Food was excellent and well priced. There was a great selection for breakfast as well! The location was perfect for us as well, close to everything we needed. The room was lovely but there small bits that let it down; the skirting boards were quite dusty and was only noticed as a was drying some spilt water and it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't make the room colder as it was very very warm.

The only thing would have been the attention to detail in the room. As previously mentioned, it could've been a little cleaner. The shower door was difficult to manoeuvre as well, we were very cautious with it as we weren't sure what way it opened.

ALL the staff were super polite and friendly. Worthy of special mention: the head bar man who gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived tired and hungry. He mixed us some amazing cocktails (told us he was from Australia - as was my cousin who I was travelling with) & the lovely Elena from Romania, a skilled waitress with the biggest smile and fantastic recommendations from the really good food menu served in the restaurant. Breakfasts were also really good too. 😊

Signage around the hotel was a little confusing to follow but no big issues. A great stay 😊

We actually stayed here, along with our family, for our wedding! Staff were so friendly at check in and throughout our stay! Any questions we had they were happy to answer. Beds were so comfortable! We stayed in the executive suite and it was a nice bonus to see there was a washing machine - made it super convenient since we were just travelling with carry ons. Bathrooms were nice and spacious, the shower was nice and big as well. There is no outlet beside the sink like there is in North America, but there was a separate area in the living space with a mirror and outlets for me to use my hair tools and get ready. I also went to the spa for a massage and the facilities and staff were amazing! My massage was wonderful and it was the perfect way to relax. For the amount of nights we stayed and the room we stayed in, the price was great! We booked far in advance so it was likely cheaper to book then as opposed to booking closer to check in date. Wedding Related Info: -They were so accommodating the morning of the wedding: letting us know when hair & makeup, photographers, flowers, etc. arrived. -The getting ready process was pretty good in the Executive Suite - lots of room, but the lighting isn't the greatest. I understand this isn't important for most travellers, but just including it in case someone else is planning on booking this stay for their wedding. Overall a wonderful stay and if we return to Aberdeen we will certainly book here again!

I am not sure if it was a tiny bit of mold, but in the shower there were little black spots in the small areas between the floor and glass walls. It was still fine and otherwise clean (no hair or dirty spots on the walls or floor), but that was the only part of my stay that wasn't 'perfect'!

The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, the bathrooms are great and the hotel in general has a lovely feel to it, great decor and lots of room. My children loved it also, a very family friendly hotel. You get alot of room for the rate you pay.

The restaurant wasn't great, I wouldn't say it was value for money though I am a bit of a foodie, you can get much better food for less in other restaurants in Aberdeen. They could cook a steak quite well, but all that came with it was mediocre, a touch cold and really quite bland with very little flavour for the amount it costs. We also ordered 4 different drinks and the poor waitress had to keep coming back to our table and say it wasn't available. The parking isn't ideal, I know you can't book parking in general however it would be good if you could reserve a disabled bay as 3 of the disabled bays in the main carpark were occupied by non blue badge holding cars.

We’ve been travelling around the UK/Ireland for the last six weeks and have stayed in dozens of hotels. This had been the best so far. Great location, comfortable bed, great shower and a fantastic restaurant down stairs. What makes it the best though, is the staff. We had washing to do as we hadn’t done laundry for a week. We dropped our laundry off at the front desk first thing and were told it’d be back that afternoon. The motel contacted us a couple of hours later and informed us that the laundry contractor wouldn’t be able to get the laundry done until late the next day. No good to us as we were checking out early. But we were desperate to get it done. We were back at the motel around lunch time and asked to collect our dirty washing only to be told that one of the staff (Sharon) had decided she would do our washing for us, amazing. We were travelling with another couple as well which doubled the amount…..(and the motel didn’t even bill us for it, but we left a tip off course for Sharon) Thank you Sandman for outstanding service during our stay. Your front of house staff are amazing helpful and very friendly.

Beautiful hotel! Loved the styling throughout. High ceilings and gorgeous features. The room was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. Lovely bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Whisky bar was lovely and we enjoyed breakfast too. Fantastic location for central Aberdeen, perfect for His Majesty's Theatre. I'll definitely be back.

It was a warm August day, we had to keep both windows open during the night and have the fan on which obviously added to noise from both. Didn't spoil our stay in the slightest but AC or silent fans for the Summer would be helpful. I'm sure it's lovely and cosy in colder months.

Very surprised by this hotel, the design from the outside was very discreet but the inside was designed, modern and elegant. The breakfast was one of the most pleasant one that I experience during my trip in Scotland and so was the bed room.

The entrance of the hotel is very discreet, almost too discreet you would miss it if you were not looking for it. The hotel layout was a bit confusing at times, so be sure that you remember how to get to your room (though, you will find new paths after). Finally, you can't really open the windows towards the street, it could get very noisy, either sea gulls or rowdy passersby. But this can be solved with a closed window.

Soon as we walked through the door we were welcomed with a smile and polite ,friendly staff who gave excellent customer service and the decor was absolutely stunning. One of my son said he would give it 100 out of 10 haha. The Room was comfortable and clean with everything we could need on hand and loved the shower with optional heads. Room smelled good with no odd odours or stains on anything and well presented and excellent value for money. The chop grill and bar was amazing and the food was excellent and the staff were fantastic and one of the waiting Staff I think her name was Cherie?? Was fantastic with my boys and made us all feel so welcomed and we will definitely be back as we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend and this will be our go to hotel from now on when visiting Aberdeen.

It’s very clean and well decorated! Rooms were modern and the reception area/lounge was nice and quirky. Staff on reception were helpful.

It was quite a lot of money for what it was. The restaurant staff (they are separate from the hotel) we’re very rude and didn’t let children in past a certain time. We’d been travelling and arrived late so we’re looking for a bite to eat and some drinks, 3 adults and one child. They wouldn’t let us in even for drinks and the staff were rude and we felt like they didn’t want to serve us. We paid a lot of money to stay in the hotel and didn’t think this would be an issue.
