Beautiful building and very well maintained with tasteful decor. Staff very helpful. But who would have thought to have a full blown American Style Piano Bar in Switzerland let alone Zermatt! Great entertainment provided by the artists. We came in for 1 drink and stayed an hour and half.

Not sure if a room next to a church is a good idea when the bells start ringing and it is noisy at night with people in the street partying.

Breakfast was excellent/ Great variety of all kinds of foods. Breakfast Room was beautiful Our room was super comfortable. Great spacious bathroom and 2 big closets. One was a walk-in closet. Location was perfect, right next to the main pedestrian street Facilities were wonderful The Star Bar with Giovanni at the piano was great way to end the day The restaurants were great Prato Borni - 1* Michelin was the best!! Our TV was a disaster!!!! No Spanish channels working English only BBC and CNN Most channels had an image but NO SOUND IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF. or some type of compensation given

The room was beautiful, well designed and planned. Loved the fact that there was a balcony (ideal if you want to relax and chill) but we couldn't get a view of the Matterhorn from there. The breakfast was good as well, but thee need to be more people there for service. e.g. we had dinner the same night we checked in and it took us a while to catch someone's eye - since there were literally 2 people there! Location wise, it is fine, cause we chose the hotel because it wasn't a long walk from the station.

the location is perfect, the building is gorgeous inside and out, the swimming pool is a very good size for zermatt, my room was quiet, I particularly liked the attention and service of the staff in the ski room

the food was not up to the standard of the hotel, I was disappointed with the room service. some furniture and fittings in the room were really outdated, like the sofa which made a cringy noise every time I sat on it. last it is not the hotels fault but some guests kept slamming their doors which was disappointing and as apart from that the room was really well soundproofed.

The hotel is exceptional. The staff are not only smartly dressed, polite, knowledgeable and totally professional but also demonstrate a genuine desire to look after their guests. The room was superb with wooden panelling, excellent lighting, a comfy bed, two chairs and a round table. The bathroom had twin sinks and was spotlessly clean. There was a walk-in wardrobe. The room overlooked the square and the view of the Matterhorn was wonderful. The room was serviced twice a day and members of staff servicing the room could not have been more helpful. I was there for a birthday treat and was very moved when we returned on my birthday to find a cake in our room complete with chocolate icing on the plate wishing me a happy birthday and a drawing of the Matterhorn. We did not have breakfast but did have a meal in the Brasserie, a stunning restaurant serving excellent food. Another really appreciated bonus was the free lift back to the station at the end of our visit in the hotel's beautiful carriage pulled by an equally beautiful and friendly horse.

breakfast, room and location are a great plus. Their staff are very friendly and eager to help. I have never seen all senior staff of a hotel so dedicated to the success of the hotel by going above & beyond for customers. As for Sauna, they open from morning till 20:30 hours while competitor only starts from afternoon till 20:00 hours. The design of everything close to the pool makes it easier for customers to access compared to competitor. They have a nice car design to pick up customers. Although I did not get a horse ride from them, the horse carriage in blue is nicely designed with extra trailer for baggage. The front entrance of the hotel is grand and great marketing plus for people in Zermatt. They also have a nice outdoor patio for afternoon drinks.

Connection between mobilephone to TV to watch my movies. It seems that Covid Pandemic cause Outsource IT Partner manpower issues. The staffs in this hotel probably are struggling with a terrible IT outsourced partner.

This was one of the most magnificent hotels we’ve ever stayed in and easily the best on our most recent European vacation. Everything about this hotel is wonderful! The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, the room was big and perfectly appointed with a wonderful balcony overlooking the centre of Zermatt and the glorious Matterhorn peak making for the most picturesque holiday photos. The bathroom is excellent with a dreamy shower and even a two in one toilet that rinsed your behind with warm water (much better than a bidet which we can never work out in Italy!) Breakfast was also delicious and served in the delightful, old world charm dining room that also serves as the Lusi Brasserie in the evening, (and make sure you book that ahead for dinner because that was also exceptional!) And don’t miss the pool, sauna, steam room and ice room! Just fantastic! All staff were of the highest quality and in particular front desk staff member Julia was also wonderful organising our departure transport and answered all of our questions during our stay. Highly recommend this superb hotel and we can’t wait to return!

Having complimentary horse and carriage journey through the town, arranged for the second day, also the free taxi as required to/form hotel. Concierge service at reception was amazing, nothing was a problem. The room and breakfast was excellent value for money, looking down the valley. Other more expensive rooms over looked the Matterhorn but we seen this view from the Hotel front step each morning then spent our time on the mountain trains and lifts. The interior design of the breakfast room was amazing, the food was 5+ star with pianist playing, with views over looking the Matterhorn and located in the center of town, just brilliant. thanks

The wellness spa was 5 star with pool opening times excellent, the different rooms for stream, dry, scented, sub-zero. Also noticed the disable facilities were top class if required, amazing treatments can be booked. The live pianist at night in different bars was a real treat, he was very happy to receive request and interact with the guests.

Beautiful, restaurant staff and housekeeping excellent! Spectacular breakfast.

The front desk is a disaster. I asked through booking.com the day before arrival, to add a person in one room. No one in reservation’s or the front desk bothered to check the message. They insisted I put that person in another room with someone who was running a fever, they could do nothing, it was my fault etc… it took over two hours to get the room we asked for. It was a really bad first impression. Then we were asked to leave early so they could do some maintenance in the room. Strike two. The final straw, the made a dinner reservation for the group, when we got to the restaurant they had no reservation. We called the hotel, they said they would call us right back, still waiting for that call. There are really nice, but what a mess.
