Staff were helpful and kind. Room was clean and cleaned every day. Bathroom had a lovely large shower for this plus sized grandmother with Clean towels everyday.

One thing was lift out of order and I was on the 3rd floor, it was inconvenient but that’s all. Not such a big deal to be honest and the hospitality made up for it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had booked 2 nights with the Maiden Oval and another hotel for another 2 nights. When we arrived at the other hotel it was terrible, so to cut a long story short we phoned up Maiden Oval at 12am to see if they could give us a room at short notice. The receptionist was amazing and gave us a room. Unfortunately I don’t have the gentleman’s name but he had great customer service and was extremely helpful.

Very small room but very clean and tidy. More than good enough to use as a base to go into London. Staff very friendly and helpful, I would certainly use again if needed to stay in London overnight. Well done.

Perhaps could offer some form of breakfast but in saying that there are plenty of places nearby that you can use I would not be put off staying for this reason...just a sugestion.

Great value for money, basic rooms but clean and well maintained/ equipped. The reception staff were all very friendly. Nice and close to the tube station and some great food options nearby - I recommend bokitla outside the church up the road.

Crowds of drunken cricket fans - not the hotels fault though and probably great if you're one of them.

The rooms although small were modern and comfortable

As the hotel faces Clapham road you will get constant road noise and a LOT of Emegency vehicles throughout the night. The windows do not block any of the noise. Also you can feel and hear the tube trains below. My room was on the third floor and I could still hear/feel them!

Spent a couple of nights here. Received a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. My room was well equipped and very clean. The bed was nice and comfy. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the oval underground station which is ideal for exploring London. The hotel is very reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Great location for cricket at the oval. Pleasant staff. A really good budget option.

No AC, no mini fridge and the hot water failed while we were there. The former two issues I think probably just reflect the price point. The latter could just be bad luck I suppose.

Location was great, right next to the oval station. Food and bars within walking distance and very clean.

Only a small fan so the room was a bit warm at night time in the middle of summer. Room was a little small but at the end of the day value for money.

Good value for money, excellent location for cricket at The Oval, very clean, pleasantly surprised that the room was 'made up' every day.

The room was warm so a fan would be a welcome addition, but it was extremely hot weather so may not usually be an issue.
