Staff at The Beachcroft were all extremely polite, friendly and helpful; breakfast was excellent and the bar prices were very reasonable. We especially enjoyed sitting at Blakes in the open air where once again the staff were great.

Our room was on the second floor and we both found the very steep and narrow staircase problematic to navigate; especially when taking our cases up and/or down. Our room was clean but wasn't serviced to the extent we anticipated. Only one can of sparkling water on arrival which was not replenished. A distinct lack of electrical sockets; in fact there was a table lamp on one bedside cabinet, but nowhere to plug it in.

Good location, good sea a d coastal views, quiet but with easy access to sites of interest. Beach side bar good place to people watch. Restraunt food excellent with really good service. Room had everything you need and was comfortable. View along the beach was great.

Old building looking a bit tired in places. Blind in bedroom room was damaged so made it awkward to open window. The upper rooms can be very warm so need the ventilation. Spent most of our time out so no real issue and there are things to do if weather is bad. I do have OCD about pictures being level, that could have driven me mad.

I know the Beachcroft well, I'm from the area but live in London. I love its well preserved old style charm mixed with contemporary additions.. The staff are friendly and always go over and above. The location by the sea couldn't be better - great little outdoor bar. terrace right on the sea. Comfortable, well kept rooms with super comfy beds. It's a very special spot - one of my favourite places in UK to take time out and feel looked after. I had a fabulous view of the beach on this trip. The indoor pool is nice to have too!

The room and the view were excelent. We could see the sea across the outside bar but the noise level was acceptable and the bar was closed before 10 pm. We were made to feel welcome and all the staff were really helpful - just what you need on holiday.

The evening menu in the resturant was not to our taste. No aircon in the room but it was ok with the windows open. You needed to be careful on the stairs as they were shallow treads.

Staff were very friendly, welcoming, helpful, & polite. The hotel had a great atmosphere. It was clean, smelt fresh, great location. The room I stayed in was perfect for my needs & great facilities, the bed & pillows were very comfortable & and there was a noticeably high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. I would definitely recommend the hotel & would stay again. Thank you for making my stay pleasent.

I stayed only 1 night & have nothing negative to say.

The location is scenic as the hotel is on the seafront in the quieter area of Bognor Regis called Felpham. I chose a king room with sea view. I was very happy with it and enjoyed a very good breakfast. I had a wonderful stay, The staff were very warm and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

The room needs an update as it’s decor and furniture are very old and worn out.

Pleasant staff. Excellent food although more choice for vegetarians would have been appreciated.

Lighting in the room was terrible, making it very difficult to read. The lights above the bed need to be brighter and closer to the bed. Lots of people like to read in bed. My mother ended up using the torches from 2 mobile phones! My mother is hard of hearing and the volume on the TV was fixed to a maximum of 35. She was wearing her hearing aides but still found hearing the TV difficult. Whilst we appreciate the importance of other guests not being disturbed another 2 or three levels of volume would have made all the difference and would not have disturbed our neighbours. We spoke to reception staff about this difficulty but they were unable to help us.

Lovely location, sea view room, pleasant staff, clean room, hearty breakfast. Very nice veranda bar area overlooking the beach.

At £378 for 2 nights B&B this is quite an expensive hotel, so we were expecting a high standard of decoration and some interesting choices on the breakfast menu -perhaps some smoked haddock with eggs Benedict, for example, or smashed avocado on sourdough with poached eggs. However, rooms were clean and well proportioned but quite average. Breakfast was the usual Full-English fare and its variations, though nicely cooked. So, not bad at all, but could have been more imaginative, given the tariff. One other point - we came in late on Saturday evening to find there was no space left in the tight car park. There is absolutely no street parking nearby, so we had no choice but to park outside the designated spaces and obstruct other vehicles.

View from room, cleanliness of rooms and a balcony to sit out on in the sun. The added bonus of outdoor restaurant. The swimming pool was very good you book half hour slots so you have the pool to yourself.

The bathroom extractor fan did not work so once had shower the room was like a sauna, creaky floors need attention as I’m an early riser.

Location by the sea, helpful staff, great breakfast, great base for exploring local area

One of the rooms we were given smelt very mouldy, that's a housekeeping check, however they did change when we went to the desk. We ordered breakfast which they forgot, they apologised for this and brought however we did end up waiting almost 50mins for food, asked for the toast in the meantime but still came with the food. . A shame as without these 2 issues it would have been one of our best one night stays.
