The room was very nice … clean and everything worked … bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was spectacular … fond memories of fresh grapefruit juice.

You should be aware that there is no elevator. I was feeling a little off when I arrived and needed help to get my luggage up to the second floor. This was done immediately, of course, and in a very friendly way. Every member of staff was helpful, friendly, and personable. Some only spoke Italian but this was no barrier. Others spoke German as well.

Friendly (Italian speaking) staff very obliging once we worked out what each other was saying!! Gorgeous little hotel in a quiet part of town. Restaurant lovely too!

Getting in and out was sometimes a challenge - but that may have been because I didn't understand/follow instructions. Staff always very pleasant and helpful - can't fault them.

Place has special flair. All things are simple and functioning It is a quiet place at night Good breakfast.. no modern special food as in some big hotels. Just a good breakfast.

No elevator may be a problem for some people. No problem for a hiker though.

Staff very friendly. Breakfast delicious: two cappucini, croissants, buffet with salmon, cheese, yogurt, jam.

Be aware that Monday is the staff's day off, so breakfast is at the nearby Tibon grill bar and is just cappucio and croissants.

it was a birthday present for my best friend and it was one of the best experience ! because we did not expect that the room is so big and beautiful! we has a sun terrace and it was amazing. the staff was super friendly! very warm and welcome

Great location, nearby restaurants and easy to locate. Rooms were clean and decent.

All the facilities were good but no drinking water provided and no kettle to boil water either, so having the coffee alone in the room was not practical. The TV didn't have anything in English to watch like hbo, star movies etc, so felt like the TV didn't serve any purpose really.

The location is very good, 3 minutes from the Piazza Grande, on a street in the old town that is not as glamorous and trendy as other locations in Locarno. I stayed in a single room – perfect for spending the night, everything was in perfect shape. The breakfast is delicious.

Good location close to the piazza and 10 min walk to the station or lake front.

Shower could use a shelf for shampoo etc. Breakfast buffet was decent, but does not get replenished so if you’re a late rises there’s less choice.

Great location in the center. Friendly staff and good, sufficient breakfast.

Attic room, so thanks to my height I needed to be aware of rafters not to bump my head.
