The hotel is in a peaceful neighborhood, and the rooms are clean and spacy. The owners and the staff are really helpful and thoughtful. We had to arrive really late, and because of holidays we had to leave at a time when the reception was not able to handle our tourist tax payment. On both occasions, they were really helpful and respectful. The location is also right in the middle of many places one might want to visit in a Switzerland tour. About equal distance from Zurich, and Lauterbrunnen. Lucern itself is a prime location, and the Hotel has exceeded my expectations considering the amount I have paid. A price/performance winner for sure. If I come to Switzerland again, I will not search for a hotel, I know where to stay :)

If you are looking for some action to happen around the venue, this might not be the place for you, but if you are looking for privacy and peace, this is the place.

Good confortable room. All amenities like coffee maker, fridge, soaps etc were provided. Clean room. All fixtures excellent. Was easy to get there from train. Just walk across to the bus stop and catch a bus which stops few steps near the hotel. The name of the stop is Felmis Hotel so its easy for all. Good breakfast. Organic eggs as boiled or scrambled. Various kinds of cheese. Nuts, Coffee. Non-veg spread was in ample quantity, For the Indian vegetarians there are various kinds of breads, butter, fruits, cereals etc. The hosts are very friendly and i recall Patrick waiting for me to arrive at 10 pm to personally hand over the keys. Here the reception closes at 8pm or so and they give u a code in case u arrive late. They offer pre-checkin details in their website to be filled in. Opt for the breakfast package always.

The bathroom lock & key can be changed to an easier one. The present one is a but tricky and difficult to open if someone goes inside and locks it. From India point of view to the indians: There is no room service. There is a restaurant downstairs where you can order food but they dont serve indian foods. I really dont have any thing i dont like. Felmis is a hotel i would love to come back again and again.

The restaurant was the biggest redeeming factor of our stay at Hotel Felmis !The dinners we ate there were easily our best meals of our entire holiday. Everyone at the hotel were super friendly and helpful . The hotel gives a complimentary travel pass to get around.

The room was small and the bathroom tiny. Given the excellent caliber of the hotel’s kitchen the breakfast was very basic. The hotel is situated in a nice quiet residential neighbourhood but we had to account for an additional half hour into our daily programmes to travel to Lucerne city, the train station and the ferry piers.

Very nice hotel Not far from the city. Bus service, from right outside the hotel, is good, and free for those staying in the hotel. Every half hour from early morning until late. Patrick, one of the owners, an excellent manager. He knows Lucerne very well. Stacks of knowledge about Switzerland. Some nice walks start just across from the hotel. If you are driving, plenty of parking space at the hotel

Beds not brilliant. But , as expected, very clean rooms.

There is a bus stop just outside the hotel with Swiss punctual bus service every half hour through the day and it is free because the hotel sends you (email) a bus pass before you arrive. This made life very easy. The staff are exceptionally helpful and, although not the latest style, the hotels was clean, tidy and everything worked. There is an outside area for breakfast and dinner if one wanted. Also free parking in their own car park area just across the road.

I did not know that Switzerland used a different form of electic plug. The newer loading plugs (USB) work OK but the standard european plug does not fit. However, the hotel has adapters to borrow, just ask.

The room size is decent. It has a fridge and air condition. It is in general clean. The hotel looks new and also has an elevator. The staff are very responsive in email before we arrive, and are very help when we are in hotel too. Not sure whether it is common in Luzern, the hotel provides city pass for bus for all the days we stay, which is also appreciated. The rate is very good for a 3-star hotel in Luzern. The location is not in tourist area, but in a nice local neighborhood. The bus connect with city center and Kriens entrance to Mt Pilatus, which is still convenient.

The neighborhood around the hotel is a residential area, and there is no shops, restaurants, groceries, and major attractions within walking distances. The main disappointment - in the bathroom, it says if you want a towel to be replaced, throw it on the floor. However, one day the cleaner failed to replace a towel we threw on the floor and expected them to replace. No USB outlet.

This is comfortable B&B with comfortable rooms and good air conditioning (it was 34C on our arrival). The receptionist was really outstanding and made us feel welcome. The car parking was across the road in a dedicated car park next to the Tennis club. Switzerland is expensive to other countries, but compared to previous stays in Lucerne itself this turned out to be a better deal. The hosts kindly agreed to us eating in and the food was good (& welcome having driven from Italy). Walk in shower and wet bathroom was functional and good. There is even a lift to the 2nd floor. Breakfast was served in a separate dining area which was a buffet style with great quality and choices with attentive staff on hand to help if needed. There was a free bus pass to use if a trip into Lucerne was on the agenda. We did not use this as we only passing through on our way back to the UK!

We ate our lovely meal outside, but were next to the road which got busy during peak time. However, this did not spoil our meal there. It was unusually hot so it was a trifle uncomfortable in the outside dining area temperature wise, but this was th ceased everywhere during our holiday!

It was clean, comfortable and in a calm neighborhood. Staff were super friendly and supportive. The Lucerne ticket which we received a few days before our stay, was really helpful! The hotel is not in the city center but with the ticket we could use all public transport in the zone 10 and it was practical. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Nothing really important. Minor things like: The fridge in our room had some sort of connection problem and would turn off without cooling the drinks. Rooms were cozy and clean but didn't have a view. However we were outside almost all our time so it wasn't important.

Our room was surprisingly larger than expected, very clean and well-appointed. We were also pleasantly surprised with the exceptional menu available to guests in the dining room for dinner, since we would otherwise be obliged to travel back downtown for a meal. We were in the middle of our vacation trip, needed to do laundry, and the manager was most helpful with that task. Breakfast was convenient and plentiful. There was also a very pretty view of Mt. Pilatus from our front window. This is a quiet suburban location, about a 20-minute bus trip, through lovely neighborhoods, from the downtown Luzern Banhof (transportation hub), and it is served every 30 minutes at a convenient stop across the street. So it's a restful place after a long day around the city. It's a very comfortable place, even if you're not driving. We were very impressed with the courtesy and efficiency of the staff. As we were checking out, I jokingly remarked that my review would say "the staff is very industrious"; so here it is, and I mean it wholeheartedly.

Everything about this hotel was great the staff very helpful the restaurant and food brilliant the room very spacious and clean parking free and literally over the road views from room were beautiful

What didn't I like only spending 3 nights there I wish we had time to stay longer
