Excellent location within easy walking distance to Bath City centre, but at the same time in a quiet neighbourhood. Large choice in generous & very tasty breakfast options. Ling is a hospitable & attentive host. We’d definitely book to stay again when in the area.

Nothing negative about Apple Tree B&B or our host Ling. However, we didn’t find the Booking.Com website overly helpful in enabling us to make a choice of room. As a result we had been booked into a slightly smaller room without a seating area which is an option in room choice at this property.

The breakfast options were delicious. We had the full English breakfast and also the Scottish salmon. Ling was a lovely host, an easy conversationalist and happy to share local recommendations as well as snippets of her (interesting) life story. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The antique Asian decor was lovely. The location is fabulous - a short walk to the Bath cathedral and Roman Baths. We parked our car at the local Cricket club car-park and left it there for our two night stay. It's a short walk from The Apple Tree (and on the way to Bath city), but we offloaded our suitcases first then headed to the carpark. It's fine for able-bodied adults, but something to bear in mind if anyone has disabilities.

Not criticisms but considerations: The parking wasn't an issue for us (and was very reasonable as we weren't using the car during our stay) but is a short walk away. Also, consider the stair-cases to guest rooms for less physically able guests. We managed just fine.

Loved the genuine welcome and interesting conversations with Ling. Her breakfast and attention to detail in terms of decoration, highlights one of the highest quality B&Bs in the country. She was so accommodating in allowing our son to get himself ready for his graduation. The establishment is immaculate and her attention to detail is obvious to see. I would not hesitate in recommending Apple Tree as one of the best stays in Bath and the UK.

We absolutely loved our three nights at Apple Tree. From the moment we arrived Ling made us feel so welcome. She is the perfect host in every way. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was more than excellent and plentiful. Apple Tree is in a perfect location for exploring all that Bath has to offer. Overall this is a wonderful bed and breakfast and Ling has a beautiful soul. We were sad to say goodbye to her and her gorgeous cats.

We had a lovely stay host was great told us difference things we could go an see also we could come an go as we pleased we could park our car but not much space only really for 2 cars could really do with more parking an was no seating area outside which is a shame as we do like to sit outside if weather is nice with a coffee or tea or glass of wine for an afternoon or evening

The location of the Apple Tree made it an easy walk for us to see the main sites of Bath, also Ling had been able to allow us to park at the property for most of our visit, which resulted in a saving on parking costs. Another plus was when our car was iced up, Ling was very quick to inform us and assisted in de-icing. Ling checked with us on a daily basis with regards to the restaurants we had booked for our evening dinners, ensuring we had chosen well. A final parting gift from Ling was a bar of chocolate for our journey home-a first class host.

All aspects of our stay were positive- therefore, we have no negative points to record. The only aspect that could have improved our stay would be that the temperature of Bath could have been higher, but what do you expect when the whole of the country is below zero?!

Lovely breakfast. Amazing host - Ling was super friendly and knowledge about the area, but also gave us space and wasn’t intrusive on our stay. Top room was spacious with comfy bed. Really good distance to city centre, took us about 15 minutes to walk.

Tv was very small so couldn’t be seen very well from the bed, but that’s me being picky! Absolutely no big issues at all.

Love, Love, Love, would come back again and recommend whole heartedly- only a short walk from train station, short walk to all the action- house spotless- very comfortable and so quiet. Breakfast to die for. Host such a lovely informative lady. I must admit I wish all bed and breakfast’s were like this. Thankyou🌺

Nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Nice home owner. The cricket club parking was close by and costs 18 Pounds for 24 hours.

Nowhere to place your staff in the bathroom - not even a small shelf. It was hard to brush teeth or shave, and same for my wife. Room was a bit small but reasonable.

We loved everything about Apple Tree. The location is excellent, a short (safe) walk to the centre of Bath. The room and facilities were perfect and provided everything we needed and more. The breakfast was lovely, with a great range of options and all beautifully cooked. The host, Ling, is amazing. The perfect level of friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Ling gave us really helpful recommendations for our short stay, and made our experience of Bath extremely memorable. Will be recommending Apple Tree to all our friends and family, and hope to return soon ourselves!

We loved everything. The only downside was being unable to stay longer!
