The staff were very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was basic but clean on the whole and reasonable rates. Although the motel is just off a very busy road (A1) and quite noisy with traffic, it is right beside a food hall, with plenty of choice , M & S, WH Smith, McDonald's, KFC, a noodle bar, Mexican, fish & chip place that also does a cooked breakfast in the morning. It was handy for us as quite near to the places we wanted to visit

Nothing really, some people may find it a bit busy with the traffic as it's just off a major road

My room was spacious and comfortable with everything I needed for my one night stay. I asked for a room near to the entrance and they literally put me in the first room, so convenient with heavy bags and constant in and out. Really handy having all amenities next to it, was able to grab dinner, and breakfast and anything I may have needed from a shop.

Just one thing really... All the lights were over one end of the room rather than the middle and the bedside lights were pretty dim, so I could have done with a brighter light to read by at the bedside.

really clean, bed was so comfortable, rooms are a really lovely size, water pressure was really good for a shower (except the shower was faulty)

shower was faulty but still just about managed to have a shower, I did report this to reception. being asked if I was pregnant but the receptionist made me feel like rubbish, no need to ask that kind of question.

I took my 3 year old son away for the weekend and this hotel was at a half way point. Easy to find and with a large playground, he was happy! We opted to use the breakfast that comes with the hotel, this box was fine if you just want milk and cereal with some juice. Staff were very friendly.

No communal microwave for son's hot milk, we boiled some water to heat it up.

I haven't stayed at this hotel for a while and was delighted to see some old faces/staff still working there. I thank Yvette and Mileana for their great efforts in ensuring that my stay went accordingly and smoothly. I look forward to seeing them soon. Large spacious clean tidy room with all the usual refinements ensures a great relaxing atmosphere and ideal night's sleep. Ample parking on site to.

Room was less faded than some, and very well cleaned. Shower in particular was very good, plenty of power and really hot water. The bed and mattress were fine, firm and comfortable. One slight observation was that the ventilation/heating/aircon fan was noisy. Wasn't a problem as we didn't need it, but in hotter weather it might be annoying. Staff, as always, were excellent. Friendly and efficient, even though some of them work very long hours.

At this price point, the facilities are all one might expect. It would be nice to have a little fridge in the room, even if you could rent a small portable fridge or cool box for the duration of the stay.

Rooms very clean, has sticker over door to say its been cleaned correctly. decent TV Instant hot water, plenty of it. Massive shower large room, Powerpoints not quite next to bed but closer than most places i have stayed good blackout curtains if you dont need to be up too early

I understand its hard to solve this, but it was very hot in corridors and room. and wasnt even a very hot summers day second night I did manage to have a fan for the room. there is heating in the room which says it can go down to 5oc but this unit did not produce cold air. window only opened slighty as was on security chain. second night was cooler so slept under the blanket, could feel all the springs in the mattress

It would have been nice to have smaller bottles of wine available, which we would have purchased. It was disappointing to have the link corridor closed to food services as it was before.

The overall stay was impeccable and absolutely Awswome thanks to Yvette who does housekeeping who ensured all went accordingly and smoothly throughout my stay. It was also nice to see Jay on reception again to with his warm welcoming friendly personality. Thanks guys looking forward to returning soon.

Was able to check in a little early and had ground floor room

Pillows were like rocks!! Facilities were basic with only two towels, no bath mat and wardrobe had the doors removed. Loo paper so thin you needed a lot more so not really economical is it. However room was clean enough if rather shabby with marks on the wall.
