The staff were very helpful and friendly which made a great difference as the hotel was our home away from home for nearly a month. The staff was organised and hard-working. The restaurant had great meals. It was nice to sit outside and eat al fresco which is not possible in most other hotels.

The breakfast could have been improved with hot milk available for cereal. Hardly any fruit was available, just slices of oranges or apples. The juice was not fresh, just cordial, yet freshly squeezed orange and pomegranate juice is really cheap in Istanbul. Also, the breakfast room was a bit too small especially once the weather became colder and no one wanted to sit outside.

The location is really good. We could go out for a walk in the morning and come back to rest a little before going out again. That wouldn't have been possible if we had stayed far away from the center. Really well located.

Rooms are never cleaned enough during your stay, they only make your bed and change your towels but they don’t sweep or clean around the room which is usually expected after you come back from a day. It’s important to read the type of room you’re booking. They specifically say “no window room”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location, near Cemberlitas tram station. I booked an economic room and those happen to be at the basement, which is, of course a little bit humid and smelly (like any other basement in Istanbul, not a particular trait of this hotel). The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and the shower had good pressure. The hotel staff was kind enough to offer me breakfast as courtesy, breakfast was buffet turkish style, very tasty and generous. I would be coming back to the hotel but definitely next time I will be booking a room upstairs

Internet reception in my room was on and off, I had to spend some time in the lobby to get some online stuff done, even thou nobody was smoking in the lobby, I got the strong smell of people smoking from outside, maybe from the bar

Breakfast cheap and very good. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, they speak perfect English and Russian, other languages not tested. Some rooms have more furniture, some less (no chair for example), but I am sure hotel staff will bring it, when you need. The possibility to charge all your devices is very good - 3-4x sockets 220 V, 2x USB 5V, 2A. The 2 pins European plugs (Germany etc.) are compatible, but check for other countries if an adapter is not needed. The hotel is about 15 - 20 minutes walk from a large park with Hagia Sophia and Blue Moshee (7/22 reconstruction inside - nearly nothing you could see), where you can rest and see all the beauty around. The street is a quiet one with a lot of hotels and good restaurants.

It is not a problem caused by a hotel. Transport with a taxi during rush hours is really terrible, but you will use it probably once or twice only, you can visit all interesting places by walk. When I have managed it with my 75+, you will manage it as well.

I have discovered a small Gem of a hotel, I would stay there again, very central location and nearer tram station, bars, cafes and tourist area's like the Bleu mosque etc. Staff were very helpful and gave me a free upgrade. very much appreciated and see you soon again Inchallah.

We had a 6 day stay at the hotel, took 3 room, Staff are extremely nice and accommodating. Price of the hotel is affordable and cheap Hotel is very central to all the famous location, approx. 5 - 8 minutes walk, Food around the hotel is cheap and affordable. We were happy to have the airport service included managed by the hotel through the local trusted taxi i would recommend all to plan and ask the hotel to avoid any disappointment and delays. We were picked and then dropped back to the airport Sabıha Gokcen airport which is located 50 minutes away. Thanks to BABA (Davaut ustad) who is a really friendly and jolly person, with all the guest kids are big fan of him, he deserves the raise. We thank all the staff who have made our holiday pleasant and rememberable. See you till next time :)

Cleanliness is acceptable. Wi-Fi is not so great but its ok. Rooms are close and you can hear through the wall, Inside restaurant just bit overpriced,

We booked the hotel close to our stay time. We just stayed for one night. The hotel communicated with us immediately and asked us if we needed help with transport from airport. Transport was arranged promptly. Reception was very friendly and cooperative. Bell boy was very helpful in getting the luggage to the room. He asked us to call him if we needed anything. The room size was average. The hotel room was reasonable for the price and location. The bathroom was somewhat small, but clean. Room temperature had no issues. We left or luggage in the lobby as our flight was much later than the check out time. Hotel has a good breakfast arrangement and looked very good but we did not get the chance to check it out. All in all, a very good deal for your buck.

Bathroom size is a bit small but most of the hotels in a central areas have small bathrooms.

The location was excellent, in the Old City. The hotel was nice, the cleaning staff very good.

The bed in the room, nearly unwrapped. That doesn't show much appreciation for the guests.

The hotel was great. In the middle of old Istanbul, very close to the Hagia Sophia, the Sultan Ahmet Mosque, the Basilica Cisterna,and other major historical attractions of Istanbul. The staff was excellent, especially Ibrahim, who was very kind, reliable, and interested in helping me. He gave me all the information about Istanbul, as well the hotel facilities. I really enjoyed there. I would recommend everyone to stay at the Santa Sophia hotel in Istanbul. I am really satisfied with all the services in the hotel.

Nothing disturbed me.
