The property was gorgeous and in a great location with amazing views of the ocean. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable with all of the nice extras like keurig coffee maker, instant hot water kettle, robes. The patios were great to hang out on and watch the waves and the seagulls and pelicans. On our last night we saw dolphins. The pool and hot tub were great. The staff were all amazing since we first walked in. Ishmael was friendly and was able to switch us to a first floor since my mom has a bad knee and we wanted ocean front. He also gave us restaurant suggestions and explained where everything was on the property. Even the landscapers had a smile on their faces in passing. There were always workers around maintaining the property so the resort fee is worth it. The breakfast setup was nice but the hot food could be one step up in my opinion. Overall we had an amazing stay and already want to come back.

Not much, grounds were amazing . There was a strong smell of pelican/seagull feces close to the gazebo area but I’m not sure there is much that can be done about that. I would suggest maybe planting more lavender bushes to help with the smell?

We spent 2 nights here and would've happily stayed longer! The hotel is situated right on the coast, the rooms are spacious, with balcony, big comfy beds and fabulous bathrooms, we had wonderful views across the ocean and up the coast (when the fog cleared!) Breakfast was varied though the breakfast room did get very busy. The pool area is wonderful, the heated pool is huge. Pool towels are provided. The only downside is the smell from the nesting birds.

The parking charge, just seems a bit daft that its either not baked into the rate or absorbed by the hotel.

We loved the location of the hotel, the views were breathtaking. We loved the binoculars provided, a very nice touch. I enjoyed yoga on the cliffs every day of our stay, it was the perfect beginning for my day. We also enjoyed the breakfast included in the price of the room.

The outside smell was very unpleasant due to the birds living on the cliff. I believe the parking lot and outdoor hotel grounds should be washed regularly to minimize the smell.

Breakfast was a big improvement on the morning fare in other hotels because there were options that were low sugar, wholemeal bread was available and the coffee was good. The view in the oceanfront room spectacular and worth the extra cost make sure to request a second floor room. The pool was absolutely gorgeous, heated, supersized and deep.

There were little things like sticking doors and no lift that may impact some people but for us it was perfect.

Beautiful location with a great view! The room was nice and clean, the pool was great, the breakfast was excellent, and the hotel was really walking friendly. You can access the beach and walk all the way to Pismo downtown and get a drink or two and walk home. Also if you don't want to walk that far, there are restaurants very close by along the beach as well that are walkable.

The tap water wasn't great. Perhaps the hotel can offer filtered water stations somewhere, or alternatively a water refill station in the reception area.

The free yummy breakfast, the staff was helpful , the beautiful view, the clean pool towels that were ready to use, next to the warm pool/ jacuzzi, downtown pismo and the pier near thr hotel, the clean bedrooms the brunch buffet next to the hotel. Mu second time at shorecliff hotel and will be back again when in town! And will recommend it to friends and family. My friend who went with me was instantly thinking about coming back with her husband to the same location and hotel.

The pool is amazing! Huge, and deep. The hot tub is nice and warm all night. The rooms are so large and the view is to die for . Highly recommend you stay here if you go to Pismo. Breakfast is amazing and different each day! They have great restaurants near by. Dog friendly town and everyone is super friendly. Only 5 min walk from the beach .

The room was great and our view couldn't have been better. We were on the second floor with pool and ocean view, amazing.

I wish the booking would have added the parking fee to totals instead of having to pay for parking at the site, otherwise everything else was great.

Cozy hotel on the coast, stunning view from the room. You can walk along the shore to the beach and pier. Breakfast is varied (scramble, sausages, oatmeal, waffles, fruits, yoghurts, etc.)

There are many pelicans and seagulls on the shore, so the smell from the birds reaches the balcony. If this doesn't bother you, then no problem :-)

my key to door kept demagnetizing and I had to go to office 4 different time to get my keycard fixed and the 3rd time the man I’m office when I told him I was getting upset he raise his hands like he didn’t want to hear it I was so upset because I kept getting locked out of my room
