Top notch location as you can walk out backside door of the hotel and in 5 mins you are at Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophiya. Tram station is is also 10 mins and so is basilica cistern. It is clean and breakfast is good. Rooftop bf gives good views.

Water is provided only on first day and we found the bottle was refilled as the cap was already open, no matter how many nights you stay. We were unaware and used water bottles from fridge and were charged extra. Bathroom are very small and very uncomfortable to take bath. They could have made the shower enclosure bit bigger in size.

The location is laterally next to the Blue Mosque and to Aya Sofia. And the roof top breakfast, with view at both the 2 mosques and to the Bosforus straight was worth it all. Breakfast was ok, room was nice, though small.

We were at the 5th floor (top floor) and from our room we were next to the stair going to the roof breakfast. That meant that every morning at 7.30 we were awaken by loud noises of plates. So do ask for a lower floor :) Also at 6.20-6.30 am the prayer starts, which means there is loud noise (in loud speakers from both mosques), another wakeup call. This you cannot escape, unless you have super efficient earplugs (not sure if even then).

What an amazing hotel. The best things about this hotel are its PRIME location and best breakfast. It is right next to the blue mosque and hagia Sophia. From the terrace you can see both and also bosphorus river on the other side. You will enjoy the best breakfast with an amazing sunrise over bosphorus. They have the friendliest staff I have ever seen. You are really treated well. We had some issues which were immediately and wholeheartedly dealt with by the staff. Especially I can't appreciate the lady at reception enough (sorry forgot her name). She did everything in her power to help ua. All with a pleasant smile on her face. She ran outside on the roads without a coat to guide the taxi driver. They helped me with printouts for travel as well. They really are best. One word of advice, please mind that if you are getting out or coming in the area in busy daytime hours or peak hours like evening (5/6 pm) you would be stuck in traffic. Please plan based on your flight time. Give Extra time for travel. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to meeting the staff again in future

Traveling on taxis during peak hours in this area is challenging

The location is excellent. All historical sites are located within a close distance from the hotel. Also shopping centres like Istanbul bazaar and Galataport are very close. Restaurants and groceries are also within walking distances. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The ones at the reception are all wonderful people. It’s unfortunate that I don’t know their names except for Khalil, there the wonderful lady at the reception and the other man. They are all great.

The small space of the room makes it difficult for me to enjoy my stay during the day. The lack of Wi-Fi connection also makes me rely on my chip data all the time.

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful experience my parents had at your hotel. They couldn't stop raving about it! From what they've told me, it sounds like the perfect place to stay in Istanbul. They were absolutely thrilled with the central location of the hotel. It made exploring the city so convenient for them. They also couldn't stop praising Khalil and the entire staff for the exceptional service they received. It's clear that you all go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels well taken care of. My parents were particularly impressed by the breathtaking views, delicious breakfasts, and the warmth of your hospitality. Additionally, the room Khalil provided for them was not only comfortable but also impeccably clean. It's evident that you pay attention to even the smallest details to make sure your guests have a memorable stay. Based on their glowing recommendation, I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay at your hotel myself when I visit Istanbul. Thank you once again for making my parents' trip so special. My Parents had stayed at this hotel seven years ago and highly recommended this hotel due to the quality customer service, facilities it offered and its proximity within the SultanAhmet zone. I have to say I was not disappointed at all, but infact blown away by the high standards this hotel maintained , and also bonus point , how close this hotel was to blue mosque and aya sofia . The staff were quite proactive and very knowledgeable with respect to making our holiday experience excellent , they did this through sharing good insight into relevant tourism spots, and also helpful with logistics to get there. My Wife and I found the breakfast superb, good healthy range of choices, and also nice cakes with coffee to spoil our selves. The staff most importantly were very accommodating and listened to our needs, and reflected accordingly. The hotel management staff including helping staff made our stay extremely comfortable and would definitely come to stay here again.

Loved the location, the back gate opens into mosque area, so coinvent. Its close to grand bazaar & spice market, just 2-3 stops by tramp. Breakfast was amazing at roof top with 360 view & staff is very helpful & kind.

We had taken the deluxe room - Mosque view which was on level 5, the view was great, but the level was run down. The other levels 2-4 were renovated, the owner said they are renov L5 in Jan 2022.

Armagrandi Spina has an absolutely standout location. It's on a pedestrian street literally in between the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. It's also not that hard for taxis to get to, since they can drive on Kennedy Caddesi and make an easy turn - many hotels in Sultanahmet require you to sit in a lot of traffic to get in/out. Room was small. The bathroom had a sliding door since there wasn't enough room between the bed and the bathroom for a regular door. Work space was also small. Breakfast was good.

Seemed substantially more expensive than comparable Sultanahmet hotels.

The receptionist was very attentive to us despite arriving at 02:00am. The location between two major landmarks is good, with restaurants in walking distance and the tour bus station nearby. The upgraded Deluxe suite was comfortable and spacious.

This is not about "like or dislike", but something that needs to be taken into account. The great direct view of the Blue Mosque comes with a close hearing distance from its minarets. As you surely know, the morning prayer in Islam can begin very early, so you have to be prepared to hear it. It is actually beneficial if you want to take the most out of your available time in the city, but if you, like us, go to sleep well past midnight, you will probably be awoken early in the morning.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The majority of the most significant cultural heritage sites are within a radius of a couple of hundred meters. Even though it is in the centre of events, it is quiet and peaceful. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is done daily on request. Fresh towels brought to the rooms every morning. Breakfast is traditional and extremely delicious. Don’t skip it. ☺️

There wasn’t anything significant that I didn’t like. Everything was great.
