Excellent facilities and service. Perfect for couples and families. The options for lunch and dinner were lovely with lots of options for vegetarians. Exceptional service from Rashid and all of the team at the Royal Cliff.

The breakfast selection were limited but we love fresh fruit which was available all the time. If you prefer a bigger range of choices for breakfast the this hotel may not be ideal. dinner and lunch options were great. Lots of choice for vegetarians. There are no restaurants near by which you can walk to so it is important to consider this when booking.

We liked absolutely everything! They made our very early check-in hassle free and late check-out as well. No additional charges, no single word. From receptionist till the driver- just great! Restaurant, food, pool, staff great guys, doing their job absolutely lovely! Veryyy quite place, which we loved! Great place to escape. The area of the hotel made us fully relax.

Nothing. If you need to go anywhere, they will provide transport (additional charges), but- always available, which makes you always relax, since you are not worrying about anything. So location should not bother you

The staff are all so friendly and cannot do enough to help you and make the experience amazing. We came for my 50th birthday and wow did they spoil me. Beautifully decorated bed, table out on the veranda for dinner and a birthday cake and singing for me. Wow. They made a special birthday even more special. I was lost for words. The rooms are amazing. Huge and with lovely views very spacious. The pool is great...a fantastic sea view. The restaurant has amazingly tasty food all cooked fresh. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. If we ever come back to zanzibar...you will be our first choice to stay at! Thanks so much for an unforgettable experience.

The drive up from the main road to the hotel is on a very rural road. Don't worry though as when you arrive at the hotel the drive was worth it. It is amazing.

Tbh, so far this is the best hotel in Zanzibar where i feels like home. What can i say, everything is amazing, the ambiance, the staffs, the foods, the safety, the beautiful garden and peaceful private property. Its great for those whom wants to healing, enjoying the beauty of Zanzibar ocean. Special thanks to Salvina and Mwinyi, you guys are great. I already miss my room hotel today. 😄

I liked how stunning the place looked. The staff were willing to meet our every need without question. They were friendly kind and understanding. The food was excellent, they have an amazing chef.

The air is humid and dense so keep the ac on or the fan going.

The high tide during our stay in May 2024, we couldn't go down for morning walks along the beachfront, always at high tide.. but the property is enough to walk around privately.

The Staff are really friendly and attentive to your needs from food, to house keeping, to getting a ride to town. Superb. The property itself is quite nice. Pool/dinning/accommodations.

I stayed for a weekend in July 2023, the WIFI is very slow. BAD. The accommodation is quite secluded; that is, from hotel, its like a 2 kilometre bumpy road to the main road and then like a 40min ride to Stonetown (Ferry Port). Taxi into town is like $20 one way. I thought accessibility was a bit of a challenge with limited options. I won't go back because of how detached the hotel is. Compared to other parts of Zanzibar, there is no beach traffic (might be a pro or con).
