Arrived early and was not let to check-in until 2pm when the hotel was not full.

Very nice hotel and quiet when you’re inside the hotel compound, few minutes drive to the downtown, good sea view and landscape. Staff are charming and helpful including management team. Breakfast is superb and the hotel looks very good for all kind of visitors such as families, business, couples etc

One important thing for family visitors who wish to use the theme park and other activities associated with that, the theme park is opened only on weekends and public holidays and hotel guests are not get any discount {i.e. the hotel guests and the visitors are the same). This happened to me with my family and kids when checked-in on Monday, the good thing is management tried to find another solution on second day – thanks for that

The customer service of the staff was superb, they are very friendly to kids and respectful. Thus far Verde has and is my family choice hotel in Zanzibar

The fact that the watersports was closed was a bit of a sad part as the boys were looking forward to get themselves wet and pumped with adrenaline. But it was understandably as we'd prior knowledge of the closure.

I would definitely recommend the Hotel to a fussy traveller like myself. I don't comprise when it comes to where I sleep and what I eat. The hotel is exceptionally gorgeous and the room service is on point. Much better than most hotels I have visited before. The staff are very friendly and you experience one of the best places to stay in Zanzibar. It was an ideal choice. Not very close to common beach properties but I liked the fact that it was in a quiet and more relaxed area. Definitely recommend it to all. The staff at the helpdesk were all extremely friendly and helpful and we received 5* treatment throughout our stay.

The food was not always fresh and didn't have much of a variety. We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and had the same buffet selection almost every day. They can just try to change their breakfast opinions and have more fresh foods. We only enjoyed fresh croissants once during our entire stay.

Upon entering our lovely hotel room, we were greeted by a refreshing scent. Each morning, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast featuring a new menu daily, and the entire staff displayed exceptional politeness and attentiveness.

The hotel room door requires additional security; it unexpectedly swung open due to the wind while we were inside, a fact verified by CCTV footage.

Great location, very nice staff especially Sylvester who served all our meals while we were there. Rooms were as shown.

We arrived several hours before check-in and while most hotels would do a courtesy early check-in we got an “ excuse “ that our specific rooms ( standard ) were not ready yet the hotel was virtually empty leading us to conclude that they don't allow early check-in but don't want to outright state it.

It was a good breakfast , but needs improvements especially fruits. more of Papaya fruit and mango.

Room service menu is limited, it would be better to have more choices. The towels in the bathrooms are a bit old and need new ones.

Breakfast service was average and the cooking station should have more than one person when the restaurant is busy.
