The resort looks nice, a nicely maintained and decorated yard and the area around the pool right next to the beach with very nice white sand. The staff is friendly, we didn't have a kettle in the room, and when we asked for it, they immediately brought it to us. Beautiful traditional beach houses, unfortunately we didn't. we got accommodation in those houses, and we were given those pictures when booking through booking com. We got remote rooms with a lot of stairs. Those rooms are very small with outdated and rusty bathroom equipment and a very hard and uncomfortable mattress, not for those with back problems .I did not expect that accommodation for that price. Quite windy in that location. The internet is very weak in the room and there is almost none at all. Water in the bathroom is very salty. I don't understand why we had to pay immediately upon arrival, even though we booked with a card through booking, but at the end at check out The prices are too high compared to Kendwa and Hotel Gold and you have no possibility to go anywhere else nearby

price for drink and lunch.I know this might be a problem al over the island but the beach boys can really be iritatally and dont leave you alone to enjoy the beach

This place is absolutely stunning and we already plan to come back! :) We booked 4 nights and then extended for 4 more as we really liked the resort. Amazing food 3 times a day (all you can eat buffet), live music every day!! plus local dance shows and masai performances, beautiful beach with the finest white sand, very kind and helpful staff members, nice architecture and decorations in the hotel. We were bit afraid of the low tide in Zanzibar when we read about it, but you can swim all day long except maybe 2 hours during lunch time, so it was absolutely ok. We did also some nice trips with the local people selling their services on the beach, they are little bit pushy but we always had a great time and never regreted, plus you support local people directly and not just the resort. The beach is very clean, there is just grass from the sea, some days more some days less. We have been to many exotic countries all around the world so we can compare the resorts and we were really surprised that we haven't seen a single piece of plastic or garbage on the beach during our 8 days here, wow!

Ice coffee or cappuccino is not covered by all inclusive and you have to pay extra for every cup! :( We also missed some very basic cocktails in the all inclusive menu like Mojito or Pina Colada. Sport equipment like table tennis needs renovation, the gym is smelly bcs of rubber floor. It would be nice if the beach is cleaned from the sea grass every day, I know the grass is natural stuff but without that the beach would be even more perfect, like a paradise :)

Best thing about hotel is that you can ask whatever you want and 99% of your wishes come true. As European I like some things made differently as they are in Africa but if you ask the hotel staff makes it! As example I can say they make awsome tuna stakes if you ask them! And they also add rum to your coconut if you ask. So the main tip is - ASK! Moreover, as experienced travelwr I have been reading reviews about the hotel and two things were very disturbing (a) that the selection of food os not very rich; and (b) that the tides make the sea go away for a far far way. To tackle that I shall say that (a) food is good and changes everyday, so even on 11 night stay you will have a varios optios to choose from (especialy if you are into sea food); (b) tides are constant but there was no day with out sea at your foot steps to the pool, meaning that some times you have to wait half a day before sea comes back but it eventualy does.

You can't have it all. The hotel is not in the crowded city therefore most usual (for European) options of shopping are not around. On the other hand you have all necesities inside the hotel.

We stayed with the all inclusive package. Very comfortable nice room located in beautiful gardens close to the beach. Friendly and helpfull staff. Food varied and super tasty! I highly recommend a visit to the spa. I had the most relaxing massage! Nice local entertainment some nights. I got stung by a jellyfish while snorkeling and the service manager Dass helped me get in touch with the hotel doctor who treated me free of charge. You feel very safe and noticed in this hotel. Over all we had a really nice and relaxing stay wich was exactly what we wanted.

We did miss snacks or fruit in between the main meals. Dinner was served at 19:30 so we always arrived super hungry. Some available at the sister hotel next door but you have to pay offcourse. The music in the evenings and some entertainment was very outdated and maybe for the older crowd. Not relater to the hotel it self but it is insanelly windy at this location.

It's very nice smaller hotel than BlueBay which makes it more comfortable and quieter. The food is tasty and even there is no huge selection it's good enough. Stuff is professional so it makes your stay very pleasant and relaxing. I think that this is very good choice if you go to visit Zanzibar.

I missed option of All Inclusive when booking at Booking.com. You can pay locally as upgrade but it would be reasonable to have this option on this portal. Wifi range/bandwidth is definitely something to improve.

Kindness of staff, especially Fatma. She really went the extra miles to ensure our stay was perfect. The food was varied and excellent, so were the evening shows. A lot of activities taking place in the resort in addition to excursions also arranged by the hotel... And if you do have time, you need to try the herbal thai massage.

Check-in experience a bit stressful as front desk could not find my booking made on booking.com. The hotel went to extra length however to accomodate me. Even benefitted from a massive upgrade.

our stay was really amazing. the staff were super kind all the time and always there for support. tha manager Mr. Dass is the best, always there and trying to solve any of your problems. they give support on booking for COVID tests as well. the food is amazing and they have a lot of variety, and everyday it’s different menu. the hotel is beachfront and really calm if you are expecting to get relaxed. overall it was a really nice stay and we highly recommend!!!

the rooms are ok, but we stay on one that was really far away and with lots of stairs, not expecting that for the price we payed. but then the rooms was good, with some sea view, clean, with ac and well prepared for the mosquitos. the internet could be better. (at the beach and bar it was OK)

as we were not all inclusive, all extras costed a lot more than the worth. we have experienced over priced laundry service and beverage prices
