A beautiful traditional Swiss hotel and the most amazing views, sunset and sunrise over the mountains was something else. We had room 3 with the balcony , just perfect and the idyllic view with a morning brew. Danni and Linda are the best hosts from when you arrive to when you leave. The personal touches throughout your stay make it home from home. They pride themselves in sharing the best possible swiss experience and the fabulous breakfast consisting from all local farmers, cheesemakers, beekeepers in the area. This was always a dream for me and ticked all the boxes and more. The hottub is a must with the platter, sunset was incredible. Danni shared lots of history of the area which was fantastic to discover and his recommendations for our day were spot on. Discovering the true Switzerland, with even had lunch in the revolving restaurant at 2950m, if your a James bond fan it's a must! We can't wait to return again next year and discover more. The trains and buses were fantastic, everything is so well organised. The train station is in the airport so made our journey from Zurich to Interlaken straight forward. A 2 hr direct train journey, then a bus from interlaken up the hill to beatenberg, the stop is just below the rd to the hotel. Heidi the hotel dog loves a cuddle. 5 stars all round. All the things is excellent! Dani and Linda are so nice. During the rainy days, Dani can give some useful recommend. I can get a surprising gift every day. My single room is not so small and the view is amazing. I can see Jungfrau and Thunsee. The room is very clean. The breakfast is fresh and nice. They have a Bernese and a Maine. Soooo cute.

My stay is so short. I want to play with Heidi and Eric more time.

Me and wife stayed 4nights at this property. The property is located in the most Beautiful Swiss village beatenberg. Incredible views everywhere, we’ve got a room with a balcony view. The property owners Daniel and Linda were very hardworking and took care of us really well! In Interlaken we’ve been to jungfrau mountain and hard Klum, both are commercial sites with a lot of tourists but beatenberg beats them all! What an experience!! We will return.

It is a family run Swiss Chalet,Linda and Dani were fantastic we came as guests and left as friends. the view from our balcony was breathtaking, with Eiger Jungfraujoch in the distance unbelievable and unforgettable.There hospitality was so welcoming and friendly. We were the first ever Welsh guests to ever stay there so that was special. On our last night Dani cooked us traditional Swiss meal which was delicious he made us feel really special. if you want to experience a real Swiss adventure this hotel is for you. Enthusiasm and welcome of hosts was exemplary. Worth the small 15 min bus trip from Interlaken to stay in such peaceful idyllic surroundings with fabulous views. We upgraded to Mountain View room and I thoroughly recommend. So as a jumping point/base to explore the Bernese oberland look no further. Thank you.

This place was everything we could’ve dreamed about having an authentic Swiss experience! Dani and his partner made our stay very exciting and relaxed - the personal and typical swiss touches were just outstanding! From the old and cute furniture, Swiss chocolate treats in and on the room to meeting Heidi their 1 year old Bernese Mountain dog and house cat Eric as well as to a Swiss evening themed dinner and amazing cheese tastings at breakfast everything was so well thought of and you could just tell how passionate Dani was when talking about Swiss products or local experiences and recommendations. The food was amazing too! Having a proper Swiss cheese fondue whilst sitting in this comfortable and cute restaurant was one truly magical experience! We loved our stay and would absolutely love to come back one day in winter to enjoy the hot tubs with this incredible view!!

We travelled with two massive suitcases so the only thing that wasn’t great would’ve been having to carry them up to the second floor and not having a massive space to spread out with a lot of luggage in our room, but we totally made it work and didn’t bother us too much.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and had the most relaxing stay of our entire trip to Switzerland. The hotel is a short 20-minute bus ride from Interlaken West bus stop, nestled beautifully amidst a valley with an outstanding view. The rooms are kept extremely clean and tidy, and we were fortunate to have an amazing modern-style bathroom. However, it's not just the property and the view that left an impression; the hosts were even more wonderful. Dani and Linda were very warm and welcoming. They manage the entire property themselves but still find time to assist their guests with excellent recommendations and custom itineraries. Like others, we initially planned our itinerary from YouTube videos and Instagram reels, but thankfully Dani guided us to offbeat places, making our trip even more memorable and special. We would definitely visit again and recommend it to others as well. Thank you, Dani and Linda, for hosting us so wonderfully and for treating us to great meals.

Location was perfect, having a fantastic view of Interlaken, with only 15 minutes drive away from the city centre. The hosts Dani and Linda made us feel at home and also provided several recommendations on what to do and where to go during the stay. Breakfast was also very good and filling. In general the place is very clean and well kept. Also made friends with Erik (the hosts’ cat) who is very friendly and came to greet us as soon as we checked in.

There is no lift to carry your luggage which is however expected given the characteristic of the hotel.

My stay at Hotel Fassbind was incredible! The hosts Dani and Linda (and Heidi) were amazing, warm, and welcoming. They both take care to introduce you to the hotel and show you around and offer advice on where to explore around the town and surrounding areas. The room was delightful, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast is phenomenal, with care taken around the ingredients they use (eggs from a close farm and cheese from local makers). I cannot recommend this hotel enough! I didn't want to leave, and it was a highlight of my trip. You come as a guest and leave as a friend.
