Breakfast - There was a selection of fruit juices, cereal and grapefruit to start with followed by a cooked breakfast which was very nice. Room - The room was comfortable, not big but perfectly adequate. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The bathroom was modern, clean and the shower had plenty of heat. Location - excellent location, very close to the beach and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. What really stood out was the service from Linda. She is a lovely lady and very considerate. I was travelling down from Paisley and I knew I was going to be a bit early. Linda contacted me to advise me the room would be available before 3pm which was very kind of her and most convenient for me. Overall I would describe the hotel as a comfortable "no frills" hotel in an excellent location. The staff are very friendly, I felt very welcome there and I would definatley book again on my next trip to Ayr. On street parking is available in front of the hotel and across the road and I had no difficulty getting parked.

I had no issues at all.

The location is fantastic easy walking access to Ayr beach and esplanade, likewise the city centre , ample parking near hotel. The rooms are very spacious , comfortable (bed especially) tea and coffee ect. The breakfast is outstanding freshly cooked , this was my third visit over 6 years and the standard has been the same , But by far the best feature has to be the staff and your host Linda nothing is to much trouble for them , will i return you bet I would ..thankyou again for a wonderful if brief stay ..

There isnt anything to dislike in my opinion .

The location could not have been better. Easily walkable to anywhere in town and to the beach. Bus station easy walk with luggage and all. Very clean and even though we had a small room there was plenty of space for us.

The receptionist knew we were early and also knew the room was ready, but did not make the effort to let us know that we could go ahead and check in before 3:00. That would have been nice and would have freed us up…although the housekeeper allowed us to keep our luggage inside til check in.

Linda is an exceptional and caring host and a nice person - it was a pleasure to chat with her about the region, the sights etc. I really enjoyed my time at the Arrandale! I had a small single bedroom which had all the essentials and a sink plus an external but private bathroom. Everything was neat and clean, the breakfast was good, there is a common area/living room downstairs and it's only a very short walk to the coast. Absolute recommendation!

LOCATION IS EXCELLENT. WHEN GOING THERE, DONT GO TO THE BLUE LAGOON UP THE ROAD THE STANDARDS HAVE WENT DOWN MASSIVELY SINCE IT BECAME A PART OF THIS CHAIN OF EATERIES...HIGHLY RECOMMEND "MARCOS" NEXT DOOR!

The owner was so welcoming and willing to do my silly early breakfast even at the weekend due to me having a competition, went over and above. The room was very clean and very comfy, located in the middle of Ayr was perfect and the price was fantastic.

Having a seperate bathroom, but i knew this before booking so didnt really phase me that much and being up.very early at the weekend meant no one seen me running the short distance half dresssed. Hahaha.

The room was comfortable, spacious, and relaxing. The staff were welcoming, polite, friendly, and all-around brilliant. The location is great with the town centre and the beach both walking distance. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and an added bonus.

Nothing, the hotel is the best one I have stayed in.

Stayed overnight for a friend's wedding in Alloway. Such good value. Staff/owner couldn't be more accommodating and friendly! On arrival I was delighted to have received a free upgrade. The room was great. Had a delicious breakfast in the morning, and as my pickup was arriving a bit later, I was allowed to check out a little later with no issues. Fantastic service.. highly recommended if in Ayr or have something on industry surrounding areas.

Attending a family wedding which took place in another hotel which had nothing compared to here. This place is very cosy, inviting and the staff are excellent. Rooms are very comfortable. Linda and Co are doing a great job and couldn't do any more for us. I stayed with my 6yr old. He loved the cabinet in the hallway with the sovniers from Scotland which are very hard to get in the town, great idea. Very close to the beach and of course the fabulous playground. The town is close and plenty of eateries. Breakfast was delicious, very tasty and great value. Ate out on my first morning and paid huge money for a standard breakfast. Learned my lesson and ate here which was lovely. Thank you for everything.
