We were upgraded to a two bedroom villa with a private pool from the landmark suite that we booked. I think because I had indicated that we would not like to be affected by renovation noise which the resort is currently undergoing. They didn't have to but we really appreciated the offer. The villa was huge for the both of us and we had an amazing stay there! The staff were all amazing and very open with the pricing of their services. They offered to book a hotel taxi for us instead of taking the hotel transfer as it was 200 baht cheaper. We appreciated the honesty! Definitely will return for another stay!

This is my first time staying at Dusit after my friend's recommendation. Honestly, I can’t express my feelings as everything was excellent, from the warm reception, from the staff professionalism towards the smiley goodbye. The hotel is super clean, breakfast amazing & don’t miss the afternoon tea plz. Last, a big thanks to “Supaporn Pana” who kept calling & asking if we needed anything, even if she saw us walking around, she would greet us and make sure that everything was OK. For sure, I’ll come again.

NOTHING AT ALL

I stayed in the club rooms, I had direct access to the beach as well as literally 20m away from the breakfast area at La Trattoria. The room was slightly musty smelling on the first night, but I expected that as they had prepared another room for me originally, but I paid for the upgrade to club rooms at the counter. To the hotel's credit, they did provide me a machine deodorizer free of charge to use the rest of my stay. The sheet and towels were all crisp and in good condition. The pillows were slightly on the soft side for me, but my daughter love it so it's net-net even I guess. The breakfast is great but not stand out remarkable - however after 10 years of coming to Phuket staying in various hotels 3 times a year (except during covid times), the breakfast would be in the top 20% of hotels. The staff, however, is what made the 7 or 8/10 for the hotel become a 9 or 9.5. Everyone is personable and goes out of their way to assist, and there is not one person among the staff that looks even remotely unhappy. I went on my birthday weekend, and I did not highlight that it was my birthday. The staff however, pleasantly surprised me with a very nice chocolate cake and the resulting photo with me and my young daughter turned out to be one of the natural unposed sweetest photo she and I have had this year. It is now my phone lockscreen wallpaper - and also a memory I will forever cherish.

Though no fault of the premises, the time of the year I went was in August 2022, and the waves/winds were fairly strong. Throughout the 5 days, we sadly did not have the chance to build sand castles on the beach, as the warning Red Flags were always up during our stay. We will be back again in December to try again.

rooms are very old and Grungy booked an ocean Room but couldn’t see the ocean - they moved us rooms were so old. towels linen . the crib they gave us was from the 60’s. sent it right back. my child can fall out and die. the kettle was from the 50’s will attach a pic

one of the reception stuff after check out I ask her to describe the hotel location by the phone but she said rudely that she is busy with checking in other customer, with consideration that customer he was a single young guy and we are was a family with little kids i things he would never mind to be late for 5 seconds, and she finished checking in the customer she carried his bag to the room

very friendly and attentive staff on all levels. excellent service. location at the beach. excellent food. Tanishna at the Horizon Lounge excelled frequently with great service.

Chair blocking at the pool and the beach (sometimes before 7 am in the morning) is not in accordance with five star standards and should not and must not be tolerated.

Staff were great, the beach right in front of the hotel. The grounds set around a lagoon.Nice little gym. The laundry service was good but a little pricey.

Pool area and furniture we're a bit tired looking. The room had mould spots in areas. Which to be fair is inevitable due to the air conditioning and humidity in general. The cost of drinks and food are very expensive. I know it's a 5 star but I don't expect to be paying more than western prices for a local Thai beer. 4.20€ for a bottle of Singha is ridiculous. A standard rice dish with an egg on top was about 12.50€. There is cheaper places along the beach which have great and more authentic food.

Room - very clean and comfortable overlooking the lagoon on the third floor. Swimming pool and surrounds/gardens very clean. Excellent choice at breakfast with option to sit inside or outside. Manager ‘Luca’ visible and introduced himself. All the staff from security, to bellboy, front desk, restaurant and pool staff, gardeners and cleaners were smiling and very welcoming. Wifi was pretty good in all parts of the hotel and garden/pool area. Awesome location on the beach.

We booked 3-4 months previously a King size bed double room but allocated a twin double. Staff merely pushed the bed together with the inevitable ‘ridge’. We didn’t complain as everything else was great.

The beach view and access is excellent. The food is great in taste and variety and moderately priced. Decent Indian options as well which was a big plus. They have a wheelchair in the resort and most areas are accessible, including the beachfront . There was massage available on the beachfront. Overall a great place. Special thanks to Waris and Prani at in-room dining. In fact everyone was extremely helpful and courteous. Many thanks to all.

Everything was great. Small issue that could be addressed - it seems the AC temperature is centrally controlled. We couldn't make the room cooler/warmer and the staff was unable to do it either.

The staff was extremely attentive and flexible, we had a late night flight and had checked out earlier during the day. They were able to offer us a late checkout and we were also able to use the pool / beach all day. They also provided my partner and I the use of a shower in a hotel room before we had to head out for our flight in the evening. The hotel is also right on Bang Tao beach with access to many restaurants on the beach.

Our bed was very comfortable, but there was a lamp in between our bed that was positioned a bit awkwardly and would get in the way when we slept at night. We suspect it’s because they combined two beds together to get a massive king bed.
