1. Not in Patong Beach area (thus no noise or traffic), but you can reach to/from there by a taxi or TokTok (THB 250-300), or book free shuttle service in advance. 2. Has its own beach (although rocky and you can’t swim). 3. Rooms have full amenities you need, with very comfortable beds and sheets. 4. Very nice free-shape swimming pool with designated area for kids.

1. There is only close grocery shop nearby, but if you can walk for 10 min, there is a 7-Eleven close, but the you need to walk uphill in the way back. 2. You need to book well in advance the Spa service (over-booked). Otherwise, there is an excellent massage place in Patong (Let’s Relax).

A resort hotel, with several large pools. The rooms are of a very high standard, and the food is also very good. Everything you need for a vacation of calm and peace without leaving the hotel. The hotel has a private beach, you can take kayaks and do snorkeling and rest (at times when there is no low tide). It is more a hotel for families and less for couples (many families with children were there). There are also shuttles from the hotel to the central area for those interested free of charge by the hotel during certain hours. The service there was excellent also in the food we asked for other things we got what we asked for.

We are just back from a 9 day stay at the Marriott and it was the best holiday we have ever had The private beach and free kayak, paddle boards, and snorkel equipment was used every day, also free table tennis, table football, pool, chess Evening entertainment included fire dancers 3 lovely pools, one purposely designed for kids with foam blower and one with a swim up bar were brilliant Most of the rooms over look the pool, big spacious bathroom (with a huge bath..!!), powerful shower that worked with hot water instantly, lovely towels, lovely lobby area with complimentary drink on arrival Fantastic choice of breakfast, with even a honeycomb dripping with fresh honey..! This can be taken at either of the two breakfast areas, one overlooking the beach, helpful friendly staff and a Starbucks, Being away from the madness of Bangla Road is perfect, taxi into town is 250 baht, approx 400 to return well designed hotel which we would definately recommened

We were charged, wait for it, 2800 baht, approx £70...!!!!!!,to get to freedom beach from merlin Beach by the Longtail boat operator, a journey of approx 5 minutes...!!! The beach is just around the headland and is 250 baht by taxi so be aware, Drinks are pretty expensive but the beach/massage place is much cheaper We arrived at 10:00 after a long flight but had to pay 3000 baht to get into our room early even though it was ready, would have been nice to just get in for free, but, hey, its a business spa is a bit pricey I agree with the comment about people bagging the sunbeds at 7:00 or earlier, its so unfair and completely selfish but not clear how to stop it

Loved the kids stuff as we have a toddler - she loved the Pet Care corner and the kids club (and we appreciated the 8am opening time). The kids menu was pretty good and lots of shallow pool areas to play in (plus slide and splashy fountain areas). Staff were all very friendly and we loved the house reef - go at high tide there's a kind of sandy channel down from the middle if the beach, swim out til you see last coconut tree on the left and you'll be at the reef - lots to see and super convenient/comfortable to swim.

The inner fountains (connecting the pools) need a bit of a clean. Also some small tiles have come off fountain feature in baby pool. The patisserie/viennoisserie selection was good but all were a little dry/underwhelming. Overall though these are very minor things - we loved our stay and would definitely recommend the resort!

It was our second stay in last 6 month, this is very special hotel and once you stay there you can understand how they can make you happy, special staff , positive energy , nice location, special pool access room, great facility , totally you will be like to come back again and it’s unforgettable stay … we had 4 pool access room and all was clean and perfect , the room service is nice and fast once you ask them , just plz keep one room key if you go to pool by terrace , if they do clean up then will lock the terrace door regularly 😆

The breakfast is big issue and last time also i had mention the weakness is food and beverage quality , specially for breakfast this hotel have no enough space, variety of food is not very good and quality and taste also is not good, coffee machine always have problem and just you need to order your drinks by staff , pool bar is small and very busy on regular times , but they will try the best to serve you on pool beds …

Beautiful scenery, staff very well trained and well behaving, high quality spa. The nature in the resort and surroundings is really awesome.

The hotel needs renovation. The beach was low tide affected most of the day. A green snake was sharing the beach paradise with us on our first morning, which was creating a discomfort for the rest of our stay.

The resort has everything you need to relax and enjoy your time. We had a full inclusive package and enjoyed it. There are 4 restaurants with wide offer, kids menu as well, and the staff is simply amazing. We have been pleasantly surprised with how friendly it is for families, we have a 4 year old kid. Kids pool and kids club with lots of activities, a playground...he's had so much fun!

The beach is lovely but has lots of rocks and debris of corals upon entering the water. You'll need shoes to bathe and for young kids is not exactly the best. It makes up for it with the swimming pool. The location of the resort is away from the chaos of Patong and that for us is a plus, but everytime you need to go out with a taxi you'll need to pass through it and face the traffic that eats some time.

The private beach was great - I saw previous complaints about the rocks during low tide but it was fun for snorkeling at all times. Swimming was nice during high tide. Massive pools with swim up bars, we made the most out of happy hour. Rooms were comfy and clean. Breakfast was fantastic, staff were friendly. We loved our stay.

Not all of the restaurants were open yet, but understandable because of covid. The food at the restaurants was fairly average and expensive, but convenient. Aside from that, all was excellent!

We enjoyed staying at the hotel. Rooms are well taken care of, and they are spacious enough. A good choice of quality food for breakfast. The staff is very friendly, and they try to help when needed. A hotel is an excellent option for those with kids. There are many things to do for them while adults can relax a bit, like swimming pools, activity room, evening cartoons on the grass etc. There are also restaurants a la cart if you don't want to go anywhere. It takes 10 min by car to get to Patong. A few good Thai restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel with a serene view of the ocean.
