We had a wonderful stay at Le Petit Charme-Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The daily continental breakfast was a perfect start to our mornings, offering a variety and quality of food that were excellent and a great way to fuel up for the day. The staff at Le Petit Charme-Inn were incredibly friendly and attentive, going out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The inn’s location is also fantastic, just a short block from the church and town center, making it very convenient to explore the area. Everything we wanted to see and do was within easy walking distance. Additionally, the roof-top terrace was a highlight of our stay, providing a perfect spot to relax and take in the stunning views of the Matterhorn. It was a fantastic place to unwind in the evenings. Overall, Le Petit Charme-Inn exceeded our expectations in every way, and we look forward to returning on our next visit!

The only improvement to this place would be air conditioning (it was hot in Zermatt when we visited in mid-July) and better lighting in the rooms.

Brilliant location, at the top of the shops but in the middle for location to get to the cable cars etc. rooms cleaned daily, although option to have a drinks voucher instead. Roof terrace is lovely to view the Matterhorn at sunrise and sunset. Our room must of been updated recently as it had usb plugs an absolute lifesaver as we didn’t have the correct travel plugs. Breakfast is a continental one but has loads of options. Lovely fresh fruit and bread, with meat and cheese. The staff were all lovely if I can ever afford to come to Switzerland again I would stay here. Zermatt itself is a brilliant central location to do things shame the shops close so early.

Only negative was the pillows they weren’t firm, quite flat but we were given more.

please don't bring a big luggage to this hotel, because you will need cardio to go here. it's not far but the road in Zermatt was using stone. the hotel has ski room, so you can put your ski equipment and luggage there. the staff was ok, not friendly but ok still respect us as a guest. the lift was small and quite challenging, but I'm appreciate they have a small lift. the room was clean, but the one that I was stayed was a lil bit old, some of the room is more modern, it's ok, small step. the breakfast was ok, they have bread, oat, fruit, egg, and coffee or milk.

The location was an easy and scenic 8-minute walk from the train station. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area, yet only 3-minute walk from restaurants by the historic church. The breakfast was good and started at 7 AM. This was good for starting hikes early before afternoon rain. There was construction behind the hotel, but it was quiet between 5 PM and 8 AM, so sleep was not disturbed. The staff was friendly and helpful. They let you store your luggage before and after you check out during their regular office hours of roughly 7 AM to 7 PM.

If you have more than one person, ask for an additional card to get into the room.

The location, the quirkyness of the building. Clever how they made it comfy & cosy. Nice choice of self service breakfast as much or as little as you like. And ofcourse must'nt forget to mention the roof top terrace, with its panaramic views. Guest are encouraged to view sunrise on Matterhorn, I got a good picture of sun setting behind the Matterhorn. Brilliant!

Not in Le petit charme-inn's control but there is so much building work going on all around Zermatt & so close to all the buildings that are there already. It must be quite tough for the staff to work along side that day in & day out. (They did warn me that there is building going on nearby from 8 in morning until 5pm before I booked). Great little hotel they are 😊💖

The property is very central, clean and the bed was really comfortable and has an amazing roof top seating area that you can take in views of the Matterhorn. The staff were really helpful and really knowledgeable about the area and advised what walks were best to do. The hotel was a very good price for Zermatt as the place is very expensive. Breakfast was really nice all you can eat, well presented very continental.

Nothing really, the laminate flooring was a bit tired, but the hotel was only used as a base.

The hotel was a short walk about 10 minutes from the train station up a hill close to the church. The hotel is small & so was our room although it was clean & comfortable.Staff were helpful .Small lift available in the hotel.On top floor there are lovely views of the town & Matterhorn. Breakfast was continental style. Plenty restaurants/ cafes & bars close by as well as access to plenty beautiful walks & scenery.

Our room was very small but as I said was clean & comfortable…..therefore no other comments.

The location was good, especially our view of the Matterhorn from our room. The rooftop balcony is fabulous. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. The housekeeping staff do a fabulous job - the place is spotless. The gentleman on the reception on an evening is very personable and extremely knowledge about the area.

The room we had was quite small - OK for a short visit but anything over 3 nights would be difficult. The hotel is situated next to a church, the bells peel every 15 minutes between 6.45 - 22.00.

All of the staff are super friendly. Location is superb, quiet, but not far from the restaurants, cafes, groceries and train station. They serve us warm tea/coffee while we are waiting during the cold snowy rain (really appreciate this). Roof top is a bonus, we can relax while watching the great Matterhorn from there. The property really take the green environment things into their own account, by giving compensation (free tea/bar time) to everyone who waive the daily clean. No other hotels did this kind of things (you know what I mean).

The room was basic but value for money. By foot, it was about 10mins from main train station, before you turn into a side street across the church then uphill to the property. There is currently constructions going on and the property informs you ahead. Breakfast was good with variety of breads, spreads, cereals, fruits and hard-boiled eggs. The place provides enough and the rooftop was a plus.

Property was next to a school so expect loud kids early in the morning and in the evening. Soundproofing was not great but it hinges on guests to keep their volume down.
