May with 2 children(7yo and 8yo) Great value for monely, we were able to walk everywere.Staff is great and so helpfull(they all speak english).Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was so good and so much of it. I can not recomend this enough. Thank you

Rooms are a bit dated and there was no hand soape in bathroom wich I was surprised to see.

Excellent location loads good value for money

We had no kettle in room which would of been nice to be able make a drink after we arrived after long journey

the room was quiet and heating/air con worked. comfortable beds and we slept well. decent breakfast. bus stop nearby although we didn’t use it.

not quite clean enough - although sink toilet etc were clean there was a lot of dust around edges and sticky marks on some surfaces. hotel is looking quite tired.. the location isn’t bad as it’s more or less half way between old town and beach, but it’s still at least 25 minute walk wherever you go. metro station is about 12 mins walk away. I’d have preferred to get be nearer to old town. although reception staff were pleasant they didn’t offer us any information about wifi or public transport etc.

There's nothing particularly fancy about this hotel but it's a very decent option for someone travelling to Valencia to explore the city by foot or by bike. Location is very good, a 15-20 min walk to Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias and about 30 min to the city centre. Never had to rely on public transportation except for the trips from and to the airport (direct metro line). The hotel is surrounded by supermarkets, various shops and ethnic restaurants. Right next to it is a cheap Chinese joint that might not look very appealing but the food is fine and inexpensive. Breakfast doesn't include many choices but it was as good as in other 4* hotels we stayed at in Italy, for instance. Reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and kind.

For the price we paid for one room around Xmas time on a warm December, there's honestly not much to complain about. OK, the furniture could be considered old and water might linger in the bath tub for too long but there was nothing outstanding that was a nuisance throughout our stay there. We slept well and overall felt very comfortable during the 4 days spent in Valencia.
