The hotel's proximity to I-84 and the fact that it seemed safe.

The desk clerk made me post a "damages/theft" bond when checking in. Made me feel like a criminal. I'm over 70 years old and extremely respectable looking. Also, the drain plug in the bathtub didn't work so my arthritis didn't get the hot soak it usually gets before bed. The bathroom needed freshening in terms of the marks on the back of the door. A small thing but it detracted from the image of the property.

The beds were very comfy, facilities like keys and door latches worked, the breakfast was terrific, the other guests friendly. The front desk staff were very patient, though they had a lot of elaborate routines to put me through, signing in. When I left they called me a cab that was prepaid on an Uber app.

Their elevator had been out of order for a long time, ever since we booked, months ago. They had been very up front about it, apparently it was an issue involving spare parts that had to come from overseas, which were about to arrive. They apologized for the busted elevator when I checked in, but it didn’t turn out to be a problem. It wasn’t a big hassle to carry our luggage up the stairs,

Very comfortable and very clean rooms and facility, had a great time staying and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was excellent, I'll definitely be staying here again!

There wasn't anything I didn't like, excellent place and stay!

Breakfast was Phenomenal

I Didn't like the fact that they didn't had no microwave and the room had a problem with the refrigerator did not work over heated and toilet which overflowed when you use it and flush it water 🌊💦 went everywhere,had to change to a different floor and room

The breakfast offered was very appetizing. Sonia, the attendant who oversaw the breakfast was very friendly and maintained the area where the food was served clean and well stocked. I expected a “continental breakfast” and was pleasantly surprised with food, staff and environment. Will seriously consider staying at Comfort Inn in the future.

I liked being on the first floor near the breakfast area. The room had a fresh clean smell upon entering. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was hot and had adequate choices. The first time, there were eggs, and bacon. Assorted muffins, yogurt , hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice, cereal, instant oatmeal. Second day was similar but hash browns were added. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our breakfast attendant, Sonia was attentive to guests needs as well as very friendly. I enjoyed my brief talk with her. I liked that staff wore masks.

I did not like the carpet in the room or on upper floors (had to use vending machine). Those carpets need to be shampooed or removed especially now with COVID, they are beyond dirty. I think it would have been helpful if guests were asked to wear their masks outside of their room despite CT masks reduction. Although some people may be vaccinated, the risk of transmission is still possible. I did not like that there wasn’t a microwave in the room as only suites had them, but being on the first floor gave me access to breakfast area that had one which I did use. I think 2.50 for detergent was overpriced. In addition, it would have been nice if the detergent was available in the laundry room instead of 4th floor.

The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also clean. That's a big deal to me. The hotel was right off the highway so it is in a convenient location. There is a restaurant nearby. We slept in so we did not get a chance to eat the free breakfast so we cannot speak on that but the eating area and lobby are pretty comfortable and in order. This is not that far from downtown Hartford. There is a workout room right on the first floor that had a few machines. The customer service was lacking. The front desk clerk seemed irritated and was fussing with someone on the phone. He then was very short with us while waiting on us. To his defense, there were a few people waiting at the desk and he was the only one working. Maybe it was just a bad day for him.

I don't really have any dislikes outside of the front desk clerk. Maybe he should have went to the back to 30 seconds to regroup before he continued to wait on us. Other than that, this is a good place to lodge.

We weren't aware that breakfast ended at 9am. When we arrived in the breakfast room we were told. However, the staff member on duty (Sonia, I believe) was extremely kind and accommodating. She made sure we were taken care of even though it was 9:20am. She was exceptional and should be rewarded for her outstanding customer care.

The noise level between rooms and from the road. Even with the window closed you could hear every car that drove past.

Staff was so pleasant and helpful. The lady that did the breakfast ( Sandra) she was the nicest and most pleasant person, also your front desk staff was excellent

There’s room for improvement with the cleaning 😅. Dust on top of fountain drink machine that is used during breakfast. Room was dirty and dusty.
