The hotel location is perfect for everything you want to see and do. Walking distance to the main areas and right next to the tram line. The rooms are comfy and the staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic and we ate well each morning. The Spa is also wonderful and we were well recommended on the Turkish Bath, massage and sauna. The hotel is great and we will be back again!

The room was a little hot sometimes and so we had to open the windows but nothing major!

Thin walls, loud doors. We also had a bad experience with taxi, ordered by hotel, when leaving. staff kindly ordered the taxi, but at the end taxi driver demanded 200 Turkish Liras extra (on top of the amount from the taxi-meter) for highway. That wasn’t the case when taking taxi from the airport. But i guess this was not the fault of the hotel staff.

The family room was quite large, clean and so was the bathroom. It was filled with a lot of shower amenities. There was a kettle in the room with a lot of tea options. A rarity these days for some reason. The staff were really helpful, hospitable offering us tea or coffee every time we were in the lobby and answered my emails promptly. The breakfast was also quite decent and the breakfast room spacious. It has an elevator, which was also good especially for older parents.

The hotel is located on a narrow street and my mom had issues with her knees and the airport transfer didn't come to the hotel door in the mornings (it can come in the late evening). This was an issue as the streets are on an incline and for people with mobility issues, it can be a problem. We also didn't like the bospherous boat tour that was recommended at 50 Euros per head, the food was subpar and the entertainment quite loud, not the most skilled and kitschy with belly dancers etc. The boat smelled like cigarette smoke as there was a small area outside to smoke and the smell kept wafting in.

Right from booking my experience with Pell Palace was positive , my inbound flight was delayed several times I was able to communicate this to the property as they had arranged a taxi service to meet my flight , upon arrival at the airport we went to the designated spot and , met and shown to the transport about an hour late we arrived at the hotel .I would strongly urge any traveller to avail themselves of this transfer option I used the same method to return to the airport again no issues at all very comfortable van and good driver .Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed check in was quick and I booked the return transfer to airport at this time .You pay Pell directly in Euros . The room whilst not large isn't cramped either we asked for two single beds that's what we got the decor and overall standard is very high I have payed much more for a lot less , the room etc was spotless and at the rear of the hotel so very quiet , good strong shower , kettle etc, digital safe hardwood flooring a/c and opening windows , very modern tv built into the wall I think at this price point you would have to be pretty harsh to find any fault everything worked the elevator was as clean as the rooms . Breakfast is served each morning and all staff seem intent on making sure all runs smoothly .Everyone seems invested in the hotel/job, Simban a gentleman from Nepal is very friendly and always watchful of the customers needs . I would return without hesitation it is 10 mins to the Blue Mosque etc and 10 mins if that to the Grand markets and the labyrinth of streets and passages each packed with insane amounts of goods and sellers , having been to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Marrakesh nothing comes close after seeing the back alleys of Istanbul bring empty suitcases , whole streets are often dedicated to an item eg shoes, or anything else you care to name , I saw shops that sold only zips or coat hangers !

Not over keen on many breakfast items but I am a fussy eater with limited taste it is catering for a more exotic palate than mine . A subjective thing but I found the beds a bit over firm and could do with extra pillows .

Wow what can I say about Pell palace hotel and Spa. The experience has been unforgettable. From the hotel, to the staff & service, it has been faultless. I was made to feel at home. Staff like Nazir, Eyup, Kaan, and Yousef were fantastic. They really did go above and beyond the call of duty. Even our cleaner Semiha was amazing. She catered for every little thing. Whatever was asked for was provided. Overall this hotel is really nice. The breakfast is great. I was given great advice regarding things to do around Istanbul. It was a perfect stay. Thank you everyone for making this amazing.

Hotel is situated well near the old centrum, but just of the main roads so it is not too crowed/noisy. Hygiene is good and you can arrange through the hotel a driving service that has a fair price and ready on time. Bathroom is clean and has good water pressure even on the highest floor.

Rooms a little bit dated and showed signs of use. Come to breakfast on time, later in the morning the spread of the buffet is smaller due to somethings not getting refills anymore.

Second stay in this hotel in the last two months! Everything is so clean and staff are very nice

Kadri, Kaan and the rest of the team were welcoming as soon we arrived. They gave us ideas about what to visit and see, where we could find anything we needed and answered any questions we had. Breakfast was fab, each morning it was set up and ready to go with staff on hand if you needed any help. Kaan helped with the coffee shop on site and made the best Mocha's whenever I needed a drink! A bonus is that there is a SPA onsite, and if you pay in cash you can get 50% off the spa treatments that you book. Would definitely come back again! Rob & Libby

The walls of the rooms are quite thin, as are most buildings in Istanbul, so if you have noisy neighbours in the rooms next to you then you might want to get some ear plugs!

Amazing stay! Stayed in a triple room with friends, very hot shower it was beautiful! We had breakfast included but did not wake up on time to have it so I’m not sure. Reasonable price for the quality of hotel and facilities. The grand bazaar is a short 5 minute walk away and was a must visit! The staff at reception were so lovely and kind. We asked to check out a bit later as our flight wasn’t until late evening and they allowed this with no problems. All the reception staff were so kind and helpful. They showed us a good place to eat when we arrived as it was late and we had not eaten. One staff member guided us there himself which we were very grateful for. Cannot recommend this enough. My friends and I WILL be back later in the year for sure. Thank you to the whole team at Pell Palace Hotel and Spa!!!!

The room was at the front end of the street and so in the morning you could hear some noises. Shutting the window firmly should block this out hopefully.

Location was absolutely perfect close to all the tourists attractions. Rooms were spacious enough and cleaned every day. Breakfast was good a nice Turkish variety of foods. I would like to say thank you to all the staff for always being so helpful and kind, especially Sabin and Kadri. Cannot forget about the cafe which was great my parents were always catered to in the lobby and made to feel very comfortable. We also received a gift souvenir towards the end of our stay which was very thoughtful and sweet. I would 100% Recommend this place! Thank you once again to all :)

Only thing I would like to recommend would be the hazards to be looked at for future customers due to a minor injury that I sustained.
