top Location, great views, amazing staff, great food, nice beach

too noisy. bad doors / isolation insider three building and on the balcony. the breakfast hall is in the middle of the hallways, therefore loud when they do preparations/cleaning. once there was vacuuming at 1am. in that hall are also entrances to some restaurants where music and people can get loud. three worst thing was the Oktoberfest. 10 days long. horrible music, horrible singer, too long, too late, EVERY DAY! We wouldn't have booked had we known that. due to bad isolation it was really annoying and was impossible to sleep

The breakfast is really, really amazing. Chefs make fried eggs any way you like. Chefs make pancakes for you with whipped cream and strawberry's. There is Asian cuisine, there are all kinds of pastry, there are always multiple cakes (the banana cakes is delicious). There are baked tomatoes, mushrooms, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, diced fruit, whole fruit, orange juice, banana smoothies, beetroot juice, soy milk, all types of yoghurts and serials, all kinds of buns and bread. There is also local cuisine... There is also a salad bar with smoked salmon and all kinds of cheeses... There is even more than I listed and all is really really perfect .. and this is only breakfast. The gym and pool are huge and clean and very well maintained. As is the garden and beach. This is really an oasis IN the city. You can enter the Abu Dhabi mall directly from the hotel...

The hotel is very well presented, great facilities and restaurants. Staff are helpful and forthcoming, too. Checking in and out was very easy and a smooth process. The Beach facility at the hote is fantastic too. It's a great place to hang out all day and relax, especially in the middle of a city.

The layout of the rooms is little to be desired. For instance, access to a plug socket - they're all hidden behind something so you have to move furniture out of the way and unplug a lamp or another piece of equipment to charge your electronic devices. Nearly every traveller will have something they need charging. The other bugbear was the noise in the hotel. I'm an early to bed, early to rise person. Trying to go to sleep at 10pm is quite difficult as the noise carries from the lobby, fountains and outside restaurants to the room. I was on the 7th floor, the furthest away from ground level and I could still hear all this noise through my door.

Fantastic Staff... this was a very nice hotel. But the staff really made it 5 star, I think a smile and friendly welcome makes a huge difference, the hotel has a lovely atmosphere The only slight thing, the beach area was very crowded, when we arrived there were no beds left, but... the staff put more out when they saw us standing there looking, and sorted it. They even moved the new beds and set them up for us. So very good service

Hotel facilities are old and the price is very high

The location is excellent, also there is direct access to the mall. The hotel's beach and pool were clean and enjoyable. The breakfast was rich, the selection was wide and the service was efficient. Fantastic staff, so friendly and helpful, upon arrival, we were given another room that suited our family even better. Thank you!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Abu Dhabi, and we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We would like to express our gratitude and share our delightful experience at this wonderful establishment. Upon arrival, we requested a non-smoking room, but to our surprise, the receptionist informed us that all non-smoking rooms were occupied. However, the manager went above and beyond our expectations by upgrading us to a luxurious suite with a Jacuzzi. This gesture was incredibly kind and highly appreciated. It set the tone for a memorable and enjoyable stay. Despite the hotel's bustling location, we were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and tranquil our room was. We could unwind and relax without any disturbances, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. The hotel's connection to Abu Dhabi Mall was also a huge convenience. We loved having direct access to a wide range of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. It made exploring the city hassle-free, and we didn't have to venture far to find everything we needed.

Nice restaurants, kind staff

For a 5-star hotel, the rooms should not be so uninsulated, actually everything could be heard from both rooms, every conversation, talking, moving things... it sounds like you have all these people in the same room. disappointment. I didn’t like the smell of perfume in the hotel, in the corridors… I would suggest that the hotel does not allow the guests reserved the sunbeds by towl and live them an empty untill they come… by the pool and the beach.

The hotel is in a good location with easy access to The Galleria, Abu Dhabi Mall, Saadiyat Island, etc. There is a nice variety of restaurants and the Zen Spa is very relaxing and well-appointed. The gym is also very nice with lots of the latest equipment. Staff are very friendly and the overall hotel is kept clean and tidy.

On more than one occasion we were woken up during the night or could not get to sleep due to noise coming from an adjacent room. As this is an older hotel I do not think there is sufficient noise canceling in the walls to prevent this from happening.

Upon arrival, we were told that we had booked an apartment in the Residences, which was not really the case, as our booking was in the hotel tower. I pointed this out, and the staff admitted that our reservation was indeed for the Hotel and not for the Residences and eventually arranged for us the type of accommodation that we had booked. Although we were initially quite upset, I have to praise the staff for making up their initial mistake. Clients usually mention only (or mainly) the bad experiences, but I believe that it is important to mention the positive aspects too. The Hotel is of course a great hotel, and we can only recommend it to everybody.

The breakfast service was a bit chaotic. We were given a table and when we came back with our dishes, it was occupied by another person. We realised that although seating was arranged, people were taking seats randomly and at will. The variety of breakfast dishes was satisfactory.
