Good location to be able to access everything in Sukhothai, within walking distance from the main Sukhothai bus station and also very quick/easy to reach the historical park by bus/tuktuk. Nice room with good Wi-Fi, AC and hot water, as well as a big fridge. Bed was very comfy. We received 2 bottles of water and fresh toiletries every day.

Payment was by cash only. A 300 baht deposit was required for the room key which we received back after check out. There was a note to say that we should not put the AC lower than 24 degrees. Our room was close to the reception area so we could hear noise from the reception early in the morning, however I don’t think this would be a problem if you were in another room.

Good location, close to bars, street food, restaurant, shop, pharmacy… During the day it is close walk to the main bus station by the canal, 1km. Well i came to the guesthouse with a taxi scooter:-) And when i was leaving i went by walk to the station in the morning to catch a bus to Chiang Mai. Lovely, AC room with nice bathroom, fridge with drinking water… Clean and nice. Owners and staff were very nice. Good breakfast and tasty coffee. Very nice terrace to sit on. Owner drove me to the old city (historical park) for additional price. I recommend! ;-)

BEST GUESTHOUSE IN SUKHOTHAI!! Big thank you for the wonderful Mr Toh and his wife for a fantastic stay in new Sukhothai. The room just like the pictures and as described. It was great value for money, air con, hot shower, clean. Mr toh also had bicycle rental as well, but old Sukhothai is a little further away so we took a motorcycle that was powerful and quick! He tries to be efficient and direct but actually he's a very caring man. When the airline misplaced my luggage he even called for me to see what happened, you know if he can he will look after you. Be courteous and he will go the extra mile. Every time i had a question he was very patient and always helpful, even after all these years looking after countless guests. If you are looking for a basic place that is best value for money you can't really go wrong at TR guesthouse. They have a kitchen downstairs and 7eleven, restaurant, self serve launderette just within 5-10 min walk. They are about 10-15min walk from bus terminal or about under 70-90 baht ride. The area is super quiet at night so you can only hear nearby appliances like aircon if you turn it on. Also, the room has little Natural light apart from a small window so it's perfect if you like to sleep in the dark like me! The beds are comfortable and good linen! Lighting is great so no complaints!!

Nothing really, it was interesting my room didnt have a toilet roll holder? But this isnt supe rare in Thailand.

First of all Toh and Long are incredibly helpful and friendly, they helped us so much when we were stuck for transport to Chiang Mai. Spotlessly clean everywhere, spacious room with large fairly comfy bed. Nice terrace at the front to sit and have breakfast or a drink in the evening. Good breakfast too, recommend the yoghurt and fruit. Can hire bikes from here, there is a lovely cycle route along the canal to the Historical Park. Exceptional value for money. There is a reason TR Guesthouse is recommended on many travel blogs, they provide an excellent service. Would give 12/10 😊

What an amazing guesthouse 😘😘. Only 10 mins walk or a short tuk tuk ride from the bus station this gorgeous hotel offers tranquility, beautiful rooms and great breakfasts and all tucked away in a small road so it's very quiet and tranquil. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, speak good English and happy to help in any way. The breakfasts are amazing and set you up for a day exploring and the peaceful veranda is great for unwinding with a drink at the end of the day. They also rent good quality bicycles and motorbikes.

Absolutely nothing

I stayed for 3 nights. This guesthouse is exceptional for comfort, position and value for money. They provide breakfast, with a varied selection at very reasonable prices. The staff speak English. They are very helpful and friendly. They gave me excellent advice on places to go and things to do. Even recommendations for authentic very tasty Thai food. I really enjoyed Sukhothai. It isn't full of bars and nightclubs. It's better than that, it's a true representation of Thailand before tourism took over as in some of the more popular areas. It's just what I wanted to see. The country, meet the people and observe their culture rather than something you get at home. I highly recommend this guesthouse and Sukhothai for a visit. Thank you for a great stay.

Great, well positioned Hotel with very friendly and helpful staff 🙂 the room was clean, comfy and quiet. In fact the rooms are excellent and tastefully furnished with thought. This place has a very warm and inviting atmosphere, probably due to it being owned and run by the same family for many years. It's falang-friendly and the breakfasts on-site are really good ... saving that morning walk to find coffee and breakfast. All up, an excellent place to stay in Sukhothai. Nearby is the nicest little bar/meeting place in town - the 64000 Bar, and the Chopper Restaurant/Bar is staffed by very friendly people too 🙂 There's private, secure parking and the people are really genuinely nice people. Highly recommended 👌

Having to leave!

I had read that the owner was amazing and very helpful... I can confirm that. We arrived late but he was still waiting for us and friendly welcomed us. Then the multiple advice and services given made us feel like VIP guests. The guesthouse was very clean, nicely located, comfortable, with a fast Internet connection and we had such a memorable stay there. We could achieve all our to do list thanks to his help and we loved the place.

It was amazing. The hosts set a fantastic environment that everyone enjoyed. Their breakfasts and dinners were fantastic with fruit available all day. Couldn’t imagine a better all inclusive place to stay with bicycles available to visit the sites, lockers for valuables and a big beautiful yard to enjoy and socialize. 10 out of 10 for sure

Clean and comfortable room, close to local bus stop for historical centre (around 12 Km away, and just 30 baht fare) good eateries and shops. Around 1km from the main bus terminal so easily walkable or a cheap tuk-tuk ride away. Good tourist advice and great laundry service.

WiFi is quite weak in the room so worthwhile to invest in a local SIM card.
