There was an excellent wide choice of items for breakfast, and everything we selected was very good particularly the eggs and mushrooms. Our bathroom was outstanding, and great bathrobes were provided which is a rare luxury in a bed and breakfast. The bedroom was very large and very quiet, and well furnished. TV and internet connection all worked fine. There is ample parking at the house. The owners Heather and Jonathan are very friendly and will give you plenty of information about the town and the area. It's well worth reading the story of the house's restoration and looking at the photographs in the albums which the owners have left in the rooms for guests to read. In various places around the house there are some interesting items reflecting the past connection of Jonathan to Wales. The property is very well located in the town, just a couple of hundred metres from the high street where there is a very good pub with a distinctive selection of cask ale, and a good food offering. There is also a small supermarket with a cash machine facility, and a fish and chips shop. The town itself is easy to travel to and is not crowded. It's well situated for walking/hiking trips and for visits to many other nearby places in Nidderdale itself and in other Yorkshire Dales - historic houses, castles, abbeys, country parks and excellent garden centres, show caves, waterfalls, Brimham Rocks, How Stean Gorge.

There was nothing to dislike about the accommodation , everything was very good.

The house was was beautifully furnished and immaculate. It was full of thoughtful little touches like comforable chairs to sit by a window, a chess set, fresh milk and home cooked cake when we arrived. There was so much attention to detail; Heather had taken especial care that the bedroom was a comfortable temperature, for example. The shower is always a crucial feature in holiday accommodation and this was modern, clean, roomy, hot and efficient. There was plenty of space in the bathroom to put things and enough wonderful fluffy towels for 2 rugby teams. The breakfast was superb with a good choice of cooked dishes all prepared imaginatively and very professionally and all presented in delicate china and pretty dishes. The coffee, often disappointing in B&Bs and hotels, was excellent.

Short walk into Pateley Bridge meant we could leave the car and not have to use it for our stay. Spent our time walking around the very picturesque surrounding area. Clean comfortable room with everything we needed. Great breakfast to set us up for the day. Friendly inviting hosts.

Nothing wrong with the accommodation. Pateley Bridge could do with another pub and / or restaurant. But we were only there for 3 nights so were happy with what was available for that amount of time.

Absolutely stunning B&B, the loveliest couple run it and they could not have done more for us. The room was immaculate, bathroom gorgeous and we even got a cake and biscuits welcome pack! We were doing the Way of the Roses cycle and they secured our bikes for us and it is right on the route meaning no extra miles!

our bedroom was lovely. we did not like a bathroom down the corridor as we frequent the toilet at night and it’s very inconvenient when not in the room. the bathroom however was excellent just not in our room.

Great location for local village/ restaurants, bars and shops. Good walking routes on doorstep. Beautifully renovated house with delicious breakfast and thoughtful treats in the room.. the lemon drizzle cake was a triumph!

Excellent breakfast and comfortable room. Very easy access to Pateley's shops, cafes and restaurants. Pateley is steep and Kell House is above the town so access would be limited if you had mobility issues.

Room was very comfortable, beautifully furnished with a lovely colour palette. Tasty home baking to accompany a cup of tea. Good bed and shower. lovely hosts.

Close to the road, although not very busy.

Loved this lovely B&B our Host were fantastic as was the breakfast. Comfy bed lovely clean nice decorated bedroom . Would stay again
